Exercise: 40 mins of Leslie Sansone (walk at home basically) combined with some strength exercises
Water: 6cups so far, 2 more before bedtime
Snacking: no and proud
Sleep: 9hr and some change!

My day had been going well. Calories in control and all set to go to Body Pump class (my Daughter is the teacher). Then I learned that my brother was coming over to say goodbye as he was leaving town. So quickly cooked a dinner for him. He has been having a tough time and leaving for new work prospects3 -

Short walk today. Was exhausted after a very busy day.
Daughters new bed arrived and needed assembly, but before that had to clean out her room including old bed removal. Daughter is a hoarder and does not cope well with change. With her mental condition, she was essentially unable to assist much.
Took 4 hours to empty and clean the room enough to assemble new queen size bed in place. Further 2 hours to clean up the clutter left from clearing out her room. House is now in a usable state (mostly).
The fourth mini-challenge is: Do 20 minutes of activity (walking, gym, swimming, housework, etc…)
This is the last of the UAC challenge principles that I report daily. The rest of the mini-challenges will not be direct UAC principles.
Activity is vital to losing weight. It is possible to lose weight without activity, but it is MUCH harder.
Activity helps increase quality of life. Also gets the brain working and helps with mood. Exercise is one of the most recommended treatments for depression.
Most of the weight you lose is exhaled. Fat, when burned (with oxygen), produces carbon dioxide (a lot) and water (a little), both of which are exhaled. (Exhalation has higher humidity than inhalation).
20 minutes is not a lot and most can fit it into a day.7 -

So Jan 7th day
Exercise? Yes I went to the gym, 23 mins of elliptical, 23 mins on the treadmill and 14 mins on a stationary bike. I don't even normally do a bike.
Calories? Yes

Sleep? Not great. 5 hours and 30 mins. I have got to work on that.
Now it's time to go out there and get it for Jan 8th. Sun is shining and I see a walk in my neighborhood happening very soon.4 -
Why didn't I think of this before??? I love having Greek Yogurt with berries in the morning, but on these cold mornings not as much. So I decided to microwave (1 min) my cup of fresh blueberries, then squish them up some. Added 6 oz of Fage FF Greek yogurt, it was delicious! Very satisfying, with a good amount of protein and not too many calories (170).4
