Good morning, Happy Wednesday! I think you're feeling poorly. Hoping (thinking yes, for sure) that you are resting up, hydrating, taking immunity boosting supps, and fueling yourself well to help body recover.
I have PT today. Eric and I were both needing a recovery day. so nothing yesterday. Back to it today!
Slept like crap last night. I got a full 1 hr 45 mins sleep :p. I have PT this afternoon.
Check ya later, flysistah! Xx

Back from PT. Asked the therapist to skip the 6-min bike ride so I could update her and we could talk over the exercises/plan, so I could understand how the plan is targeting the meniscus tear pain. Being that I have arthritis in both knees, and it's worse in the right knee than the left, but the pain and swelling is considerably more in the left, b/c of the added damage from the meniscus tear, I wanted to know how the plan was helping target that specifically. We talked about the fall, too. And the plantar fasciitis incident just before my last PT visit with her 3 weeks ago. And the fall on the ice in late Jan/early Feb, just before our first visit. I said I didn't even trip over any obstacles 10 days ago, I had on good shoes, was even using my walking stick, b/c of the earlier-in-the-day 1 hr walk. I theorized that my gait was affected by the plantar fasciitis, causing the fall. She was surprised at the hamstring pull, asked if I'd banged that, I said no, and asked if it was possible to pull it just from the impact on the knee? She said yes.
Anyway, got a fresh printout of the exercises. She did balance and range of motion assessments, instead of the bike ride, and 3 sets of each exercise. And went over form, and talked about specific muscles to target, and make sure were tightening with each exercise. She also suggested I call my doctor to see about visco shots, again, maybe for both knees. I'll call tomorrow. Or, Tuesday at the latest (after I get back from NY). Leaving Fri morning, returning Monday.
Worried about your sickness. I hope it's turning a corner. Xx

Happy Thursday! Physical day Tues, other than PT on Wed, recovery day. Need a physical day for Thu! Also have to pack, leaving in the morning.
I hope your illness doesn't sideline your weekend plans, luvvie! Keeping you in mind 💜

Good morning! Friday :). Hope you're on the mend. I'm heading to the airport soon, I'll be back on Monday. Probably will be able to check in while I'm gone, but just in case, I hope you're well enough to go to your weekend jaunt tomorrow! Xx

Good Morning! Sorry I have been MIA! I was holding my own and just resting and eating healthy foods but not much exercise- the 2 pound gain from last week is a result! I almost fully lost my voice Wednesday, Yesterday it was getting better and I had enough energy to whip the house into shape in less than an hour! I still have to get the bathroom picked up before we leave at 4 today, but very pleased with the state right now!
We will see how the weekend goes, if nothing else, just relaxing on a bed is fun! :) I felt pretty confident last night about how I was feeling so laid down to sleep for the first time all week. Probably not the best idea, as I am for SURE coughing up some gross stuff this morning. Still need to pack, but that's not a huge deal. All my laundry is washed/dried, just need to fold it and decide what to bring! :)
I am actually looking forward to walking around the park all day tomorrow, in sunshine and cooler temps (high of 71 tomorrow!). I'll be back Sunday afternoon, so I'll post some fun pics here then.
HAVE FUN this weekend!!!! See you Monday!!!

Good Morning! Hope your weekend was super fun! We had so much fun this weekend! Ate all the wrong things, but it was a special weekend. We are back on track this morning! I ended up with 13,000 steps on Saturday! :) This morning I have a 30 minute walk in already. Taking it slower and my chest is still breaking up. I have a feeling it's going to take a few weeks to move past this. I even still have a sore throat, so… meh, just keep moving!
It was so nice to walk into a clean house after the trip, got the coffee table sold and moved out yesterday afternoon. Scott and I had steaks and a "tasting" (Gin and whiskey) to end our fun weekend!
My biggest excitement of the weekend was that it was getting cool toward the end of the day Saturday (we were there from noon-8!!!) so Scott got a long sleeve shirt and I got a sweatshirt. However, mine was an XL, not a 2X!!!! And it fit great! I'm finally seeing some changes!!!
Plan for today:
- pick up office
- run Gertie and Jeeves
- pick up mess from last night
- put away vacation things.
- Walk/strength training at lunch
- make bed
- get back to Habitica
- work on making some daily/weekly house goals
- Work on a list of videos to make
- Walk after work- length will depend on if inside/out, how I'm feeling
1 -
Morning! Got my walks in yesterday, and most of my strength training. While I was doing strength, my neighbor came over, my other neighbor was being taken away in an ambulance (he's 80), as he's not been eating, apparently :( He's home today (his step-daughter is there today), but just lots of prayer needed for this situation. Other than his health, his financial isn't great and he's got 2 leeches of sons who love to take all his money. Step Daughter is really stepping up to ensure he's taken care of :(
Still coughing today, but got a lot of sleep last night! yay me! We are fasting until tomorrow dinner, but getting easy walks in.
Today's plan (mostly yesterday's plan I didn't even try to do after Mr. Wayne was taken away).
- pick up bathrooms
- run Gertie and Jeeves- they got a little sidetracked yesterday, will try again today
- pick up kitchen/dining
- put away vacation things.
- Walk at lunch
- make bed
- get back to Habitica
- work on making some daily/weekly house goals
- Work on a list of videos to make
- Walk after work- length will depend on if inside/out, how I'm feeling. Yesterday we did a 5k after work outside, it was so nice!

