Yeah I suppose I'm ok with it for now LOL - it occurred to me that I started adding in some body weight/resistance training last week too so that could be throwing things off a bit :)

Yes be ok!!! I just replied about this on Mirandas page ;)

    I'll check 'er out! :)

You should be proud of yourself, Steph! In spite of everything, you just keep on losin'! Send some of your mojo my way. ;)

Also--wanted to chime in that when I cook, I also have to taste it. There's nothing worse than preparing this elaborate meal, only to sit down and discover that it tastes like... well, you know. :D

LOL TRUTH! I love food too much to not make sure it's perfect! Even if it's not for me! LOL - and thank you Sunny, sending mojo your way!

On another note - did end up eating some soup at lunch..chicken tortilla - it was divine. I have some chicken for a salad tonight and I think I'm going to turn some of that pork into taco pork and made a 'dilla! 'Dilla and salad are two of my favorite things, so sounds like a winning dinner to meeeeeeeeeeeeee! ALSO I think I'm going to start counting cals again on my eating days...more out of curiosity then anything else, but also I was seeing faster/more consistent losses when I was...but then again, it was also much earlier in my weight loss SO...we'll see how that goes LOL

I had to start tracking my food again. Just because I have come too lax in my OMAD. I am like "Eat all the food" once it is time to eat. I can maintain like that but I can't lose. Good Luck.

OH ALSO - forgot to tell you guys earlier...the pasta did not happen because I didn't get the grocery shopping done (and spinach was a necessity for the pasta) SO instead I made Nikki a "pulled pork melt" on grilled sourdough with a side of gravy for dipping...forgot to take a picture, my bad...I'll make sure to take one of both hers and mine tonight :) (Though she'll probs get a 'dilla too since I'm seasoning up da pork anyway LOL)

I've been thinking the exact same thing... But I DON'T WANNA!! And I'm not going to give in yet.... I hate tracking.

And Steph - 1 lb is AWESOME. I would be sooooo happy with 1 lb, it's like 5x better than 0.2!!! Ha!

If your gaining muscle and staying the same weight, your also losing fat and the combination of the two is making the %body fat better. Key is how the clothes fit!

Agreed Sarah! I don't wanna so I'm just going to be mindful of it for now :) And I suppose I'll take the pound...I'm within 30 pounds of my goal weight, so it makes sense for it to slow down.

Bob - yes, I'm hoping that's what it is...although I'm not doing like major HEAVY lifting so I can't imagine I'm putting on that much muscle...80 squats a few days a week doesn't seem like enough to build muscle, but perhaps so simply because I was so sedentary for so long when I was sick.

    Time will tell :)

Monday morning check innnnn! Hope everyone had a SUPER weekend!

Fast for the week started at appx midnight last night (it was a late eating weekend) and my weight this morning was 195, so another big swing this week...doesn't surprise me, SO much salt and cocktails this weekend...still have faith I can get down to 184 this week...I REALLY REALLY wanted to be back down to 179 by the EOM, but doesn't look like that's going to happen...I'd be happy to get down to 182.

Here's some food porn from the weekend:
Friday night's dinner: pork with gravy, a baked tater, asparagus, and a salad with some chicken and homemade ranch.

Saturday I had a night at a swanky hotel with Cedric (we had a jacuzzi and everything! WOOT WOOT!) No food pics, but we had some fish and chips, and some chicken...along with some of the biscuits and gravy...but for obvious reasons, no pictures LOL

2MADed yesterday but this was dinner - pork nachos with guac and lettuce, and some candy afterward. (Breakfast/Lunch was some leftover biscuits and gravy from Sat and a BLT)

Steph your food looks good and sounds like a fun weekend!

We are so close in weight, and you have been doing this longer, how big are your swings after a 2mad weekend? I typically am not paying too much attention on Sat/Sun and will not weigh until Wed for a preview for Friday so just curious if I were to weigh on MOnday how much i could go up. I guess the bottom line is I might be afraid to get on the scale after a big weekend, but in your experience, once you are back to OMAD you do see it flying off? Just curious.
My goal for this week is 184 also :) We can do this!!!

My weigh in last week was 185 so a solid 10 pound swing...the difference is my 2MAD is really more like a splurge day...you referenced "going back to OMAD" but remember that my swings are also much bigger because I weigh in after my weekly 72-96 hour extended fast...I try to make these true water fasts (though it doesn't always work out that way LOL). If you're OMADing and then a couple 2MADs, I imagine your swings would be smaller, but test it and find out!

I generally plan on losing 3-4 pounds per day on my complete fasting days. I like the data each day and I know it's not my "weigh in weight" persay...plus it makes sure I'm on track to hit my weekly goal..like sometimes I have a few pickles but if it's going to be close on hitting my weekly loss goal, I'll try to avoid them (often unsuccessfully...I love pickles LOL).

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks for explaining, I am still learning this WOE and the things that go with it. I might try a 48 hour fast after tonight's meal, waiting until Wed. night to eat. Will see how it goes.

I am still distracted by how good those pork nachos looked :)

Thank you! My LOVE of food is what got me here to begin with :D:D:D
And I BETTER be down to at least 184 this week! 1 pound a week is respectable, but a mental minimum for me LOL...patience is not my strong suit.

The longer fasts are really nice for dropping quick weight and have some serious health benefits, but try to be mentally relaxed about it, because it WILL cause big swings and they can be triggering for some people. If you do, let me know how it goes :)

PS Those nachos were as good as they look...SO good (I want some now *sigh*)

All of your food looks so tasty! I'm with you on the squats. I want the number on the scale to go down, but I also want my butt and legs to look good. You've got this. You're doing so well!

I am seeing about a 1-2lb gain now when I do a 2mad weekend (aka both days). I'm counting drinking late at night as a second meal btw. I'm around 165 right now and I'm finding that the week's OMADs are not making up for the weekend anymore (they used to when I had more weight to lose). So I'm thinking I'm going to have to pick only ONE day on the weekend to let loose until I get to my goal weight. Mind you, I'm only thinking about it, because again, I don't WANNA!!!
