Today was pretty successful-stayed 100% on plan for the day. 33g carbs -13g fiber brought me to a whopping 20g carbs today! I haven't decided if I am taking leftovers for lunch tomorrow, or if I am making a salad. I'll see what I feel like having in the morning! I'm headed to bed to read for a little while and then going to sleep early.

    Tomorrow's goals:
    - 19,000 steps

    - Bike 20-30min after work (too hot to go out)

I’ll third that notion. Had a fun, but not the healthiest weekend. And I am ready to get back at it.
110 degree heat index here. That should be a fun walk later

Yesterday was a good day!! It had been a week since I went for a walk, so it felt good to get back out there!! I had been doing other types of exercises on the other days last week, except for the weekend, so it wasn't like I was doing nothing, but walking is what's going to get me there!!

I ended up not running this morning... I am kind of disappointed about that, but I have nobody to blame but myself. I did do a rough meal plan by searching keto recipes, and planned out my shopping list pretty well. Ended up getting all but two items.

For the most part I tried to ease myself into keto, but I knew I wouldn't reach the goal with a pre-planned sweet treat-chocolate delight that my mom made yesterday. For dinner we grilled outside, pork chops with veggie(asparagus, red onion, green/red bell peppers) packets. It was delicious with the marinade I made for the pork. I am excited to try new recipes that I have printed out!

Sorry I disappeared yesterday. My computer crashed right in the middle of a work assignment (thank goodness work was saved on the cloud), and looks like it is history this time. I am on one of my husband's laptops now and back in business. I will start recording everything again today, and look for some form of indoor exercise as I can't handle the heat/humidity.

    I recommend youtube videos.
    The Fitness Marshall
    Blogilates
    Joanna Soh
    Yoga with Adriene
    Fightmaster Yoga

Those are a few that I like to pick from. But there are so many fitness channels/videos to check out.

I cannot handle heat/humidity either. When I looked at the temp around 6pm it was like 97 heat index of 102. That is too much for me.

@richmondwriter that's a bummer! At least you are able to use your husband's! I am doing indoor workouts now as well because the heat/humidity is so rough!!! Stay cool!!!

I am sorry. I have been traveling and was off the grid and diet for a few days. Decided to move to CT for a couple months. Living with the parents. I got on their scale and it says 145. Since I know I haven’t lost 80lbs in one week, I am going to assume it’s broken. I am back on the diet today and will try finding a working scale by the end of the week. I think coming to CT was a good move for me. My parents have a backyard, a lake to swim in, and hiking trails up the street.

Keep up the good work everyone!

I was really sore today and was trying to give myself excuses not to exercise. Not exercising comes with its own set of problems as well. So here is what I did...

Thank you so much, Brandi! I'll try one of these out tonight. I will share these with my daughters as well, as I know they are looking for some workouts. Heat index of 102 is miserable!

@brandi_84, thanks for sharing, Brandi! It's easy to dismiss exercise for any number of "reasons", but it is so much harder to get back into it once we let it slide! Yoga is a great alternative for when we are a little sore! I know I have to figure something else out in the short term myself; The shoes I bought for my fitness restart journey on April 1st have given up the ghost! I have worn them so much that the heels are wearing, and the one is giving me a blister today after my really long walk.