Hi Jenny!
Home yesterday. Absolutely wiped out - yesterday was a complete rest day, after a brunch date with Eric at Miss Portland Diner. He took me there direct from picking me up from the airport.
Grandma Rita's services were absolutely beautiful. All the stories, the beautiful eulogy, the gathering after, the dinner after that, and then Mothers Day brunch on Sunday, and then hanging by the pool after that with my 2nd sister's family. And full days, from landing in Friday, to flying back home on Monday.
I do have photos to share, but I'm on my phone right now. Android photo unloading doesn't work to MFP app.
Lab appt this morning, physical on Wed, and on gyn 1-yr follow up on the 20th. Pretty sure there's a dermatologist follow up coming soon too
Loved reading your update. Apologies for not answer yesterday. Was SO SO tired. I logged 8.5 hrs sheep, and a 92 sleep score, but it only started my sleep log at 11:30p. I was asleep before 10p.
My knees were so swollen yesterday! I needed my LL Bean hiking stick to step into the shower! Scale was up 3.4 lbs from Friday, too! Hopefully that's all swoll.
I'll be up and functional by tomorrow. Loved your update, and pix!!
İf you have time, scroll back to last week. You were sick, so you missed it, but I did a big start last Monday with Eric. We did an attic / cleaning projects org & sort. Posted pix for you Xx
1 -
Hey MK! Sorry I missed your updates for last week, I'm so glad you did get a big start last monday on the attic/cleaning! That's awesome! Glad you had a good time this weekend. I think it was a really good thing you went, even with being wiped out! How are you feeling today? Knees better? Rested up?
Still fighting the good fight here with this d@mn cold or whatever it is. Throat is still sore and I'm wondering if I need to go to the doctor. My cough isn't really bad so I don't think it's pneumonia, no fever so doubt it's strep, it's just lingering and really dragging me out. I've also been suuuuuper dizzy the last 2 days (thinking electrolytes), so that's slowing me down a lot too. I think I've just been doing too much this week, so today I took a nap at lunch, and plan on sleeping as much as I can until Monday! :) We have dinner tomorrow night with friends for one guy's birthday, then ladies night the next night for one lady's (belated) birthday. We will have an activity and dinner downtown Nashville. I get to design my own perfume and take it home! :) Gonna be a $$$ night, but worth it, I guess!
Today I plan on getting some dishes done after work, fill up water bottles again (LOL).

Good morning! Oh boy and I feeling SO much better today! NOT dizzy at ALL this morning, and my cough is virtually gone! I will still work on keeping it low key this weekend, though.
Been a stressful-ish morning here. Talked to my sister about next week, and my neighbor's step daughter about his dr appt yesterday.
Next week I will be staying at the parent's house Monday night through at least Thursday night since dad's hand/nerve surgery is Tuesday (I have the whole day off), and will need to be there to help out as much as possible. Stacey is a teacher, and she works a few hours on Friday, so probably will be able to go home Thursday night, but will play it by ear on how dad is feeling, since mom has an appt on Friday my sister will take her to.
My neighbor had a rough appt yesterday with the Dr. Dr told his step daughter that he shouldn't be living alone any more. He is refusing to eat, even giving the doctor a million excuses to not eat. He even got frustrated while there, which really spoke to his cognitive abilities. Step Daughter spoke to an attorney today and she's going to get an emergency conservatorship within the next 48 hours. It will be for 60 days until it can be made permanent. His sons (2) are terrible, so pray she can get this settled before they find out. Mr. Wayne needs to be protected from those boys (especially financially).
So, today I'm working on figuring out a meal plan for next week for me to take/eat at my parents. I also need to think about how I can reach my activity goals while there because my short term goal is to be down 10 pounds by June 20. I've gained 3 pounds the last few days because I've upped my electrolytes, so I know I can probably hit that goal if I stay focused!
This weekend is busy. We have dinner with friends tonight. Will go grocery shopping at lunch, we are bringing a salad bar as our contribution. Tomorrow is activity/dinner with the ladies. So, I need to plan my cleaning for this weekend to set Scott up for success next week.

