@annliz23 - I looked back at the posts and saw your weight posted. I am so sorry! Sunday was the day that I was at the hospital getting all of those tests, and I was quite out of it when I came home that evening. Sorry I missed that and it is now recorded!
It's ok I just was worried there was a cut off time but it's fine. Hope your results are ok.0 -
Got a walk in today but twisted my back so extremely painful so no exercise routines as just sitting is hurting but maybe that will stop me getting up for food so being positive. Hopefully everyone else is doing well.4

My main goal this week was to simply stop the "quarantine creep" so I'll take this small loss. Putting my efforts towards eating healthier and getting enough sleep as it seems to help my attitude and outlook. Keeping from snacking remains a challenge. Its raining today but otherwise our weather has been pretty nice so I've been able to work in the yard. Made a trip to the local nursery to get ideas for my garden and picked up a couple of veggie plants but its too early to start planting yet. They're hanging out in the greenhouse keeping warm. I can't wait to start gardening!!
@annliz23 oh ouch... hope you feel better soon. I slipped on some ice the other day and in an effort to not fall tweaked my back. I've been nursing it the past few days. My neighbor who has the 5 poodles just got another puppy who is so cute. She's a beautiful liver brown color. Now I have a bad case of puppy fever.3 -
I am doing well this week after my second treatment. Have lost a little bit of weight but the doctor says I should try to maintain, I guess they'd rather not see too much change during this process. And I have not been sick at all, have an improved appetite actually.
Keep up your spirits everyone during this long lock down. Stay healthy and safe.7 -
@Cafelelia
At least your son is finding some humor in the midst of everything. I hope you get your results soon.
It sure was nice. Everyone was pleasantly surprised to get the bonus. It should show up in our bank account tomorrow. (we get paid on Friday)
The company I work for has about 5,000 employees so I think the company itself will be ok, just not all the individuals that work there based on the wording of the email. They still have orders coming in just not as many as normal because so many places are shut down. I'm grateful to even still have a job and will take it day by day for anything else that may happen.
The email also talked about other things that the company did to help out. They donated several ovens to a local hospital so they can sanitize their PPE and apparently have been making hand sanitizer. There was a couple other things too but now I can't remember what they were.2 -
Hi everyone, I just got my test result back and I do not have the virus. My doctor says that I likely have a regular cold virus that is making me feel this way. She told me to keep isolating until I feel better plus 48 hours as there are rare cases of false negatives with these tests. I am relieved even more for my family than for me. I still don’t have the chest pains today, just a stuffy nose. I really hope that I feel better soon so I can get back to my “normal” life in lock down.
@tryingagain5 - That is nice that your company is pitching in where it can. I know that anything can happen, and just hope for the best.
@nstepheonson01 - Way to go stopping the quarantine15! It will be really nice to do some gardening, especially this year.
@annliz23 - I so sorry that you hurt your back and hope that you feel better soon!
@ljdanny - Nice maintain!
@GingerPwr - Nice loss!5 -
Checking in, I am definitely not feeling well. Latest theory is that my iron is low, it would explain all the symptoms I am getting. I was low in iron for years when I was vegetarian and I stopped eating most meat again about 6 months ago, but I was hopeful that the amount of vegetables and legumes etc that I eat would keep my iron okay. I don't think we're doing blood tests under this level of lockdown but I will contact my doctor for his opinion.
@Cafelelia happy to hear your test result was negative, I do hope you feel better soon.
@tryingagain5 Nice to get your bonus, and I think many people are grateful to have a job right now. My company has about 300 employees but reduction in force will effect about 50 for now. It's being global that hurts with manufacturing and customers overseas, plus shipping being a major factor and everywhere and everything shut down and out of our control.

