Well, another week with little movement on the scale. Clearly, I need to make some changes if I want to see the weight go down! I’m determined to see a loss next week. I will log and stay under calories every day and continue to get 10,000+ steps. I’m going to make time at night to read the Beck Diet Solution (finally). And get back to yoga. It should be easy to fit in again at night now that my husband will be busy with his MBA schoolwork at night = no temptation to watch TV with him! I’m going to end this month strong! (That’s my pep talk for myself haha!)

@Shirin_K we will take that as a maintain. I am doing the beck diet solution for the second time. I apparently forgot all the skills I had learnt. it is very helpful. make sure you do ALL the exercise. It is a very powerful way to change the way you think about weight loss. good job at not giving up. this is hard.1 -
I have my 2nd interview at 3pm today. It's a 2 hour drive away. Getting myself pumped up. More later.9

Well the scale only budged a little, it was down more the other day but oh well at least it's moving down. I have a hard time staying at 1300 calories. I have managed to workout almost every day including getting up at 4 today, go me. I have even been logging my food I did miss a day or two. But that's a big plus for me. Hopefully next week it moves down even more.

I spent all day yesterday working on my new Happy Planner. I’m good to go. Love it.
This morning I had a ruby grapefruit for breakfast. Snack was oatmeal w pear an walnuts. For some reason I didn’t care for it. Just ate 1/2. Interview over at 4. By then I was pretty hungry. Had a jar with me filled with fresh cubed papaya that I prepped this morning. Squeezed Lime juice on it and devoured it while driving home. Got home 6:30 dig yoga and 4500 more steps. Didn’t get dinner till 8.
Chia blue chips, homemade guacamole, mom’s salsa, dads pinto beans and a bowl of mixed greens with sweet peppers red cabbage and pumpkin seeds. Drizzled a little olive oil and apple cider vinegar. There is nothing quite so satisfying as delicious nutritious food on an empty stomach. Everything tastes sooooo delicious when your hungry. What a feast!

Wednesday I had too much to drink and eat. Felt awful about myself yesterday. Drank lots of water but didn't eat much. I just wasn't hungry.
Today is a new day, but right now I'm struggling to motivate myself. Gotta get my 2019 word going in my head like a manta and plow through this.

Yesterday, well... after work i got my hair colored. my regular girl is on vacation so i had someone else to it. iwas suppose to get color, cut and wax. but good grief, i was there at 5:15 and i didn't get home till 7:45. There was no way i was having that girl cut and wax. so all i got was color because she took soooooo long. then i got home and i was starving and ate to much. oh well. new day today.
@ljdanny hey thats almost a half pound. i found 1300 to restrictive. i went to 1350. i know its only 50 extra but it seems to make a difference. just remember slow and steady wins the race.
@Mrsbell8well i am sure you dazzled them with your intellect. any company would be lucky to have you in the position. crossing my fingers you get this. so you didn't care for the grapefruit or the oatmeal? i love grapefruit. and look at the new you go. you brought food for the trip home. and even tho your dinner was late, it sounds yummy.

@czvanut When you eat like crap you feel like crap. we are so hard on ourselves. don't beat yourself up. your learning a whole new way of life. use this as a learning experience. write down what you learned from it and create an emergency plan for when you are in the situation again. what will you do differently so you don't feel bad next time. you got this just continue on girl.6 -

Let's treat this weekend just like it was a weekday. Get up early, plan you food and exercise and get stuff done. The reason weekends are more difficult are numerous. You have free access to a frig. You don't have a schedule. You want to play. And on and on. This weekend lets make a commitment to one another that we will stay on task. You know we always feel better when we do. So who's with me? Lets make this the best weekend of 2019 for achieving our goals.11

Good morning all!
Still fighting my cold and it feels like I'm stuck in a holding pattern. Comeon and get better will ya! I haven't been eating the greatest since I'm just so tired and I still need to work and all. But this too shall pass and I'll get back on plan. On the plus side, I had the most amazing "off plan" soup yesterday. Actually it was the most amazing soup I've ever had in my life!

I am really pleased with the progress that I made this January, and it is very much thanks to the accountability and support from this wonderful team! It has been slow and steady, but I am really happy, particularly given that I cannot exercise much, except yoga and gentle walking. I have been busy with work these past few days, so forgot to check in yesterday and am still catching up on posts. @cydiesstuff, I am in for your weekend challenge! We are hosting some friends tomorrow night, so it will really be a challenge!6 -

I work today from 8:15-6:15. I wanted to share photos of my food day. I pack everything in a basket and haul it with me. I brought my yoga mat to work today hoping I can squeeze in my 13 minute session today. Also have my lime water in my A cup ready to go. I bought a Brita water pitcher for home and work. I keep my cup filled through out the day.
Todays food:
salad greens with red cabbage, sweet peppers and a dash of EVOO and ACV. Unsalted brown rice crackers,
avocado, organic hummus, organic red pear, mandarin, lime, vitamins, jar of ground flax seed for oatmeal, oatmeal with P.B., raspberries, raw coconut and almond milk, butternut fermented slaw, pinto beans, salsa.
I open the fridge in the morning and start grabbing. With this much food and working late I will probably skip dinner.
This morning I made oatmeal for everyone. Skylynn got to choose the toppings. As I was driving to work I was thinking about how good I feel with such great food packed for my day and I packed Skylynn's lunch as well. I realized that there is no one that loves me enough to make sure I am eating well balanced nourishing meals. There is no one that cares how many steps I take each day or whether or not I do my yoga for the day. There is no one that makes sure I get plenty of sleep each night. It's all up to me. I am the only one that can make these choices every day for me. I am the adult responsible for me. But isn't that also a marvelous thing that I can control my own well being? I think sometimes we want others to care for us to nurture us. But all that nurturing has to come from us. We are so worthy of being pampered and supremely loved. I love me enough to make sure my basic needs are met.
Molly and I are going to try for a movie tonight. She is planning on baking a cauliflower crust pizza from Oprah. I may have a small piece depending how I am feeling.