Happy Friday ! I'm sorry you've been so sick :(. Do you think it could be Covid?
Man, I spent most of the week recovering. I came back and weighed in 3.5 lbs heavier on Tues morning than I was on Fri morning when I left My knees were sooooo swollen! 🤐
- Down 1.2 lbs on Wed,
- -0.3 more lbs on Thu,
- -1.9 more lbs today.
Swoll offically all peed out. lol. This Friday I'm -0.2 lbs down from last Friday. Hopefully some more down Sat/Sun for Hogwarts weigh in.
Copy/paste from another thread on Wed:
I had my annual physical today. Doc is very pleased with improvements in labs, from focusing on freggies. A1C now normal, col now normal, metabolic panel looks great, TSH normal, too. Triglycerides just above normal. I've never had a Triglycerides high reading until last Nov. Eight days post-covid infection, they were double the previous 125s. Somewhere in the 250s. This one was 166 (high threshold is 150). She didn't seem too worried. Next labs in a yr, instead of 6 mos 👍.
Now I just have to marry my freggie focus to trying to stay inside calories again. I stopped worrying about calories while I was focusing on quality of food intake.
Doc said you can be healthier while or heavy if your food quality is high, than you are if you're normal weight and your food quality is low - and my labs are telling the story of focusing on freggies all fall and winter, she said! Yay :)
WOOOHOOOOOO great labs !! Planet Fitness is right across from my doc's (Trader Joe's, too), so I stopped in to TJ's, then hit PF for my 1st visit in a few weeks. Got in 2 weight circuits, and indoor biking. Yesterday, did indoor 'fake walking' that my Fitbit clocked as 34 mins elliptical, then went for a 37 min walk yesterday evening, with Eric, after his shift ended.
Ned to get in an abs workout today. And steps. Way too many steps last week tho, that plus flying was really tough on my knees.
I got a covid booster on Wed, too (in addition to my Tue labs, and Wed annual physical). Couldn't get it in the fall, bc I had (my 1st ever) covid infection, then. 'tis the season for doctor's appts. I have an ob/gyn follow-up on the 20th; a derm follow-up in June. And a couple referrals to see about an intermittent swallowing problem.

Oh! pix! right, I'm on laptop now. I think that's why I didn't post yesterday, I was on my phone (and I can't upload pix from there).
My 2nd sister and me, on Mother's Day; my hair's not even combed, she is blow drying her hair 💕
My 2nd sister, my oldest sister, and me, on the porch at oldest sister's club, after Mother's Day brunch 💗💗💗
Mother's Day brunch, redux! At Miss Portland Diner on Monday morning, with Eric. He took me there on the way home from the airport, after he picked me up. 💞

PS - sad about your neighbor :(. He's blessed to have his step daughter to protect him. And your parents are truly blessed to have you!! Good luck with Dad's hand surgery next week!

Happy Sunday! I hope you're continuing to get better, AND having fun with all your plans this weekend - including making your own perfume! I didn't efven know that was a thing :p
Got in another Planet Fitness workout yesterday. I got in my same 2 weights circuits, but instead of my usual 5-mi indoor bike goal, I did 8+, to make up for Wedesday's short ride. Again - my estimate, cuz the thing kept shutting off again. :-(.
My club is closing for 5 days from May 22 - 26, for new equipment. I have a feeling my (formerly) favorite one-of-a-kind bike won't be there on May 27th. It's the only one that shows RPMs, so I'm going to miss it, if it's gone :p
I need to get in some decluttering. My heel is not hurting from oddball rando attack of plantar fasciitis. My face, hands, knee, and hamstring are not bothering me from my fall. I've peed out all the swoll from the trip to NY and the flights, AND gotten in two Planet Fitness Workouts without injuring something new :p. Time to get my PT exercises, my 1x/wk yoga/flex/tai chi/etc goal, AND declutter with Jennywren goal!! I've put that in as a weekly goal on another challenge. I failed last week. Gotta meet it this week :D

