Judy, be easy with that shoulder and mind your PT and docs! Dave had surgery for a torn rotator cuff in August and it was a full 5-month rehab with him exceeding all expectations. There's nothing fast about it. Please be patient with yourself and ((HUGS)).

Good morning ladies. We had a wonderful time last night. Plus a wonderful day.

Suzi- sorry about your Sooners, I know how you love them. No I am not walking the house, but getting plenty of steps.

Bert- get back on Simply eating plan as you did so well and season is here. Sorry for your extended pain. I sure hope your PT will result in some relief for you.

Janet- a typical symphony it was not last night! Roll n Roll!!! Lol. Glenn absolutely loved it. Not my cup of tea, but they showed parts of the Wizard of Oz on the screen during parts of it, which was neat.

We are heading out to purchase a flat screen tv, wall mount and treadmill today to finish the office up.

Patti- are you back? How much is a new transmission going to cost, or can Edd's friend do that too?

I better get going. Finally going to Utopia movie today. But first JJ wants to come over and play me two songs on my piano he has learned. Very talented young man.

Janet, I managed to sneak a few t-shirts out before my hubby woke up! We are continuing to deep clean today, top to bottom and filling bags to donate. And you aren't kidding! The tired has hit but it's a giant exhale of relief!

MaryLynn, I just love gardening...we got snow yesterday and today so no gardening for me yet. Usually around mothers day.

Suzi, thank you! I work for a large university as a regulatory analyst/compliance specialist, and it was our re-accreditation of our human research protection program. It was a lot of work, but it went swimmingly! Sorry about your Sooners...I had them in the championship game on my bracket. What a strange tourney this has been :-/

Judy, what a terrible fall! Saying prayers for you as you continue to heal.

Judy, time your pain meds to be at maximum force during PT (something I learned with my orthopedic surgeries). Best of luck with it -- no fun, but worth it. Don't push it -- rehab must be done very carefully after a joint replacement. And let Fred and the kids take care of you. They will LOVE being of help to the woman who does so much for everyone. I'm sure your church family will be more than willing to help out as needed too.

Suzi, thought of you last night. Never expected to see two blowouts last night.

Karla, they must've done the "Wizard of Oz/Dark Side of the Moon" thing -- have read about it but never tried it. Need to do that sometime, but without the pyrotechnics. Glad you had a fun night out with Glenn and friends. Getting a TV for your reclaimed room is an excellent idea.

Beth, glad you are summoning the energy to do stuff. Trying to gear up to be quasi-productive here.

Beautiful out today after 50-60 MPH gusting winds last night. But cold. Going to shower and start laundry here and finish getting things in order to do taxes. Staying in today, hoping to finish Season 2 of "Mozart in the Jungle" -- don't know when they'll put season 3 up.

Must cook some chicken today -- feeling really protein-deprived. The yogurt in the fridge is mocking me! Am hurting today so will take care of that too. I see doc tomorrow and think she will be pleased with my first week of healing -- heaven knows I'm pleased with her work!

    Hi Ladies-
I have chicken soup in the crock pot- my blog post is up and was tough to write for some reason. I reposted a couple of pictures from last week as they are truly stunning hope people don't mind seeing them twice- L:)
Janet chicken will hit the protein spot- darn yogurt- put something in front of it.
Judy- so happy to see you and I echo the others- pace your self and listen to the doctors- maybe try to focus on Fruits and Veggies
Karla- How was the movies- love the pictures of Izzy and Glenn
Suzi- its good to see you post- are you still doing WW?
Beth- deep cleaning is SO rewarding
MaryLynn- I'm jealous your gardening- we got 3-4 inches of snow over night- yuck but it won't last. It is super cold out side today with high winds.
I've decided to sign up for WW online again- I'm not doing well with MFP tracking. I think it doesn't give me the structure on how to "spend" my calls- so I'm going to do the 3 month package. If I can refocus after that I don't know how I'll get my WL mojo back
Yesterday was a bit uncomfortable but overall ok until we were leaving- the ex's bestie was there and shouted- THANK YOU as we were leaving- guess she thought we overstayed our welcome. We just ignored her and left- such childish behavior. But Karma is tough to ignore longterm.
    I'll be back later-

Janet, don't overdo today since you're hurting!

Cindy, your pictures are great from your trip! I've enjoyed them. Spectacular!

