Remember, the last step is patience, let the pressure release naturally after it cooks, 10-15 mins or so, it's worth it, trust me. Makes the meat so much more tender0 -
Hi, I'm Brittany and this is my 5th month doing BLC, so I guess I'm not a newbie anymore ☺️. I'm a 5 ft even, 31 yo wife, mom of two young boys, and jogging and weight training are my exercises of choice. My goals are:
-Workout at least 3 times per week
-Track all food daily
-Drink at least 60 oz of water
- Write down a positive thought or encouraging quote every morning to start the day off on a good note.
I have been contemplating tackling a couple of 5ks this year, but I want to work on consistency with the above goals first.

TODAY BEGINS ANOTHER MONTH OF WEIGHTLOSS CHALLENGE!
My duty as the Co-captain for this team is to keep everyone motivated as they continue this journey, as there will be ups and there will be downs. The victory will not always come from the scale but keep in mind other changes that happens to your body so as we start off this month Challenge let's take a look back at a few of NSVs (Non-Scale Victories) we had posted in January's Challenge. I want each of you to reflect back to this post when you're having a difficult time and BE ENCOURAGED:

"Last year I saw a beautiful coat at Target. It was deeply discounted. I loved it but it don't for me in the arms area well. I knew I was staring my journey that year so I wanted to lose enough weight sure the winter to wear it. Well today was that day! It fits perfectly in that area. Now the bottom is rather roomy! I love it!"

"I did have a fun NSV today. One of the reasons I decided to lose weight is because I couldn't keep up with my co-workers on a business trip in Oct. We had to walk everywhere and I was huffing and puffing trying to keep up. Well, today when I was was walking with one of my co-workers in the new building they asked ME to slow down. It made me feel really good."
