Supper tonight was a bit of a disaster...Nothing but treats. Soup sits ignored in the fridge.
Thank goodness tomorrow is another day.

Poor soup doesn't feel the love0
-
I got even worse today when I flushed it 😳1
-
But there’s a whole new batch of green soup to love 💚3

You're lucky they took out the disagree button!!!!! But Glad to hear that green is the new red!2

Sometimes things just don't work as planned1

What happened?0

I didn’t eat the red soup on time 🙂
I can blame it on my housemates - because he’s not here to defend himself 🙂
I took out enough soup and brothybeans for us both to eat over a few days and then he didn’t eat any 😳 and I couldn’t make up for his lack of eating.
I was relying on a crystal ball that was not plugged in 🙂3 -
Evil room-mate! So what's my excuse for the wasted red-beats?1
-
Too much food and not enough time? Or physical capacity?0
-
Both, Yooly. Blame my house-mate, PAV. He should have helped you out with the red-beets!!!!

Supper tonight was a Jalapeno-Asiago bagel from Tim Horton's, toasted with plain cream cheese and ... an ice cream cone from MacDonalds. Summer is back here this week - and I was out and about with friends so dinner took a more exciting turn (lol - living it right up there
) Green soup maybe for a midnight snack??? lol

That bagel and cream cheese sounds wonderful. Lately I’ve been craving carbs which I usually avoid. Maybe it’s time for some bread?1

So in the eating not very healthy but convenient category, start 300g to 500g (59 Cal per 100g) mixed veg in the microwave, get one bowl of 270Cal instant pho (70g) and prepare per directions except cut rice noodle pack in two length wise and use only half in this bowl.
Now, here's the super wasteful part and exponential increase in sodium, remove and donate to friends the noodles from a nongshim bowl of kimchi flavor soup and make the remainder into a flavorful second rice noodle soup using the other half of the nice noodles.
At eating time, decide whether to eat each soup separately together with half the vegetables, or combine everything in one bowl.
It's in the 550 Cal category2 -
Sounds like two very intensely flavoured bowls!!
And you have inspired me to check the calorie count for my dinner…0 -
OK not horrible - not great but not horrible. Bagel 320 + cream cheese 120 + cone 200 = 640. Round that up to 700 even 800 for safety. Manageable on a maintenance day. I’m sorry, Yooly. I get away with much more than you.0

Oh to be taller. Or at least to stop shrinking!!1
-
Cough Cough Cough
McDonald's vanilla cone, Canada, official nutritional info: 147g and 240 Cal.
Unofficial PAV sampling in the lower mainland confirms safer logging in the 300 to 320 range.
But still worth it and within the limits Laurie is talking about!2 -
hence my rounding up to 8002

Stand tall Yooly!
In spite of any shrinking