Thursday 4/23
Food: good
Water: 48 oz
Exercise: 60 minute walk
I don't work tonight. There's not enough work for us to do. 1st shift had a few people work. 2nd didn't work today either.
The plan is for us to go back on Sunday and then go from there.
I slept a few hours after work and then went to the grocery store that's near my house. I had to get something from the pharmacy there and picked up some groceries. It was interesting with some people in masks and others not and some with masks and gloves. They had arrows on the floor for one way traffic down the aisles. It's been over a month since I've been to the store. I still have items in my pantry and freezer but really wanted some other things to eat.2 -
Hello WeightNoMore!
It is time to start to build up our teams a bit in preparation for the May challenge. F2F needs new members! Your team is in pretty good shape, but we hope you can help recruit some new challengers for both yours and some of the other teams as well. Spread the word on message boards, among your non-MFP friends, and wherever you can.
The May registration is at https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10793488/f2f-may-2020-registration/p1?new=1
It is also good to suggest that people look around our general site and the teams.
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/114605-fat-2-fit-weight-loss-challenge-and-support-group
If they have a team preference, they should say so on the registration thread.
Thanks for you help! You all are amazing2 -
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx
I hope you will feel better soon.
I am extremely grateful for getting the bonus and for still having a job. I know quite a few people who are either laid off or underemployed.
My company is global too. Yes, so much out of our control. Before all of this happened we were really busy and the least amount of hours I got was 42. Now it's a day by day thing.2 -
@Cafelelia
I am glad that your test was negative.
It was nice that my company did what they could to help.
Yes, anything can happen. I'm just going to continue to be a good employee and do the best I can and hope for the best.1 -
@Cafelelia So glad you don't have the virus! Hope you'll be feeling better soon.
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx So sorry you're run down! Hope you find some answers.
Ate well today. Did a walking video and now I'm winding down for the night.2 -

Hello everyone. As you can see by my weigh in, I haven't been doing that great with my weight. I just have been so busy since Jim has gotten home and when I did have time for myself, I was either exhausted or wanted to spend time with him. He is doing so much better. Each day he can do more for himself. Yesterday he went up the stairs with the OT to our room so last night he was able to go out and sleep in our bed. He wasn't sleeping well in the hospital bed so this was great. We are also going to attempt to shower today too. We have a walk in shower off of MK's room and have a shower chair. He is back to working but gets tired easily. He has been really good about not pushing too hard with things. I thought he would be overdoing it so I am happy about that.
As for me, between the treats, pasta meals and not exercising, my weight is up. I am going to try to concentrate on getting water in and exercising for until Monday. Not that I am going to go overboard eating but I am usually good with the water and exercise and I just want to get back into a routine. Then I am going to start getting back to planning meals and logging. One step and one day at a time.
On a side note, our community did a car parade for Jim last Sunday. It was over 100 cars and 10 min long! Jim has been a long time football coach plus he grew up in the town we live in so he is really loved. We were even on the local news. Normally I would decline the news but I would have loved to see something like this while Jim was in the hospital. I was looking to see how ventilated patients do after they are discharged from the hospital. Hopefully, it gave some hope to someone.
I do have a lot to catch up on but I am going to ease back into everything. Hopefully I can start by posting each day, then I am going to catch up with all of you. I also can't thank @cafeleia enough for keeping things going while she isn't feeling well herself. I am lucky to be captain with her! xoxo9 -
@sleepymom5 so wonderful to hear Jim continues to improve. Take good care of yourself also. Hugs Pam xoxo2

Sorry I am really behind on everyones posts. @hope002 your getting so skinny! My daughter is following more of a plan similar to yours and getting great results.
@gingerpwr I have not seen your weigh in posts in a while so I was shocked to see how much you have lost! I am so happy for you. That is the smallest I can recall seeing you post for your weight.
@sleepymom5 I am so happy Jim is doing better. putting that in to context it is more important than anything else right now. Keep doing one day at a time. Hang in there hugs!!!
@Cafelelia so glad you tested negative. I know you have been struggling for awhile. Hope your doing better.
Has anyone heard how Teresa is doing?
I have done the IF for 3 days. First day 14 and 16 the last 2 using the life app. I get home from work, eat dinner and maybe a treat then hit the app button to start the clock. It makes a big difference once that timer starts. All snacks are over. I have still been eating quite a bit and even had a gin and tonic last night. My weight keeps going down which thrills me since my pants were definitely feeling snug when I hit a very high weight of 152.4. I know people are kind and supportive but I don't want to see myself climbing back up that difficult challenge of trying to lose it again. I was back down to 148.4 this morning. Much much better. I don't know what I need to do at this time but for this week I am really comfortable doing the IF 16:8. I am doing a range between 11am-7pm.
I was really excited to be doing check ins daily with my daughter but I don't think that's going to work out. There's too much of a competitive energy that she doesn't need from her mom. I think it makes her feel like she is being judged. She hit one day that she weighed less than me then I went back down. For now I will just support her and check in daily with you all here.
Getting ready for another round of hideous long days next week. Trying to relax as much as possible until then.3 -

