thanks for setting me straight on the weight. I couldn't find my last weigh in on here so went with my records.

I am trying to increase the water slowly - a cup more each day - I seem to spend most of my time running to the bathroom as it is. Got to give the body time to adjust to this change.1 -
I went so overboard yesterday. Was fine until the afternoon, but we started drinking and binge watching a show and... ugh.
So I'm recovering. I have to go to a mentor teacher orientation this morning and do the menu planning and grocery shopping for the week.
Maybe I should do burpees for pennance....
How do y'all recover when you go overboard?
Speaking from experience... tons and tons of water... and fruits/veggies. Get back on track as fast as possible.3 -

I took yoga classes for years. Especially when first starting out there's no replacement for hands on guidance from an experienced teacher. Since moving I've tried to practice at home but there just isn't the same energy flow. I like Yoga with Adrienne but I just can't get the same vibe at home from her videos. If you enjoy the classes, stick with them. You will likely get more enjoyment from them. Good luck!!!3 -

Food-good choices

yoga-day 4
yesterday was a mixed bag. I woke up early cleaned out the fridge, started straitening out the kitchen, made a big pot of pasta sauce with garlic, mushrooms and onions, made zoodles and did my yoga. I made a detox smoothie for breakfast with fresh OJ, seaweed, wild blueberries, spirulina, cilantro and barley extract. For lunch I looked at my empty fridge. Chose the 3/4 cup of orca beans and heated those up. In the same little jar after they were heated, I added mom's salsa, green onion, slivered spinach about 3/4 cup, red and orange chopped peppers and 1/4 avocado cubed. I shook the jar and thoroughly enjoyed it. The problem was the portion size. An hour later I was hungry again. Had an organic pink lady apple, 2 dates and almonds. At 4:30 I had raw pea pods and oil free hummus. It wasn't much but it killed my appetite. I was so disappointed cuz I was really looking forward to my favorite dinner. I stopped at the store on my way home from work and picked up a few groceries including some brown rice vegetable vegan sushi. Got home at 7:30 and sadly was still not hungry even though I really wanted that pasta. So we ate the "sushi" instead. Very satisfying and tasty but again I was hungry at 9:30pm. We were in the middle of playing a very competitive game of Fairynopoly with Wifey, Skylynn (9yr old granddaughter) and my mom. Now it was too late to eat. I think I was mentally really wanting that pasta and it made me antsy. I ready Cyndies message @cyndiessstuff and decided not to eat. It was the right decision but it was a weird food/hungry day. I normally eat a lot more at meals but both lunch and dinner were a little too light.
But that was yesterday. Today is a very exciting new day!

went to the gym today. still trying to love weight work.it is not coming naturally. I hate press ups. I checked my form by watching a you tube video and I have been doing it wrong. So hopefully doing out right will help. did park run as well did it in 31 21 about a minute off last week. so it is heading in the right direction.5 -

Another less than a half pound. Last week it made sense I didn’t track and ate chocolate.
This week i don’t know but I think it’s bc I started new workout routine- 4day split - higher weights, lower reps and I have been absolutely damaged lol I haven’t felt this sore ever. My body needs to adjust I guess so I’m sure I’m holding water. I’m fine with it. I know I will start dropping soon.
I also started 120oz a water a day for January so We will see.
@Mrsbell8well I love planners too! I have a workout logging planner and regular one for other things (appointments, to do and mood ) and I draw in them, do stickers lol it makes me more organized and all the pretty drawings are also form of relaxation at night once my kid is asleep. (However past week I’ve been going to bed with her 😂)

Support-I just wanted to mention how grateful I am for all the support that I receive on this site. I was very nervous to share that I am transitioning to raw. It made me laugh when Cyndie said "I love raw food"! Lol.
I have felt pretty alone on this crazy, healthy, clean eating way of life. Well now I have a good friend that is moving in this direction, my daughter and her boyfriend and their combined 3 kids are all jumping into a new way of eating and physical being healthy as well. Everyone now is getting into clean eating and eliminating a large batch of no no's. And of course focusing on a gigantic list of "Yes Yes's". And remember the story of my posting on MFP about my new way of life and looking for like minded individuals? As I mentioned I was bombarded and nastily attacked by everyone it seemed . Well one person read my post and recently contacted me that she too indeed is like minded. So now we are exchanging ideas and support.
Tonight we are having a family game night. Last night my family started exchanging ideas of what great healthy treats we could share tonight. Skylynn is making a raw vegan strawberry cheesecake from her new raw dessert cookbook. And my mom is starting a "diet" today.
Wow we really can influence those we love.
When we prepare healthy beautiful food it's hard not to look at that and find it appealing. I love that @Shirin_K made that beautiful healthful salad.
Cyndie and I always joke about how much we LOVE diet food. LOL.
In 1 year from now where will we be...and what about those around us? Will we have influenced them or will they have influenced us? Will we be moaning and popping buttons and slugging down another brewski, flopped on the couch like a row of spuds?
Or....will we be slender, healthy, toned and strong? Laughing with our family as we sign up for a Jingle Bell run, do a New Years Hike, take a walk on the promenade, ski the slopes, walk the snowy trails with our furry friends, watch our kids reach for a bowl of air popped corn, hummus and carrots, fresh berries and crisp apples???
It's a clean slate...Let's choose now. It's up to us to take one day at a time and be the beacon for optimal health for us and our loved ones.7 -

It was very cheap! $7.94 free shipping off Amazon. It’s small but I like pocket ones bc I carry them in purses

@Mrsbell8well and @lenka1 I've really been needing a planner to, but I went on Amazon and being as indecisive as I am, I stressed and panicked cause there were SO many to choose from, lol. So, I still don't have one.2

My Psychiatrist appointment went well. She increased my antidepressant because we figured it was doing a little good rather than any harm. The first night I took it a bit late so it made me sleepy all day the next day. She didn't add any anxiety meds yet because get this, we talked about how Im in this amazing MFP group and how everyone's doing yoga and she thought that was a perfect idea for ME to get started and be more apart of this group by trying the yoga. She said it can help with anxiety so, I have to give that a shot. For myself, you guys and her because I go back Feb. 27th and don't wanna go back and say I didn't even try...So can domeone tell me if Adrienne with Yoga has a 30nday beginners? Also we talked about how bad my social anxiety is and she wants me to try groups! As in. WITH other people...😫 I'm not so sure about it, but it could ve the new thing I need to do. Like the saying is, we all do things we don't wanna do...I looked up this word my friend said i might have and it makes sense...Anhendonia I think is the word and it seems to really deaxribe how I've been for awhile...I will bring it up to my Psych the next time I see her. Thanks everybody for being kind, caring and supportive. This is the best team! Tomorrow's weigh in day!7

Oh yeah and good thing I see my Dr. On the 8th, my BP before seeing Psych was 135/121. I felt horrible! So it's always hard understanding, and concentrating on everything she is saying when my ears are hot and ringing and my head is being a pain! Lol.2
