Long day at work yesterday. We skipped the movies and the pizza. My 2 frozen Oprah pizzas have dairy. Molly will eat them. Ay some point I will make my own. Couldn’t finish all the food I packed so I ate the hummus and crackers and kraut for dinner.
My daughter dropped Skylynn off. She is 17 days on a plant based diet. She is loving the food and the results. We’re talking about Skylynn’s diet as well. She eats mostly vegan when she is with us. She loves her vegetables.
It’s fascinating to think how our commitment can effect others when they see the clear benefits.

@twyla77 nice profile pic. Your doing great. How many pounds till your at goal? Do you have a target date.
@lenka1 I am so sorry to hear about your fall. You really need to be cautious as you heal. You may even want to consider a chiropractor. I’m praying for your speedy recovery.
@kirsten11872 I’m so glad your finding your way back on track. Good job! I know it’s not easy.
I’m happy to see you posting again.
@lennoncpa those 130’s are calling your name. February?

@DananaNanas I loved your gym picture. Wow a yoga day how fun! Good luck with all your weekend plans. Glad you have some relief at work.
@phoebe112476 your “diet” food looks pretty tasty! Thanks for posting.
@hope002 all those outdoor activities are paying off! Great job this month
@pacsnc6 the scale goes down! Nice job.
@cnydiesstuff I love grapefruits too. It was my oats that one day that were off. I used some presoaked dehydrated oats that I had experimented with. Didn’t work for me. Yesterday’s oats were delicious! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
@sleepymom5 it sure feels different without your daily posts. I will be glad when we have you back. You and your family are in my thoughts.

This is a long journey. The help and support of our teammates is so valuable. I’m sad that we as a group start out so eager each month then our numbers start to dwindle. It’s the end of the month again. I so appreciate everyone that is still in there posting. It can be a lonely journey with many temptations. I know this group is made up of kindred spirits. We each have our own path but we respect and support each other. This is why I am successful and will stay successful. It takes a non negotiable commitment to ourselves and our team.
    Thanks again team!

Morning all! Well cold is still hanging on but I did get a good night of sleep last night. Yesterday wasn’t a good food day but today will be different. I don’t have to make it through work, I can do as I please today and rest when I need to!

Ok the soup...absolutely delicious but so bad for you: Potbelly’s chicken pot pie. Ok first it has dairy in it and I should be dairy free. 2nd they put pieces of crust in the soup that tastes amazing. Yeah won’t be having it again soon but dang it’s good. Definitely a soup for when you are sick only!

Today is our last warm day here (18) then the bottom will drop out and we will be sitting in the negatives for a number of days, I have forgotten was -20 feels like! My poor car!

Hope everyone has an amazing Saturday!

Wow @kirsten11872 She’s back!!!! Great job Kirsten!

I need some input from planner people. I have 2 new planners that I absolutely love!!!
    cpveq4qtm9hs.jpeg
The bottom one is a Happy Planner classic. It’s about 8x10 maybe? Vertical planner. The second on top is about 5x6. I m loving the big one and have already set it up to meet all my needs. The small one is a horizontal planner. It is so crazy cute and I love it. I’m not sure what to use it for. I love the big one because the pages pull out easily so things can be rearranged. Plus I’m loving all the writing spaces. I write a lot of notes and lists. All my meals and fitness are in the big one. I thought about using the small one for work. If I get this promotion my hours will increase and I think my life would be easier in one big book but there could be confidential information for clients which makes more sense w the small one.
    Any suggestions?

What about keeping all your "words of wisdom" and promises to yourself in that one. You can look back once a month or every year to see how many you still follow.

Today, hockey arenas. Tomorrow, hockey arenas. Made progress on my Marie Kondo tidying! The donation truck came 3 times this month. My brother loves staging garage sales and wanted me to have one, but I wanted to pay it forward by donating. I am happy to report that I am on the last category of the Kondo book, which is sentimental items. So this is photos, old papers, any keepsakes. As she notes in the book, this category is last as it usually is the most emotional and hardest to do. Most of these items are in a closet in my home office. I am a bit scared as there are some emotional items, but am ready!

@nstephenson01 Glad you're back at it today and didn't give up on your weight loss goals! I agree, the summer bodies comment from @lenka1 is a motivating one! The scale can be so very frustrating and I know that feeling of trying to get your heart and head back in it - you will! Hopefully your day went well!

@lennoncpa You've done fabulous on your month goals! You should be proud of the habits you've changed. It's great you figured out how to get that water in too!

Today I went to a pound workout class. It was so much fun. I tried the videos on YouTube before but I really enjoyed the class. I plan on going again next week. It was a good workout. I also went to an Arbonne party today and bought some things they we're selling that are supposed to help with your gut. And they have some protein shakes. They also do a 28 day challenge so with the product so I said I would give it a try. Anything to help with my ibs and to see if it will help with my weight. If anyone has ever tried their products please feel free to give me your thoughts. I would appreciate them.

@Shirin_K and @nstephenson01 haha trust me I keep that one in mind too!

As crazy as it sounds summer is not that far away.

We are members of this outdoor pool in our town and their first official weekend is the memorial weekend which kind of is like our start of summer. That is 4 months away only! By then I want to look smoking hot lol (well or at least somewhat fit haha)

Aren’t we all happy we are working hard now? It’s enough time to lose decent amount til hot weather hits ;)

@lennoncpa I love your monthly goals strategy! My January goal was to complete the yoga with Adrienne challenge and I'm close to that finish line. I do need to be thinking about February. Your breathing goal sounds awesome.