Happy Sunday! I thought I had posted yesterday, but I didn't! I'm sorry!
Friday night was cancelled due to being on-call and an issue popped up
Saturday was fun. I was able to eat carnivore at the brunch! yay! And the perfume was so much fun to do! I have to wait 2 weeks to be able to use it (oil takes 2 weeks to integrate with the other liquid), but I'm so excited!
What wonderful pictures! And what a wonderful update on your health! Those are awesome stats! Keep that momentum going! Sorry your PF will be closing, hoping your favorite bike will still be there!
LOL Declutter with Jennywren goal! That's awesome! LOL I know you can do it! Keep your list achievable this week (you can't 0-200 in a week!).
This week I will be at mom and dad's Monday night- Thursday night, so today I am working on menu planning, grocery shopping, and picking up/laundry/packing. I also want to plan what next weekend looks like, so I have something to look forward to! :)
I still have a sore throat, but I'm just keeping it moving….. I'm not really having any other symptoms now, no fever (so, not strep), not dizzy, tired or coughing much, so I don't see the point in going to the doctor.
Off to get my menu planned/grocery list made!
1 -
haha, so true, on the 200! I did say I was going 'full Amy' ;-). I think if I didn't repeatedly hurt myself, and go away, I'd have gotten a good chunk done ;-). Thx, on the health update! Yea, I'm pretty proud of those labs :D
GL with packing!
So, tell me, what was 'your' signature perfume!? :)
0 -
it was a lot of floral…. Lily of the valley, precious, gardenia, and lilac. I actually had 11 different smells!
Tonight we are planning our vacations for next year.Got my egg bites done for the week. They were so good! I’ll have to make them again! Menu for the week…
0 -
Wtg!! Now you're prepared. I know your Mom gives you a hard time about the carnivore lifestyle, so good on you for having it sorted ahead of time! Your welcome home dinner sounds fabulous!
We're going away next weekend. Too bad the forecast for the week is all rainy here. I'm hoping to take advantage of a Sail & Dine special at a hotel up north. They just opened for the season on Fri! I called around 4-ish, but their reservationd desk closed at 3 :-p. I guess they won't be fully staffed until July 🤷♀️