I'm taking a breaking from cleaning to do nothing. I've been in denial about a toothache and there's no doubt there's a big issue, probably necessitating a root canal, but we will see. I have a dentist appt in the morning. There's almost nothing I fear more than the dentist, as irrational as that is, so prayers would be appreciated!

Beth - I was such a dentist chicken that I didn't even have my teeth cleaned for about 10 years, in spite of having dental insurance and taking my kids every 6 months. Finally tried a new dentist that another cheer mom worked for and promised he would give me gas and wouldn't belittle me for not going. As soon as I sit down in the chair they put the gas on me and I'm good. Ask for gas!

Cindy - yes, I'm still doing WW. If you can, try to do at least a few meetings to learn the new Smart Points system and hopefully find a connection to a meeting and leader that works for you. It makes such a HUGE difference when you have a good meeting. With the new system, you still weigh, but it's no biggie deal. There is much more emphasis on your overall well being, nutrition, and the mental part of weight loss. There are good meetings and good leaders out there, you just need to find one.

Janet - UGH! Taxes! I'm so glad I've got that behind me. Enjoy your protein fix with the chicken and stay ahead of that pain. You mentioned your surgeon - have you had some "revisions"? Sorry I'm out of the loop.

Karla - have fun shopping for the newly reclaimed room and at the movies with the kids.

It's been a very busy day here. We started by cleaning out the garage good in anticipation of our storm shelter being installed tomorrow. This was another one of those "after the fight" chores. In spite of keeping the house very clean and orderly (except for his desk), Dave is a total pig in the garage. It's understandable since that was one of his "punishment" chores growing up, but I'd lived with that mess for over a year and that was enough. I just started in and told him that if he wanted to be sure I didn't throw a bunch of necessary crap away, he needed to at least come sort and supervise. I moved stuff around, swept and organized and we got it done before lunch.

This afternoon, we walked in a community-wide 5K. There were a lot of our Y buddies and my WW buddies who participated and We also talked to two people I went to school with and Dave's former next-door-neighbor. It's going to be a two 5K week. We're doing the OKC Heart Walk with a team from the bank on Saturday and Jessi and her roommate are doing it with us. 16,000+ steps and counting today.

Good Morning, Ladies...........I'm up early as I'm having the upstairs carpets cleaned this morning. I've made a deal with them that they will come every 6 months to clean the entire house for half price. They say that it cuts their time in half if carpets are cleaned every 6 months and they are just doing "maintenance" cleaning rather than deep carpet cleaning.....it makes sense.

Yesterday's sermon was a good one and it definitely hit home with my family. It centered around Jesus' healing and how He helps everyone, even if they don't believe it. I pray for my younger son, wife, and their children as she is Jewish, although they don't attend church. I know they are living the Christian life as it shows in everything they do. My son was raised in the church.

Today is definitely an exercise day. My back muscles have been giving me fits, so I've taken it easy the last few days. I have to get moving.....

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good Morning Ladies-
Beth- I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures- did you see the blog post- it talks a little about the pictures I posted too.
Bert- I too believe that living the Christian life is so critical to us all- and I don't believe you need to attend a specific building to do so, it is what we each carry in our heart every day. There is a man at work who goes to church 3x per week and he is SO unkind each and every day it makes me wonder if he sleeps through the message and readings.
Janet- are you feeling better today- how was the chicken
Suzi- the only meeting we have close to me I attended last year for 6 months- I actually gained 5 pounds in going as it was stressful and not overly enjoyable. No matter what the scale said it was met with a sad face from the lady weighing me in- I might have mistaken her comments but several ladies felt the same way.
I do think I need to get something more than just the tracker maybe spending more time on the site will help. But I'm NOT giving up.
Karla- how was the movie and more importantly how is your eye?
Judy- how is the shoulder today?
Patti- are yo home yet? Missing you!
MaryLynn- did you enjoy your weekend?
Jeannette- what dance are you teaching this week?
Myra- Are you working your plan this week?
Need to get busy with the day job- I'll be back again.

good morning, OMG ladies :) I'm so far behind in personals, I won't pretend i can catch up before my girls wake up..... so I apologize in advance for those i'm sure i'll miss....

Bert- thanks for sharing the sermon topic. I haven't attended church in years, but apparently I needed to "hear" that. my back has been giving me trouble for weeks, but i think i'm almost back to normal and will try a yoga class this morning. wishing us both luck!