@cyndiesstuff That is frustrating about hair. Did you like the color? Did you ever get your new glasses?
@czvanut so glad your still with us. Keep posting. Maybe this is time to do an overhaul and figure out what you need? Maybe set some mini goals and knock them down. I like doing the star chart. Maybe 5 pounds loss equal shopping spree at thrift store? It is hard to get your mojo back but you can definitely do it!
@ljdanny glad the scale is going down. I don't like to be hungry either. When I was doing cico I was at 1500 calories and losing. I really admire your dedication to your work outs. You inspire me.
@shirin_k I am missing seeing your scale go down. I know your missing that too! lol. But I know you can do it. When I stalled in October I used that as a catalyst to revamp my whole diet system. I always say "start with what you know". What do you know you need to do that will make the biggest impact on your program. I think your right with the logging, steps and yoga. All that does something mentally for us as well. We are rooting for you!
Let's go team. February is coming up but January is not done yet. 6 more days staying on track can really set us up for a happy successful February.

Overall, it was a good day yesterday! Made time for yoga and cardio and read the first four chapters of the Beck Diet Solution.
@cyndiesstuff The book is interesting so far, I can relate to so much. Thanks for the recommendation to do all the exercises in it. I’m in for the weekend challenge, too! My weekends aren’t much different from the week for me since I stay at home with my daughter, but weekends do seem easier to “take off”. This weekend we were planing to go out to eat with the kids, but I think it will be better to skip and just take the temptation away. I need to make this a great weekend and week!
@Mrsbell8well Glad to hear your interview went well! And thanks for the support. I wish I were keeping up with you – you are doing so great! I will also join you for the 6 day string. 200 days is amazing!

Cool. Didn't even have to change the numbers... wth? Really really hoping for TOM to start this weekend cause I think that's part of it... I am feeling slightly under the weather so I don't think that helps either. Ughhhhhhhhhh.
Going bowling tonight for a friend's surprise birthday party so at least I can burn some calories there. Tomorrow is the yoga retreat! I'm so excited for that but also nervous... I've never done anything like it before and certainly not by myself. It'll be interesting... then the audition is on Sunday. Hoping I feel better then ughhhh

Crock pot meatloaf. First night paired with mashed potatoes, steamed cauliflower and steamed green beans (all cooked in the microwave) - 400 cals. So good. Topped the steamed veggies with garlic salt. Second night used leftover meatloaf to make yummy open faced sandwiches and paired with canned beans - 500 cals. Even more yummy!
Going to be working very long hours the next 4 days. Should be able to stay on track with the eating. Will be no time for exercise. Hope you all have a great weekend!

@Mrsbell8well your food always looks so delicious. and loving yourself is a very important aspect of everyones weight loss. I am crossing my fingers you get that job!! Luck!!! The color is what I always get, my hairdresser left her the numbers so yes, I love the color. and my gray is gone. ya! oh and I go pick up my glasses Saturday.
@Shirin_K I know that the book speaks to a lot of issues most people have. it is a good plan as long as you stick to it and work the steps. you need to put in the work!

Hello & TGIF!!! So happy the weekend is here!
I am feeling ok. I am going through early menopause and have not have my TOM in almost 4 months, well yesterday was the end of that. I got home from work and felt exhausted, that is why. I did not make it to the gym. My food was ok, I had some chocolate, but did not overdo it. I ate dinner and started my fast at 8:00. I was down about a pound more the other day, but I am still almost 3 down since last week. If I can get my butt to the gym tonight, and get my normal Saturday workout done, I should be able to get down another pound. Going back to my WW meeting tomorrow, I have not been in 3 weeks, I miss my WW peeps.
@cyndiesstuff I agree, we need to try to schedule the weekends better, but it is not always so easy. I have stuff going on, I will try to plan as best I can. I will get up early tomorrow, workout, go to my WW meeting, then I have dinner plans with my girlfriends. I am going to try to get a mani/pedi in as well, a little me time!
@Mrsbell8well good luck with your interview! That smoothie bowl looks amazing! Your food always looks & sounds healthy & delicious!

@cyndiesstuff I don’t really have a plan necessarily but I don’t really drink much when I don’t feel good plus I volunteered to drive since I have to leave my house super early tomorrow. Nothing like going to yoga in the a.m. and meditating on your regrets from the night before lol3

Guess who fell down the steps today and hit their tailbone hard?
This girl!!! I’m fine when walking slow (so am able to get my steps in at least even though it takes forever lol but I’m not a quitter )but can’t sit comfortably or lay on back or bend without a lot of pain ugh. So pissed. My food choices were not the best today, i am under calorie goals but high sodium and not enough protein and too much carbs. And some junk
I was just frustrated bc my workout didn’t happen and most likely won’t happen tomorrow unless I magically feel much better
I was down 2.5lbs since last Saturday but I bet tomorrow won’t show that bc of my crappy eating.
Anyway I hope everyone is having a better weekend love reading through post guys! such a nice group of people.9
