Wow it just erased my whole message here it goes again
I'm still having difficulties on this app but you ALL never cease to amaze me! You continue to spread positive energy and support that is awesome I've been struggling a lot lately and don't know how to quite get a handle on it 10 years ago I was 290 lbs and every time I get close to my goal of 180 I sabotage myself A) I can't believe after 10 years I finally reached my goal and I'm not much more happier now than I was then and not sure if 10 or 20 more pounds would make a difference! I must get an attitude adjustment the least I can do is give back just some of the positive energy that all of you continue to show
If it were not for you I would have given up a long time ago I would not even log in today until I exercised because we're holding ourselves accountable in this group Challenge and I must participate and do my part I can't just take take take and not give
so I'm a work in progress bear with me and I appreciate you more than you ever ever know total strangers who are holding my life in their hands and I thank you!!5 -

Was very happy to stick to plan for the holiday yesterday. I am also happy to be back to the routine today too. Physio is tomorrow. My leg is not perfect but it is feeling quite a bit better.
@phoebe112476 - Congratulations on the new weight decade! I knew that you would get there!
@holmesp603 - I think that you meant to post on the Workout Warriors thread, but I just have to say that your dedication, weight loss and honesty is impressive. Don’t give in to the self sabotage! You can do this!!
@sleepymom5 - Keep us posted on what your doctor says. Fingers crossed that he can figure it out.
@GingerPwr - Oh those carbs. As the weather gets colder, I find myself craving them sometimes and with no running, I cannot really justify any extra. Today is a new day and you can get back on track
@tryingain5 - Hope that everything is one with the furnace and that you don’t need an entire new one. These things always seem to happen when it is getting colder (and air conditioners break down in summer).4 -

Yesterday went ok, but it took all I had not to go to Wal-Mart and buy pretzels. I still owe my friend a bag of Pepperidge farms cheddar fish but I knew if I went there I would make poor choices. I get weighed tomorrow and do not know what it will be. I also weigh in on Thursday night at my pre diabetes class. They focus on fat and calories, not carbs and sugar.
I walked my friend's dog for the last time this morning for 30 minutes then I met with my trainer. We worked on core and legs which I need. Carrying my suitcase and stuff was not the best thing for my back. I am really surprised the prednisone is not doing a lot for my back pain. I am on a taper for 12 days. I am really hungry, but I am able to fall asleep. Trade offs.
It's good to be home, my cat missed me.3 -
Tuesday 10/15 check in
Food: logged and on track
Exercise: 30 minutes session at the gym with my trainer
Water: 56 oz
@Cafelelia I haven't heard back from the furnace guys yet but I know the tech was going to talk with the service manager and they were going to decide what would be best. It may be a few days or a week before I hear back from them. I've used this company many times and trust them so I"ll go with what they end up recommending.

I am pooped guys! I probably won't get on here until later tomorrow. I have an early doctor's appointment, a grooming appointment with Daisy and MK's counseling. I will check in when I can.5

Thanks. That's why I started posting it that way. Now, I just need to take all that information and use it to make the changes that are necessary.
Yes, I can do it. We can all do it! Whatever our personal goals are we can all meet them, it may not go exactly as we planned or it may take longer than we like but we can do it!2 -
@sleepymom5
You're welcome! Time for me to use those tips too! Have to sneak some fruits and veggies in!0 -

I must have been really tired yesterday-I forgot to put the @ in front of everyone's names for the weigh in reminder Lol! I wondered why it was looking so weird...
Not too bad yesterday. We did end up going to the bar for dinner so not on my plan but I had a salad and tried a small piece of flat bread and a mac and cheese ball. I also had 2 proseccos. I did get food shopping so I have food in the house finally. Today an early day out to see about this hip. I had to cancel Daisy's appointment today. There is just too much going on and the weather is supposed to be bad later. We are getting a lot of rain later.
@phoebe112476 Hooray! You are in the 150s! Love the new profile pic too!
@Cafelelia Nice job getting through the holiday and staying on plan. See, it can be done! Hope your physio goes well today!
@Barbb1557 I am sorry the prednisone isn't working for you. I was on prednisone for my hip and it only helped for a day or two. It is frustrating. You really are doing great, you are still moving forward with all that you have going on with your back. You should be proud of yourself!
@tryingagain5 Nice job yesterday! Thought of you and had an apple as a snack yesterday! Lol! I also had a salad with dinner. Better than I usually do!
@GingerPwr Not bad at all. Yes, new week, clean slate! You got this!!5 -
@sleepymom5
Thanks! Great job on your snack and dinner.
I had a salad and sandwich this morning after work. Now I'm headed for bed. I'll weigh in and post my weight later. Sleep first.😴3 -
Happy Wednesday everyone. I don’t know why but I seem to be more hungry than normal!! I did survive the other day after posting on this page. I can’t decide if I’m hungry because I need nutrition or just cravings4

@lennoncpa I am in the same mood about eating. Thank goodness there is a torrential downpour outside. I live 1/2 mile from two large grocery stores. I can generally pace my eating, but I am already eating calories reserved for dinner and it is early afternoon. Yikes!4 -
My daily checkin for yesterday didn't save

The baby is coming!! She has been in labor since early yesterday morning. I'm sitting at the hospital now. My son is having a panic attack so I wanted him to know I'm here. This place is packed. I didn't realize people sat around here to wait. I was home, went for a walk. Been back and forth from here making delivery of things they needed. Not sure what my weight will be like this week. Bought some new mug snacks. Should have checked the calories. Holy moly. Not buying those any more. Maybe when the time changes I'm hoping I will be able to get up early for my workout. Having a hard time with it now.5

Sorry for not checking in today. Have caught a cold
Hope everyone is doing well4 -
Wednesday 10/16 check in
Food: logged part of the day, didn't do well. Not sure exactly what my issue is. Guess just frustrated with how long I've had a weight issue(my whole life) and that I do well for a while and then end up gaining what I've lost and having to start over again. Being an emotional eater doesn't help with this.
I know what I'm supposed to do, just having trouble getting back to it. I haven't been getting enough sleep lately either, which is probably not helping with my emotional or physical health.
It's a new week so I know I just need to do it and I know I can!
Exercise: was supposed to be an intense session with my trainer but my back had other ideas. Didn't do anything to hurt it but having back issues today. Workout had to be modified, still 30 minutes but just very low key so I didn't aggravate the issue.
Water: 48 oz
Thanks for letting me vent and be negative today.5 -
Tuesday and Wednesday Check In
Food: On track
Water: A gallon both days
Exercise: 82 flights Tues. and 95 flights Wed.
Steps: 13038 Tues. and 12000 Wed.
@barbb1557 I try to stay away from the grocery store when I'm hungry too! That's the worst time to shop. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with the medication. I'll be thinking about you and hoping your pain lessens.
@cafelelia Great job sticking to plan on the holiday! Social gatherings are the hardest to stay on track. Honestly, if you can stay on track during a get together, you can do anything! lol
@sleepymom5 I hope your appointment went well and you're able to get some kind of hip relief soon.