Friday 4/24
Food:over
Water: 80 oz
Exercise: 30 minutes low intensity, 30 minutes medium intensity, 45 minute walk
I didn't do a lot with my day. Did a load of laundry, spent quite a while on the phone with a few people and texted a couple of others. Walked with my neighbor and saw another neighbor with his dog. We quite often see them, although we're usually going in the opposite direction. He has a golden retriever that is the most well behaved dog I've ever seen. He'll give her the command to go say hi and Lady will come running as fast as she can and she has the biggest smile on her face. It is really adorable!2 -
@Fi45 please don't give up! We're here to support each other through all kinds of ups and downs, and if you are feeling down or out of control, stay with us!
@Mrsbell8well Hey!! Yeah that's the lowest I've been in years. Trying to reach 135.
@KUMEcyclingteam I like the new look!!
Pretty good on food today, but no exercise. Probably should've done that.1 -

Friday 4/24
Food: followed plan
Water: 64 oz
Exercise: 30 minutes stationary bike, PT, Stretching and strength
Good day yesterday. I made a plan and stuck with it. Today I will do the same. I am able to get on the computer because now that Jim is back in our bed, he sleeps in which is good. I am going to check on him when I am done here and if he isn't ready to get up, I am going to workout. Today we are getting together for an early dinner outside. Someone sent a honey baked ham dinner with all of the fixings AND 2 desserts. I am going to have containers so everyone can take the left overs home and we can throw out the desserts and fattening sides after. We are eating early because we want to make sure the temp is warm enough. We have plenty of room to spread out. It is weird not hugging but it is still nice to be together. We are still getting meals but not as many and the treats have stopped so I am happy about that. I seemed to be the only one eating them. Today, besides dinner, I plan to be like yesterday.
I am going to go back and read all that I missed soon. I am taking one step at a time right now.
@Fi45 Please stay! This is exactly when you need to stay with us.
@1theresamcvean Praying for you. Hope you are feeling better soon. Hugs!
@Cafelelia I am just going to keep saying thank you for all you do, hopefully I can start picking up a bit more very soon.
@nstephenson01 Thank you! Hugs!
@hope002 Another awesome loss! Wtg!
@Mrsbell8well Glad to see things are going well for you. When I do IF I feel the same way, for some reason when I hit that timer it is easier not to snack for me. Good luck. Enjoy your weekends, I am sure with everything going on, work is super busy. One of the first things Jim was worried about was getting to the bank (he had his partner go for him).
@srw32, @lennoncpa ,@brown6267 Nice losses ladies!!
@KUMEcyclingteam I am glad your Mom is doing better. I like the beard trimmed up but I don't think that accounts for your weight loss this week Lol!
@tryingagain5 You always seem to do so well with your exercise. You have such a dog friendly neighborhood too! I love hearing all the dog stories!
@GingerPwr Whoo hoo! That is awesome!! You got this!4 -

Week 3
Pw- 175.8
Cw- 175
I officially hit my mfp goal of 175 (during TOM time too!) That's 26.8 pounds lost since October. I just set a new goal of 165 but honestly I'm good where I'm at. So whatever comes off from this point forward, that's just a plus. I mean I've lost all this weight without even really trying. All I did was watch my calorie intake. No exercise besides my normal everyday cleaning and playing outside with my kids and pups.
