    Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday!

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    Steps for 5/17 10,408

    Not a lot going on here... have been 'stepping' up my step game a bit when the weather cooperates. I still have not set foot back in the gym (it gets tougher the longer I wait!!)

    This seems to be my slow loss week... I tend to alternate weeks of higher losses and lower losses.

    @lindamtuck2018 - I am so glad that you finally have some answers. I hope there is a good solution to your nerve problem so that you can do all the things that you used to be able to do pain free.

    Good morning.

    Thanks everybody for the well-wishes! Things are getting better - my best friend and I have been having a lot of good, productive talks lately, which is helping a lot. Not to mention my therapist is also helping. Things are (hopefully) on a good, positive trajectory.

    The scale is driving me nuts - it’s not going the way that I want. I have a lot more work to do. I’m afraid it’s going to be up quite a bit this weekend at weigh-in. I’m trying to up my steps, though, and not be so hard on myself - but that is very difficult for me. Now that things are starting to settle down at work, (and at home), I have more time to just focus on my goals.

    You all are the best. I really appreciate all the support! ❤️

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 : I know I missed 5/15, but I’ll still post what I have. Sorry about that!

    Blood work is in... 😬🧐😋

    I have some questions... Need to follow up with a Doctor for sure, if they don't get a hold of me first.

    Possible signs of some Anemia going on? Maybe in relation to my general feeling of fatigue that day? No Idea.

    Blood sugar as I suspected tested good... But I'm pretty confident it is an inaccurate picture of what's going on with me, as most days I test much higher than that.

    Urate levels were elevated that morning, which explains the discomfort in my foot that day... Probably need to up the dosage of Allopurinol to 200mg per day.

    And the bright spot of the test...

    Cardio Vesicular Disease Appears to be very low.... LDL HDL Cholesterol and the whole shooting match appears to be at "Optimal levels" for the most part. So given my situation/size and the fact I was smoking 3.5 weeks ago. My Ticker seems to be strong like bull.

    Keto is not the heart enemy that some give it credit for. 👍😆

    Low Creatinine levels are a question mark... Low levels might suggest my kidneys are doing a real good job of excreting it through my urine? They may want to do a follow up Urine test to investigate further?

    If anyone has any insights or thoughts, please feel free to chime in! 🙂

    LTD- 79.8lb

    Ugh I am frustrated, but it's ok. IDK why I have been floating around the same weight for the last 2 months. I understand that I was undereating a bit at the beginning but.... that should've figured itself out by now.

    I have to get cracking on with my studying so can't read and comment right now, but I will, i swear <3

    Incredible walk AND before 6AM! That's some intense program you have, love the schedule. Anemia, is really common and yes, it does result in fatigue. What's the plan going to be?

    @lmf1012
    Another amazing step day AND increasing the amount of steps!

    @lindamtuck2018
    Congrats on all four checks! So glad that they know what has been causing the pain, what a relief. No to get you all better and take away that pain.

    @red1185
    I'm so glad things are getting better between your BF and yourself, and that the therapist is helping the process along. It's good to have that outside perspective. I hope you're proud of what you said, "I'm trying to up my steps and not be so hard on myself". Weight fluctuates, the scale needs to be put in the corner (bad scale!). Keep doing what needs to get done, you got this!

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    Nooo, the migraine is still there? That's terrible. Rest up. Feel better.

    @Tazaria87
    I'm so very sorry. I know how terrible that is, you both were together for so long and shared so much. Take time to grieve and know that you gave her a wonderful life. You will smash that sugar craving. You will do this. We are here for you.

    @rlaskey2
    Terrific step day!

    Congratulations to our TOP THREE @Bluetail6 @littleflutterby @lmf1012

    Bike- 30 minutes, 8 miles ✅
    Steps- 10,000 ✅
    Seltzer- 8 cups 👎 only five cups
    Tracked everything ate and drank ✅
    Under calorie budget ✅

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    Bike 30 minutes, 8 miles, moderate effort
    Steps 11,600 - not as high as yesterday, or the day before that, but I hit my goal

    This evening, my husband and son joined my daughter and I for our after dinner walk. It was unusually windy out, the kids looked like they would fly away; this resulted in a really, really short walk. The wind was a bit much for them. We came home and while the three of them had dessert, I went for another quick walk - with a goal of at least 11,000 steps (I didn't want to stay out too late, and miss putting them to bed, although the wind felt good to me).

    I really enjoy both the walks with my daughter (and family - when the four of us go together) and the ones alone. As a result of the pandemic, I no longer get to walk with friends, so I've been listening to We Only Look Thin podcasts (https://www.weonlylookthin.com/episode-01-the-introductioning/). They chat about their weight loss journey, give tips about what has worked and are hilariously entertaining. It helps pass the time, and I find myself walking a bit farther along so I can finish an episode.

    Do you have any podcast recommendations?

    Congratulations on hitting all FIVE of your daily goals! Congratulations to your son for moving out of 8th grade - woo hoo!!! That's an awesome plan. You are SO much stronger than I am, I'd probably get at least a small cup of something. It's too bad they don't serve Halo Top ice cream. Mmmmm.

    @littleflutterby
    Congratulations on your loss! You are almost at EIGHTY pounds lost, burned, shredded. I'm so happy for you, that's an amazing accomplishment. I'm not sure if you're in the same situation as my BIL (brother-in-law), when he started WW, he wasn't consuming enough calories and he was only losing half a pound a week. When he started eating closer to his full allowance of calories, the weight started coming off. Meanwhile, EIGHTY POUNDS (mic drop).

    Hi y'all! Thanks @Megan_smartiepants1970 ! I'm Laura, from southern Florida. I'm about halfway through my weight loss journey, with roughly 55 pounds left to lose to get to a healthy weight.

    For a bit of background, I've gone down this path before (not quite this much to lose though) but, while I was a healthy weight when I got pregnant (at 41!) I gained a ton during and even after the pregnancy. Keto worked for me before, so that's what I've been doing this time as well.

    I'm an avid scuba diver. Fat floats, so one of my goals is to only need 2lbs of lead to dive again.

    I'm excited to join the team, and look forward to getting to know and continuing this journey with you folks 😊

    Welcome to our very talkative group .... I hope you will like it here .... Happy to have you :) Looking forward to getting back on Keto (just had my 2nd hernia surgery) Let me know if you want to be added to our step challenge and if you do please let me know what your step # will be ...Thanks :)

    I typed a very long reply to most but my daughter interrupted me and it was gone when I returned my focus to my phone. 😡

    @Poobah1972 - I don’t recognize the Canadian reference ranges but your A1C is good a a measure of the past 3 months. When were these labs drawn. If it were recent a new A1C might not reveal what is going on just yet. Keep testing the you fasting BG and bring to log to your doctor’s appointment.

    @Tazaria87 - I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved kitty.

    @Aqualang26 - welcome

    @Bluetail6 @littleflutterby and @lmf1012 - congratulations on being our biggest losers last week

    @ everyone else - imagine something inspiring or supportive from me and accept my apologies for losing my post