Suzi- nice to have you back! sounds like you had a great time away and have been working like a dog ever since your return. my younger girls have been out of school for two weeks... they go back tomorrow and i'm looking forward to my usual routine.

Judy- your accidental fall sounds horrific, i'm so sorry you are having to go through this. please try to be kind to yourself during this recovery.

Beth- congrats! on the great news from work! and, more importantly, that it's OVER! and best of luck at the dentist today. toothaches are miserable, but i can understand why you tried to ignore it.

Cindy- I've never tried WW, but if that is what works for you, I applaud you for recognizing this and forging ahead. I've gained over ten pounds since joining this group, but I've been successful with MFP in the past, and i'm sure i will be again. everyone is different (dammit)

Janet- I'm sending you positive thoughts and vibes during this phase of recovery! boy, was i surprised at how much the eaglets grew while i was away!

Karla- congrats on having your house back! enjoy! beautiful amaryllis

Jeanette- I think you did a FABULOUS job on the Easter outfits! your granddaughters are precious! congrats

Patti- looking forward to hearing how your visit was to Sarasota, where I grew up ;) I lived in Tallahassee for three years, while I attended school, and my first was born in Tallahassee, two weeks before we moved to NC!

before I get going..... I am willing to update mini goals for this week, even though i'm a day behind.... I'll post the goals from last time after this... and if anyone wants a change, just let me know in all caps. thanks

Good morning ladies and welcome to our new week.

Myra- you little sweetheart = please update my OMG GOAL to be -DO THE STRENGTH TRAINING FOR UPPER BODY X3 TH IS WEEK.

I had a great weekend with my grandkids. Izzy spent the night with us Friday night as I mentioned and went to the Christening with us. We took her home Saturday so we could go to the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon rendition by the Black Jacket Symphony series. It was at the Saenger Theater, but was a fantastic show, but no, was not the symphony orchestra. Glenn absolutely loved it. He is more hard core Roll N Roll than I was from the early 70's. Me, soft rock. LOL. I am more Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, Eagles, etc. We purchased ticket for this same series for the Eagles shows, tribute in September. It felt good to see Glenn enjoy himself so much. He works so very hard and deserved it.

Bert - I agree with the carpet cleaner, better to keep cleaning up than to let it get bad and have to do the deep cleaning. That is why I like consistent housekeepers!!

Suzi- I hear you on that garage. I was on my Dad and brother over in Panama City and threatening to call the Hoarder's show and get them put on it!!!! LOL

Judy- Dear lady, I know there will be quite a recovery but I have no doubt that the dear Lord will be looking upon you with love and care and you will heal and recover as quickly as possible. Hang in there and let everyone pamper you. You know they want to.

Cindy- I will go view your gorgeous pictures and read you loving blog when I get a minute. I have lots of credentialing to do today and am already having trouble getting on the Blue Cross of MS site this morning. Uggghh. As far as the ex. Poohie to them. Low class commenting like that as you left, they are just pure jealous!!! Don't let them win by eating sweets or giving them a second thought. You got Rick and it is eating them alive.

I love having this extra room back. It is like my house has expanding in fold. Glenn hung the new Smart Samsung HD tv up last night. I can watch my Netflix in here and keep up on my shows as I am working. Chris did not make it over to get the bed, so we will get the treadmill when we get back from vacation. We all need a break after all the stress we have had lately. Jason's court case, my credentialing and Glenn's ship work. Destin BEACH, here we come!!!!!

    I'll check back later on..

Good morning. The chicken was delish and I will make it again, perhaps with different iodine-free seasonings -- have two portions in the fridge.

Tired here today but going to doc later. Hoping to catch up on a few things here as well.

    KEEP MY GOAL THE SAME.

Getting through the low-iodine restrictions is my real goal, and praying the scan on the 15th shows no cancer left.

Have a great start to the week!

Good morning ladies! We had a nice sunny weekend here that ended in rain, which was perfect because hubby did all kinds of yard work including using weed and feed on the grass (it needs water to work right)

I hope you all had a good weekend, spending time doing the things you enjoy and with people you love.

My teaching starts its winding down this month. I have review this week, tests next week, and then a week of misc teaching at Corban, then I am done there until August. This is my favorite job that I've ever had; it suits me perfectly.

