Well I have made it passed the bloat, gain, and migraine! I feel wonderful today! Now, I have to make formal apologies to my coworkers and family. Because I have certainly been a stark raving lunatic for the past 48 hours. But I digress...

I had a uterine ablation because my periods would last for 2 weeks and since the procedure I haven't had one and its been 7 months :)

Lucky ladies! And here I thought that I was the lucky one because I'm on a birth control that means I only have one period Every 3 months! Lol...

Lmao totally! To be fair, though, I do actually want to have some kids at some point in the next couple years so I suppose something like that would not be conducive

I wish I could've had an ablation but my fibroids were too big. The largest was the size of a cantaloupe with grapefruit sized ones on it and everywhere else. I had a robotic hysterectomy, still have an ovary. My TOM was like yours for years and kept getting worse. Diva cups didn't stand a chance because the clots were so big that the cup would fall out. I had to wear two overnight pads and a "mouse" and would soak through all three in an hour. Periods would last 2-3 weeks, I'd get maybe five days to a week without, and then Aunt Flow would come back. I do not miss those days at all! Lol

So glad hysterectomies are easier now, just five tiny incisions, no big huge scar that end up looking like you've had a c-section.

Reading this made me ROFL because it brought to mind an SNL ad skit. It's about a pill, Annuale, that works for eleven months, but when you have your period, "Hold on to your F***Bleep, Hat". LMAO!!!

Unfortunately, I don't think our overseas friend can view the video. :-(

OMG that's awful, you poor thing :( I had a few benign polyps but no fibroids and I would bleed heavy for only 3 days and the rest of the 2 weeks It would just hang on, thank God that's over with now!!!

It was awful and I only have myself to blame. I had that overactive mom and wife thing going... my husband begged and pleaded with me to see a gyn every year from age 30+, sometimes a lot throughout any given year, but I just had to make sure that he and the kids' health issues were taken first. What an idiot I was for not taking care of me. :-/
