Hi!
I’m Terri and new to this type of challenge! I am 45 yo mom of 3 and teacher. I am looking to continue on my journey to a fit body and a healthier weight. My goal is 130, and I am at 152.6 right now. Not sure if 130 is the right fit, but we will see! I have lost 26 pounds in five months, and feel stronger and happier. I am definitely at a plateau right now, so hopefully I will move beyond that sooner than later and not hold back our team!6 -

If you have not had a chance to read my initial post about our group and our challenge, please make sure to. You can find it by clicking HERE.
The first weigh in is tomorrow! So, anyone that has a scheduled weigh in day of Sunday, tomorrow is day one and counts as your official Week One Weigh In. I will still send out reminders each day just to help keep everyone on track. The weights you provided (for the new members) and the weights from your last weigh in (for returning challengers) are your starting weights for this challenge.
Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... if you are no longer interested in this challenge, or a week or two into it, you decided you don't want to compete, please let me know so I can have you removed from the sheet. This way I am not chasing people around for their weights when they aren't participating. KNOW THIS - If you decide you don't want to participate, NO HARD FEELINGS!! We all have circumstances that fall upon us that take precedence or, we just lose interest. There will be no shame from me or anyone else. Just be honest, as it saves everybody time!
Good luck everyone... work hard, play hard. Most of all, remember this is a challenge for health, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun!!!! I would also like to take a second to thank @AB0215 for all her hard work she puts into this challenge every month. She is one of the main mods that run the spreadsheet, the boards, and acts a the jack of all trades to keep this challenge running. Help me in thanking her!!!!!!6 -
Hello , my name is Lali. I am a retired RN. I have been a member of MFP since August 2012. About a year ago , I lost over 50lbs and I have regained 10lbs which I am struggling to lose. I did it once and I known that I can do it again . GoTeam Flab-U-Less! Welcome to all!6 -
Hello everyone, my name is Crystal. I started MFP July this year, and my body has changed tremendously. I feel so much healthier. This us my 2nd round on team Flab-U-Less. The group has really helped keep me motivated. I am still working on breaking mainly sugar cravings, but I know in time if i stick with it,it'll get better. Looking forward to a great month with you all! Good luck team!5

I am new to the challenge and posted my starting weight when I signed up for the challenge this past week. I weigh in on Saturdays, so I weighed in this morning. Do I go ahead and post that weigh in, or wait until next Saturday?4

Hi everybody, my name is Jason. I'm 42, married father of 3. I used to be very athletic...have run several half and full marathons, played football and basketball, but have fallen into a slump and steadily gained weight over the last 3-years. I'm currently 265-pounds and would like to get back to a healthier weight (195-pounds). I struggle with binge eating, primarily in the evenings, and motivation exercising. I'm hoping this group can help with accountability and get me on the right track. Thanks.4

Welcome new members, I'm glad you're a part of our team!
My name is Vertis and I'm a 5th grade ELA teacher in Washington state. I have been using MFP for sometime now but after a few personal issues, I ended up gaining back most of the weight I had lost. This group has really helped me get back on track and stay motivated. My current goal is to get out of the 200s for good.
GO TEAM FLAB-U-LESS!3 -

Hey there! Great question. The challenge doesn't officially begin until tomorrow. So, if you want to update your starting weight with today's, you can. If not, your first weeks weigh in will be October 6th. Just let me know what you would like to do!1 -
Hello! Back for October! I more month in my 30s and I'm not taking it well (kinda joking but kinda not). I need to be healthy for my daughter and I want to be more fit for me. Thanks to the team leaders!3

Hello everyone, I'm Lennie. I'm 5'2" and 59 years old. I've been married 23 years and have 2 kids, 26 and 30. My biggest challenge is traveling for work. I struggle with having to eat out every meal with co-workers and group dinners paid for by the company. I didn't really lose much in the last round but I'm not giving up. This is a journey. Let's do it team!2

Hi Team- my name is Jodi and I am glad to be back for another month. Every year that passes, I find it harder to control my weight and almost impossible to lose, so any loss is a huge success for me! Making healthy choices, being active and losing weight is a life long challenge for me- glad to have others to help us all stay motivated!2

Any way I can have my notifications from this feed go directly to my notifications in MyFitnessPal app? I would like to participate more and do the daily challenge even but it takes a long time to go to community and then find the feed. #techchallenged Great work @BEASTFIELD314 @AB0215 !1