@lenka1 Your progress pictures are amazing! Keep up the great work!

@czvanut your day with hubby sounds lovely. 6 pounds is very significant!!! Congrats. Imagine if you had gained 6 pounds? Those 6 pounds down is a celebration.
@nstephen01 great accomplishment with your exercise streak. No wonder your so hungry. Have you tried upping your salad/vegetables consumption? That really helps fill me up. Stay the course! You will reach your goal. How was your husbands dinner?
@pacsnc6 thanks for the planner input. I played with it some more last night. I think I will use the small one to track my work appointments and keep a work section in the big one for ideas, lists and notes. Plus I love steno pads. I will pick one up for work appointments.
@Cafelelia what a wonderful accomplishment. I bet your house looks so nice. It’s so much easier to function in an organized home. About 3 years ago I sorted my pics etc. I made a bag for each of my kids and divided pictures accordingly. I still have them but someday I will give them each their bag.
@lennoncpa great job on your monthly goals. I really love your idea of breathing in February.
@Shirin_K what’s on your Sunday agenda? Thanks for all your team support.
@ljdanny I hope you find some gut relief. You are always so active. I really admire your dedication to physical fitness. You always inspire me.
@twyla77 I think that’s a good goal. I plan on getting to 142 at 1 pound a week. Then adjusting to a slower pace to possibly lose another 10 over the next 4-6 months. You definitely want it to be something we can maintain and feel good at. Maintenance is a whole different creature. Congrats for all your accomplishments!!!
@lenka1 look at you cute little thing!!! Such a big difference. Your doing great!!! Thanks for posting pics. How’s the tailbone?
Have a fun lovely Sunday everyone!

What a great day yesterday. Woke early and got our day started. We went and picked up my glasses. I'm not sure about them because they are dark frames. But thats the new style and they didn't carry any frame-less ones. Then, we went to my rental and pulled the sump pump. We went and picked up Josh, my oldest son, and went to my mom and dads. Mackie stayed while we went to the chili festival. It was soooo cold. It was 8 degrees with a wind chill of -10 degrees. the ice sculptures we beautiful. the chili was delicious. There was 9 different restaurants that entered the competition. you got a little 2oz cup of chili from each restaurant and then you decided which one you liked best. lol all three of us picked the same one.

@Mrsbell8well It happens every month. People are commited and full of energy. Then it gets hard and it is not so easy any more. Thats when people find they don't have time. Everyone's life is busy. Every one finds the time for the things that are important to them. If this is important you will find a way to stick with it. We have many people on our team that are dedicated to this process. But even they sometimes find this overwhelming. I know sometimes i feel overwhelmed. i wouldn't be able to pick between the two. they are both really cute.

@lenka1 good job at keeping moving. and don't worry about being slow. its better then sitting on the couch. wowowo and look at you. you are so right, 20 lbs is a huge difference. you look amazing!!

@Zumba_Luvah yes!! bye bye pound. amazing!! your doing great. no snacks for 4 days is an awesome accomplishment. your creating new habits.

@carlsoda I love chicken pot pies. but your right.... oh so many delicious calories.

@kirsten11872 wowowow. kirsten is back and with a full head of steam. yes! that is great.

@czvanut ooooohhhhh 900 calories for one meal. good job on the substitution of the strawberries. they are very good for you and so is the 2 mile walk with the hubs! It is very hard to get rid of that all or nothing mentality. This is a process with many steps. and as long as you keep moving in the right direction, you will do fine.

@Shirin_K great check in. keep up the tough work.

@nstephenson01 Don't you give up on this nancy. the closer you get to goal the harder this is going to get. and your right for all the exercise that you get that small lunch won't cut it. maybe it is time to reassess your calories. maybe up them a little. omgosh and your having a heat wave! i love when it's 40 degrees in january. not here. it was -2 when i woke up this morning. lol

@Cafelelia i think we all have that one place we keep all that emotional memories. every once in a while i visit that closet and laugh and cry. good luck on your journey.

@lennoncpa sounds like you are doing great! love the way you pick a goal a month. maybe just take a month to perfect the 3 you have started and then for march pic a new one. i do like the breathing one tho.

@ljdanny hmmm never heard of either the pound class or the arbonne thing. let us know how it goes. i am always up for something new while you try to find your way.

@twyla77 great check in twyla. you have been doing really well. just think how much more healthy you are! good job.

Food-ate a nice lunch but accidentally ate 3 energy balls. They were so good!!! Skipped dinner in exchange.
    Water 4 glasses
    Exercise C25k 5/7/5
    Yoga day 26
    Steps 11,215

Worked in the morning. Feasted with Skylynn, took a nap, did my workouts, played in my planner, took Skylynn to buy discounted calendars for each of us...she got mystical unicorns, I got Fairies and mermaids..., taught her how to make air popped corn...and that was about it. Oh...I also cleaned the fridge last night.
Molly’s mom still struggling. She’s put a deposit on assisted living but is now asking for hospice. She’s miserable. Molly’s there this weekend and quite distraught. Her brother lives next door to mom and is insisting that she is just depressed and needs to try harder. Very intense situation. One day at a time.

I feel so much better getting a few good days strung together. My head is back in it and and I’m going to keep this going.

Today, I’m planning to get a few meals and snacks prepped for the week, do some cleaning, make time to do yoga and get my steps in. We have a snow storm coming today and then bitterly cold by l the middle of the week! So I’m thinking I should come up with a plan of fun activities for the kids if we are stuck inside most of the week.

    Let’s finish this weekend strong!