Have a wonderful day whatever you are doing
    Grace and peace to you

    Hi- Quick check in-
Janet- you WILL be cancer free on the 15th!
Myra- what do you feel are the benefits from yoga for you- does your body get toned or is it more for relaxation?
Judy- I'm glad you're starting PT- it means one more step closer to be fully recovered.
Karla- We'll all be on the beach with you and Glenn- not to close but just close enough to savor the smell of the ocean.
Jeanette- Do you have the summer off from teaching?

Goal for the week: THIS WEEK I'LL EAT LIKE I LOVE MYSELF

Well, the carpet cleaner finally came after I called about a no show. The secretary said it wasn't on their calendar. I wasn't happy as Mike had lifted things on the floors for me and I didn't want to do it twice. It turned out that there was a cancellation and he came at 11 instead of 8. Happy about that.

Today has been a good day for eating from my containers. Mike wants BLT tonight, so I'll make turkey bacon for me. I made a huge salad for lunch and the total calorie count was 431. I definitely have calories left for dinner.

Good evening. Plastic surgeon says I'm doing great after last week's revisions. Don't need to see her for three weeks -- after we have the verdict on my body scan. There are a couple more revisions to do and then we will be pretty much done!

Took a load of things to Goodwill on the way to the doc and ran a few errands on the way home. I'll watch the national championship game tonight and keep working on stuff tomorrow.

Yesterday I got to see both eagle parents feeding the little ones -- they really are growing fast.

Myra, I have thought about yoga but not sure whether my orthopedic situation would work with it. Would love to know more about what you're doing.

Home at last! We left Tallahassee yesterday morning at 9am, with a planned 8 hour drive to a friend's house in southern KY. We spent over 3 hours total in stop and go traffic. Atlanta was a breeze. So we didn't make it to our friend's until almost 8:30pm. They waited to fix us a wonderful steak dinner. The rally was so much fun along with lots of hard work and 4 inches of rain Friday nite to Saturday morning. The one thing we did very little of was sleep, between the rain, cold weather and low air level in the mattress. The food was beyond fabulous and, yes, I ate way too much. The entire trip was just what we needed. It was all about spending time with friends, old and new. I am left with a feeling of being totally blessed. Everywhere I turn in my life I am greeted with such love and friendship.
I had so much fun learning to watercolor and now I want to jump in and buy all the stuff I need to do some more. My friend loaned me her favorite basic book and gave me a few supplies. I can't wait to get my "masterpiece" framed. My friend also gave me one of her watercolor paintings. It is of an old weathered door with a chickadee perched on the brass doorknob. So perfect for my cabin.

I have read everything you all have posted but will start with personals with my next post, no way to catch up for the past two weeks. Tomorrow will be a busy one. No food in the house, lots of laundry and unpacking. Praying the weather is nice enough to set up the tent to dry and clean it before storing. But for now I am soooooo looking forward to sleeping in my heated waterbed! Love to travel, makes me love my bed more, lol!

    Good Morning Friends-
I woke up to more SNOW so it has reverted to January for us the temp was 25- UGH. This won't last long but my longing to play in the dirt is delayed for a couple of days if not weeks.
Patti- welcome home. SO glad you have a great time. We missed you!
Janet- some gentle yoga might be a good thing for you- I would check with your doctor. My Emily firmly believes Yoga can be modified for all people not matter what their physical limitations are- she says its not about being perfect in each pose but that you are trying to help yourself- even if all you do is the breathing..... She sent me a link to look at. I can forward it to you too. Some of it is scary but again she said just do the breathing mom... Love that kid so encouraging to everyone she meets.
Judy- good luck with PT today. I"m still dealing with Amazon to get the pages fixed in Last First Kiss so you can download for free the updated copy. They are VERY difficult to work with.
Myra- have fun at the ortho- first appt for your daughter?
Bert- you're right life is precious and sometimes we forget that very important point.
    Suzi- is the garage done?
Karla- I'm sure you're loving the quiet zone at Casa de Mitchell- :)
Well need to run- had a great food day yesterday so I did eat like I loved myself and I threw out the oreos. I'll be able to have them in the house again without temptation but not right now.

    Good morning dear OMG pals...

Cindy- I love the way you write..love your wording. Of course you are a writer!! Yes I am loving the Casa de Mitchell. But I am also worrying about Chris too.

Myra- Thanks for updating our board yet again. An angel from heaven you are. What is on your agenda for this week.

Janet- So nice hearing your voice and continuing to recive your support with my turbulent life. Your have no eartly idea how much it means to me my dear friend.

