Weigh in today was such a shock.

    110.5 I have gained almost 4kg.

So sad I broke down in tears - heartbroken.

My body is fighting me, really fighting me it seems.

BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP. I am continuing next week with 800 cals per day.

Lets see what next week brings me.

No lipstick again this week.......*sigh* but that is okay. If I keep fighting my body, eventually I will win.

I love your persistence. You've got it. I remember seeing gain-backs. They hit you inside and you want to faint. It's a terrible feeling. No worries at all though. You'll break right past it.

Must be the moon phase. . . I gained a little too. Not as much, but I haven't lost as much either. You are killing it, just wait until you see what you weigh two weeks from now!! I know, that's a long time away, but it is surely coming.

The fact of the matter with gains is, most people get knocked out of the race at that point, not knowing that jumping off because it seems not to be working is NEVER an option since that would guarantee weight being gained back.

Kitty, what are you taking for your hypothyroid? Your condition is a big, big loss hindrance for sure (as you know). At some point, I'd like to go over my recommended regimen of supplements with you.

    1) Avoid broccoli, cauliflower, and any cruciferous veggies as much as possible.
    2) Increase salmon and green apple consumption.
    3) Include these supplements, and if you can only get a hold of one or two, do A and B...
    A. Selenium
    B. Ashwagandha powder
    C. D3
    D. B12

Your condition works against you so vehemently. You should see faster losses and feel better very quickly. Just been conferring with another OMADer who saw great results.

    More to follow...gotta run.

I don't think there is anyway you gained 4 kg of fat in a week! I think it's most likely water gain. Stick it out and it should come off. I started this week out 4 lbs over last week and ended up with a 1lb loss so weights can fluctuate!

I hope so Bob!... Fingers crossed!!!

Meal today was a medly of mushrooms, tomato and salmon. Taking carbs and cruciferous veg out of my diet to take control of my thyroid issues. Will start taking supliments too that Joe suggested.

    Total cals today = 795

My body is already reacting and screaming in a bad bad way!! so I had some coffee this evening to pick up my energy, it helped thankgoodness!! Determined to see this week through to see the results and keep progressing onward and upward and lose these kg that are holding me and my health back.

Lessen the cruciferous veggies, but don't worry about most carbs. You don't want to back yourself into a mental corner where you can't function or lose your game. Your condition has you scrambling, but you're still in control. And now, you'll take more corrective measures. Just sit back and watch the progress. You'll be seeing losses again soon.

And yes to what Bob said: No way you gained that much weight. It's water.

Also, (how could I forget!) take 1 tablespoon of kelp seaweed salt to a glass of water daily for two weeks. Alternatively, you can add that amount just like table salt. You won't taste a difference.

thanks Newmeadow! my husband always cooks his bacon in the micro! he says its turns out better. =)

Well got mega busy yesterday! So I had no time to upload my little dinner and report.vk7c993qrbg8.jpg

Yesterday I made myself rice porridge out of left over rice from the day before, and had it with salmon, Chinese 5 spice and two tbsp. of dark syrup. It was heaven, but looks kinda yuck......

Yesterday was an awesome day for me, I basically scored two jobs worth 1000 bucks, while my poor husband wasted his weekend over one stupid client who could barely part with 50 bucks. The graphic design business can be a fickle mistress at times, all I can say is thankgod now we have finished renovating and decorating our apartment, cause now is the time to start saving =) Thankgod everything is payed for..............

Not sure what I will be eating today....... oddly enough I don't really want too many carbs......

oh! I also meant to say that, all that porridge was ONLY half a cup of rice.........but when I make it that way it seems to stretch forever!

You are the Rice Queen. That settles it.

My rice was cooked with turmeric and broccoli tonight. I much enjoyed it.

Great job on scoring the work, and great job on starting to save. Nothing is better than having money in the bank for emergency or a rainy day or a nice vacation.

Kitty, I'm late to comment on this but you look so wonderful in your picture! Definitely slimmer and healthier, and I LOVE your makeup. I used to have a lipstick in a very similar shade but I lost it xD Your cat is a sweetie too.

So encouraging to me to see you guys supporting her. Kitty, looks like you have this under control. So glad you aren't even thinking of giving up. It's harder when you are dealing with thyroid issues. Are you on medication?
