    Oh mine CAN pull.
    She does UNDERSTAND "no pulling".
    Implementation is subject to squirrels!

So if you have one of those sleds you stand on - it will be easier for the knees??? :)

I may do some stretching today or just upper body. This weekend I did a LOT of walking and my legs have had it. I don't want to aggravate the tendonitis in the ankles or reinjure my calf. So no HIIT or indoor walking today!

Smart plan Athijade. Upper body is important too - especially when losing weight. It will help those jiggly upper arms a bit - though it doesn't seem elimination is possible.

Gym tomorrow at 6am. Then popping in next door at the clinic for lab work. If I have to be fasting, might as well keep busy for an hour and a half. And I’ll have earned some extra breakfast and lots of coffee. ☕️

You are a force to be reckoned with, Yooly!
I just finished my rowing for the day. Man I didn't want to do it today. But I wanted the chocolatey collagen supplement and clementine I get afterwards so I did it :) Has been one of those days. I'm tickled that my calories are not out of line because it was a tough go.

Hope all the results are positive, Yooly.

Gym this morning for an hour and a half. The Muzak was blessedly not working. Because who need to be blasted with heavy metal or rap at 5:30 am. But there were several newbies who insisted on staring at their phones while parking their keesters on equipment I want to use. 🙄

Seriously? Wow! You would think that at that time there would be more work and less play!

The gym newbies usual come in pairs hoping to lose weight but basically lose interest first. They tend to be bored and only there as support for a friend. They have invested serious money in coordinated workout clothes too.
If not that, then they are looking for a hookup before their work day starts. But at that hour it’s only old guys and girls or very serious body builder types who can’t be bothered.

Back to the gym tomorrow morning. I took one week off for vacation. Then a second week to recover from a fall. Navigating darkened unfamiliar bedrooms is dangerous! The bruising was/is spectacular. While I’m not 100%, it’s time to at least get back and do what I can without pain.

Yikes! At least your tail is ok though! And... don't fall please!

Nope - the tail took the brunt of the fall. Lesson here is short people should not try to jump up on an impossibly tall bed in the dark. Hard to get sympathy when you can’t show off your spectacular bruise!
But it’s been two weeks so I went to the gym this morning. Did most of my usual routine that didn’t involve glutes. 🥹

Yikes, Yooly. 😳 I'm sorry to hear that.

I hope your day at the gym is / was good 🤞🏻

Oh my goodness NO! That is something that cannot be UNSEEN. It might scar people for life.
I am feeling much better. Well unless I sit too long but that’s motivation to keep moving about.

Gym this morning at 5:30. How or who breaks those machines that were just fine two days ago? And why are people sitting on equipment with phone in hand at that hour? Makes you want to flick the back of their heads with a wet sweaty towel!! Good thing my gym membership is a free retirement benefit.

The only good thing about being out at that time is seeing the urban deer running through the neighborhood. I do wish I could go back to long, long walks but my old joints don’t like it. I’ll be seeing a new orthopedist in August. Maybe we can figure something out.

We will contribute, happily, at least a couple of chocolate bars, to your go-fund-me for "raging granny in trouble for flicking whippersnappers texting at the gym" "workout or get out she yelled" "news at 11"!

I’ll be at the gym early tomorrow morning trying to control myself🤬 from snapping a towel at someone.
Funny thing is there are signs posted at the gym to not use cell phones or take photos. But that early in the day there’s only one staff person and she’s not about to run around the gym reprimanding the rule breakers. 🤨

No but there should be. You have no idea how many POd old ladies are walking among you all with sweet smiles on their faces.

Gym tomorrow morning. I wonder how many calories I burn being hacked off at people on their phones resting their fannies on the equipment. I’m sure there is steam coming out of my ears!

Even though I'm sure, chat GPT would do better. Google is more convenient right now..... Powinieneś odkurzyć kilka wybranych polskich zwrotów i dać im znać, co myślisz o nich po polsku!

You gotta help me with that PAV … I’m not that adept on my phone and I can’t see very well and there’s no way I’m gonna be able to use or find any kind of translator.
And I know it’s going to be really good. 😄

Basically PAV recommends that I use some selected words in Polish to let the gym slackers know what I think of them. My Polish is poor and a spoken language as I immigrated as a child and never learned to read or write it. I can sound out written words and make sense of them with some dictionary/computer assistance. However my compendium of cuss words is pretty good. Better in German and Spanish. Confronting anyone in Texas is not a good idea. Cause you know……
Gym this morning was good. A few broken machines but the slackers stayed home or started their long weekend early.

I was suggesting she use some choice Polskie and bash them over the head with it (but not with an Ogorki-which is the only actual Polish word I know about first hand!!!)

Think of it as practicing one's "french"

(apparently in Texas it might not be safe to practice foreign languages on whippersnappers, in which case dirty looks will have to suffice!