Judy- I will be praying for you as your start the physical torture therapy, I'm sorry, but that is what it is at the beginning, but it does work it's wonders at the end. Trust me, the insurance companies would NOT pay for it if it wasn't effective.

Bert- so very glad it worked out with the carpet cleaners. I do not have any carpet in my home. Jut hard woods and ceramic tile. With pets it is just not worth it.

Patti!!!!! so glad you are back and sounds like you had a wonderful time. Now we have a painter in our group!!! Take you time catching up with us. So glad you are back in the fold.

I have been working in my office this morning, but will head out shortly to show my face a few hours, 4 actually, at the Podiatry, and then back home for more credentialing. I am pushing myself along so I won't have to drag much with me on vacation. The BC of MS went real well yesterday and am waiting on the providers to get me some documents. I am making some big bucks on this contract.

    I better get a going..

Good Morning, Ladies. It's very cold this morning, but sunny. I hope I didn't lose any flowers. My rose bushes and mums are above the ground. Mums can take it, but I'm not sure about the roses.

Karla: I wish I only had hard wood and tile. The next time he comes, it will be half price. So I'm happy about that.

I'm heading out in a while to run errands and then have lunch with a friend. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning lovely ladies, it is cold and sunshiny here, way different than the weather we left in FL, but still happy to be back home. Now comes the re entry into my daily life. Going through the mail, paying bills and dealing with all sorts of problems that seem to always arise when you leave home for any length of time, put the travel is still worth it. Today is laundry, grocery shopping (cupboards are seriously bare!) and TRX. Tomorrow I wil go to Mom's and regale her with my travel stories, lol. We have another trip planned for the first weekend in May. MS for another BMW rally and hopefully a couple of days with my brother in Birmingham, if I can catch him at home. We also decided to go a rally in the Smokies in June. All of these will be on the motorcycle and camping in our pop up.

Cindy, loved catching up on your blog posts and "seeing" your memories.
Judy, sending you healing vibes and prayers that your pain meds work through your PT.
Bert, I only have 2 rooms with carpet and would gladly change to hardwood if Edd would let me. I clean my own carpetts and should do it more often. Hope all your flowers make it through the cold.
Janet, maybe this low iodine diet is just the ticket to get you to goal. I just know that scan will be clear and you can close the book on this chapter. Great news on your recent revisions.
Myra, thank you for being so vigilant with the weekly OMGs. You are so sweet to us and it does not go unnoticed.
Susie, love seeing your posts again. I don't go in Edd's garage, it is just too scary.
Jeanette, I bet you are going to miss your dance classes this summer. Hope it all works out with you to move in with your parents.

Sorry if I missed anyone, just getting my head out of vacation mode and back into my real life is taking most of my brain power!

    Good morning ladies,
We have a warm and rainy day outside, so some inside activities may be in order, or don the "rain gear" and head back out there.
Started some topical testosterone therapy today, so it will be interesting to see the impact in a while.
Will check in again later for more personals, but wanted to say welcome home to Patti!
Keep focused on your own mini goal today and enjoy yourselves with those you love.
    Hugs,

Cindy and Janet- the yoga studio i attend is very gentle. in fact, she calls it "yoga therapy" her style is eclectic, so it's hard to describe. it is not like any yoga class i've tried before.... there are no sun salutations, and very few standing poses (although we've done some warrior 2 and some tree poses) most of it is mat work. we do some core strengtheners, and she seems to like doing "end range of motion" strengtheners. and we always finish class with 10 minutes of mindfulness or meditation. So, to answer your question, Cindy, this class is more stretching and "restorative" for me than toning. my two favorite classes are "gentle" which i attend with a handful of sweet little old ladies :) and "self-myofascial release" which usually attracts a more athletic audience, and we work with foam rollers and strategically placed racquetballs.

