Oh wow, I need one of those! It will keep me from overindulging on certain foods! Amazon didn't have anything like that! They had some with six different areas, each a different size, but they are expensive! I guess I will just have to eyeball it! heeheehee!
I get to see Connie pretty much every day over on the other thread and am so happy to hear that Bill is enjoying his new home and being able to get out more!
Marilyn - I'm doing a happy dance (in my heart) for you. Wow, you are doing an awesome job with the weight loss! I did pretty well this week, but keep forgetting to get on the scale! We're cheering for you to reach that 220 by the end of the year! I've cut down some on my carbs, but need to do so a bit more. I need the carbs in the fruit and what veggies I do eat, but not the breads. I have more oat than I do wheat, which is a good thing, it digests easier.
I think my problem with Athena, Bren, is that Mom's account is still on there and I can't get around it. I can't get in to change it either, I don't have her information any more! It's only for the results of the tests and I can get lab results directly from the lab that they use and I can get results from my NP's office if I ask for it. Last time I asked I had it later that same day. Because I asked near closing time on Friday I won't get it until at least Monday afternoon or Tuesday sometime.
I hope you have a beautiful weekend and a wonderful time of worship tomorrow on Lord's Day. Love you

I joke about it being my to-go plate. I'd leave the rolls off and do pumpkin pie. I saw another thing on my FB page, using tin foil muffin pans for leftovers/take homes. That would work well too.
I've had those veggie trays probably 3-4 times in my life and always gave them away because they were too big for the fridge and I can waste my produce without containers just as well.
I got my elastic bed skirt and new vacuum in yesterday. I had already ordered the vacuum before I figured out my old one was clogged and that's why it was spitting and fuming at me and not cleaning! I decided to go ahead and accept my new one....as one of several "unnecessary" gifts....and just enjoy using it. I'll wait until my last bug guy visit this next week, to put the bed skirt on. Then I'll get my comforter out and do my bed up proper like.
Yesterday after taking trash to the dumpster, a guy was parked in my spot, moving things in...so I pushed myself to go to the bank for my mad money, stopped to get gas and had to do the walk in to pay...I admit...I have driven away once rather than hike inside....The timing of my return was perfect as he was preparing to drive away as I came home.
So I managed to mark off 5 things on my to do list...dealing with the dishwasher was two, as I was in a lot of pain...unloading, then reloading/run. I was quite weak from my days down. I hope to feel much better today and get more done.
I had a different patient portal thing at one time and occasionally that still pops up but all my Doctors are on the same set up now as the whole system is Hendricks. They even bought out the other hospital. You've got things covered so it's all good.
I got up at 3...will put coffee on, check mail and see where I can "go" today. Be blessed today!0 -
I finally did get into Athena and it said I didn't have any results - go figure! I have no idea what that e-mail about having results was about! I didn't think the bone density results would be back that quickly though, so it's not a great disappointment. I sent a note to my NP asking that the results be put on my patient portal so hopefully they will do that. I can look things up better when I have the stuff in front of me. She also knows that I like to do research on the things wrong with me, she even told me to do some research on something that we'd talked about since I enjoyed it so much - hmmm, I would rather she do the research! But she probably has a hundred other patients that she cares for and I'm just one of the bunch!
Love y'all and am praying for you.0 -
I did get my cardiologist appt. done, praise God....and I did pray for much less pain with the torture tool...the BP cuff. I was in too much pain to go do lab work so will get that done in the morning, before my Endo appt. I had not seen him in over two years! LOL....I saw the NP the last 3 times I was in there. I love this little, cheerful blessing of a guy. My weight there was 238.4....yay. Back down from 242.
He said my BP is not good at all....has switched my meds from Lisinopril to something new. I hope to get it tomorrow, as I am out of the Lisinopril.
He recommended getting one of the desk bike things for exercise so have ordered one...and a vase for my lovely holiday flowers I got for my table. I'm to return in 3 months which put me at Feb. 27th and I told the receptionist if it was icy, I'd not get out so we went for early March. I can do that!
My bug guy came yesterday and we will do one more follow up as he found headed for dead babies and thinks the rolling cart at the end of my bed may need to go. He treated it once more, I cleaned it this morning, replaced the years old shelf liner and am hoping it can be saved. I'll comply...if I need to let it go....and get another one as I do use it. He moved the bed back towards the wall...yip, yip! Left about 4 inches for the placement of a headboard I want to get.
Here's my flowers...I got two stalks or whatever we call them...plumb purty....