Janet- I encourage you to research "hanna somatics" I was having lower back pain over the holidays that just wouldn't quit, and out of desperation, i searched for "how to unlock lower back" and found a video on Utube by a dude named "James Knight". the immediate relief i experienced after following along (about 12 minutes) made me a firm believer! I have since bought his dvd: Gentle Yoga through Somatic exploration...... i have only tried the lower body section and i like it, although it's slow-paced. slow is what i need, but i don't wanna. BUT.... he has BUNCHES of UTUBE videos of varying lengths, so a purchase isn't necessary.... i just felt like supporting this guy who saved my Christmas ;)

I am so glad i have reached angel status just by posting OMG's  and here i was feeling bad that i didn't get to it before i left town the other week ;) speaking of feelings.... remember the medication I had to fight my insurance to pay their "part" of? I finally started taking it on good friday. It is a drug that has helped me in the past, but comes with side effects (don't they all). I'm cautiously optimistic that it is working once again for me. I caught myself smiling the other day, and it wasn't even forced :) I am going to go out on a limb and say I believe i'm really starting to turn a corner. this latest bout of depression has been a dooosy to claw my way back from... so THANK YOU for all of your support and for being such nice people!

Patti- i'm so happy to hear of your great people-visiting vacation :) did you read that I grew up in Sarasota? btw, your comment about Edd's garage made me chuckle ;)

Bert- I'd prefer to get rid of all wall-to-wall carpet too, but alas, it is more economical upfront. I'm lucky to have the hardwood floors I DO have :)

that's all for now: one kid has tennis class, the other has soccer practice, so it's a divide and conquer and throw dinner together later kind of evening for us here.

Myra -- Glad the med seems to be working!

Patti -- Welcome home. Sounds like a wonderful and much-needed trip. I'm ready to drive up after I'm done with the low-iodine routine.

Bert -- So sorry abut your superintendent -- a good reminder of the preciousness of life.

Cindy, love your weekly goal. I'm not eating well on this thing but trying ...

Karla, hope you had a calmer day.

Judy, how did PT go? Been thinking of you.

MaryLynn, hope the therapy works. At least you have warm -- my fireplace is going here.

    Suzi, any yard/gardening progress?

Beth, hope you continue to make a bit of time to do nothing. After the last couple of months, you owe it to yourself.

Jeanette, you are so graceful with words, as you are with your dancing.

Looks like the fight to stay on my muscle relaxer (flexeril) is over and I will have to switch to something else for reasons of cost -- SHOULD cost about $9 for three months, but they want to charge almost $400. (Don't get me started -- Karla, I know you're chiming in with a dozen stories from your work!). Soapbox moment: Insurance companies and pharmacy benefit managers have NO business practicing medicine, or forcing someone through $ to change away from something CHEAP that works. This is one of the many reasons why I walked away from my job.(stepping off soapbox)

Ran a few errands - it's cold here and staying that way. I like the crisp air but feel bad for people who have just planted things. Going to have chicken and a sweet potato for dinner.

Back from TRX and it didn't kill me, so that is good, but it definitely wasn't easy. Have a nice salad with chicken, fruit and veggies ready and waiting for my supper. Got lots of things accomplished today so I can relax with Mom tomorrow.

Karla, did not mean to skip you. I had in mind what I was going to post and thought I had, still getting my brain back from vacation mode. So happy to hear you have all your rooms back. You will probably always worry about Chris, just as we all worry about those we love, but you gave him what he needed when he needed it. I hope your disability goes thru so you can stop stressing your eye with all the computer work. Have you started the filing process yet?

Mary Lynn, your post gave me a great chuckle. I read that you were starting "tropical testosterone therapy" and was thinking that is was a great way to describe hot flashes. Reread it and had a good laugh at myself. Hope it works, keep us posted.

Myra, I did remember that you had grown up in Sarasota. It was a really nice town. Our friend is the best tour guide and she showed us all around town. When we went downtown to see the statue of the sailor and the nurse we found the best little "art in the park". We made it to Siesta Key and drove thru Longbow Key too. The weather was perfect, especially the day we rode our bikes down to Venice. I will keep the prayers coming that the meds give you more smiles every day.

Janet, when will you be done with low iodine diet so we can put our lunch on the calendar! I a right there with you on the soapbox. One of my jobs when I was a Case Manager was to work for the patient, against the insurance companies to get the meds covered. We can all thank Medicare for the restrictions. So if anyone thinks we don't have socialized medicine in this country, think again. Medicare makes the rules and guess who runs Medicare? I have had to change all my medications in the last few years for my high blood pressure. I'll jump down now too!

Need to go eat my salad before it gets any later. Tried a new Dannon light and fit yogurt today. Caramel fudge pretzel, caramel yogurt with chocolate covered pretzel bits. Liked the bits, but the caramel did not cut it, plus it was 130 calories. Bummer, it was all things I like.