PS - the perfume sounds so pretty and light 💜

Morning! Slight change of plans late in the day yesterday. Dad's doctor's office called about 2 to reschedule his surgery for today. It's now set for July 1. UGH. At least I have some pre-made food! I will go to their house tonight after dinner and come home tomorrow night, mom still has the eye appt to get the shot in her eye, so I need to help with that.
Yesterday we found out our neighbor probably won't be coming home. He's getting moved to a "geriatric psych ward" because he's not eating, not participating in his care, aggressive, his dementia got so bad so quick (like within 6 months!). After being in there 1-2 weeks, he'll probably get moved to a home. We moved one of our cameras to keep an eye on his house. His sons know he's in the hospital and the Step daughter is trying to get conservatorship of him so the boys can't loot him. She's afraid they will try to come to the house while he's not there, so we're helping where we can.
I hope you can have you get away! That sounds like a lot of fun! It's currently pouring here, so yeah, we've got a lot of rain in the forecast this week as well!
I'm really excited about the challenge this week! I remember last time I was at my parents for the same challenge…. LOL
List for today:
- towels (I got darks/lights done yesterday for packing)
- pack for 1 day
- dishes
- I got the fridge cleaned out yesterday, and the yucky stuff put in the downstairs fridge to go out Friday morning- a habit we started because cleaning out on a Monday and putting it outside for pickup on Friday in TN begets maggots. :)
- run Gertie (downstairs vacuum)
- Clean the bathrooms
1 -
ooooooo, bam, lots of changes! That's awesome that you're helping protect your neighbors <3.
I just got back from the OB/GYN. 1-yr followup for a uterine fibroid that caused mild spotting last year. Let me tell you, the whole biopsy the fibroid thing is NOT fun! They just go in, three times, and slice a piece out of you. No anethesia of any kind. Sure, there's not a lot of nerve endings inside your uterus, but there's definitely still some 🤐.
The result last year was 'weakly proliferative' endometrial cells, or something like that. Basically, there's still estrogen being produced, at least a little. Those cells shouldn't be proliferative at all after menopause. The result last year was not normal, but not that concerning, either. She said women with proliferative cells in their uterus lining have a 5% chance of pre-cancer, or cancer, of the lining within 5 yrs. So, the percentage is low, and the 'proliferation' was weak, so … hopefully the cells will be dormant this biopsy. If they are, no need to go back. If they're not, keep going back for annual biopsies. (ooooooffffff)))
List for today:
- PT exercises
- Yoga/flex
- rest/cramping 9weird, wearing a pad again 😑)
- Go see mil after Eric's shift.
She flies in today. Katie is off all week, Grandma is staying with Katie (yay). Kate will pick her up in just a bit (flight was due around 12:30, but delayed in Charlotte for ~ 40 mins, so it'll be late), then the two of them are going out to lunch, and back to Katie's.
Eric took off the back half of his shift tomorrow, so he'll get done at 4p, instead of 8p. Hopefully we'll get together for dinner. Grandma just started back to the gym recently; my Planet Fitness is going to be closed for 5 days starting on Thu, during which time I can access any of the other clubs in the area. One is in Falmouth, which is between here (Portland) and where Katie lives (Brunswick, ~ 35 mins north), so I told Katie if Grandma wanted to hit the gym, I could meet up with her at the Falmouth PF if she wanted. She and Eric's Dad used to hit the gym all the time, when they used to come to visit, so she might want to. Otherwise, they'll mostly be having Grandma/Granddaughter time, until Eric finishes working on Saturday. (Saturday he works 7:30-4p, so he's out early then too, hopefully we can meet up for dinner again on Saturday.
So, that might be:
- a visit tonight, up to Katie's.
- Dinner tomorrow and Saturday.
- Inn at Ocean's Edge up in Lincolnville Sun - Tues (Sun and Mon night stays, Sail & Dine package). She flies home on Tues, 4p, so she'll go to the airport after driving back from Lincolnville (a couple hours north, or so).
- And maybe some gym dates sometime between Thu - Sat? We'll see.
1 -
Oh boy! you went through the ringer! I had to have a biopsy a couple years ago. Why they can't give locals is beyond me, it's just not fair. It makes me so mad every time I hear about it!
Sounds like fun with Grandma! How cool that she likes to go to the gym! I want to be cool like that when I get old(er)! Nice that Katie gets to spend time with her as well!
I'm leaving here in about 1.5 hours, weather is dicey right now, so I'm hanging out until it gets a little better
0 -
Right!? Ugh
Ur probably on the road now. Or maybe there. GL with Mom's appt tmo! Xx
I ended up just taking it easy all day. Spotting and crampy. Birch
Weather's chilly and gloomy here. We're actually getting a frickin nor'easter' on Thu!
It's not raining yet. But it will be, most of the week.
Chat GPT is sussing out food anagrams for me, for Hogwarts Classroom 7A potions. Lol

(off to make another protein tea, so I can hit my protein goal for today. I signed up fir hitting my finger goal for 5 days a, and hitting my protein goal for 5 days)

Good Morning! Back home. Mom's appt went…. getting a shot in an eye is never good, and this time it hurt her more.
I'm so excited for the extended weekend! I got some edging for us to put in this weekend around the bar shed- will help keep the gravel in there. I think we're also going to work on the pantry- Scott brought it up! LOL
One of my co-workers yesterday got confidential information about my team's job once we've been migrated, and of COURSE she shared it with me. Not good news, I really need to get moving on my job search. I will have a job, but it will be a step backwards, and our boss will be taking 2 steps backward. :( I don't like companies that do that stuff, so it's time. I will be working on my resume and job search moving forward during my shifts. Not only do we have another month before we get migrated (and very little to do), after we migrate we will still have 4-8 weeks of "training". smh
So, I want to get the house picked up today so we can focus on our projects this weekend!
- Main bath
- Laundry bath
- table
- dishes
- towels
- family room
- Jeeves
- Gertie
- research how to house a skink- we had one decide a bucket outside was a fun place to stay, but we let it loose in the back yard. It travelled all the way back to the front of the house and got back into the bucket. So, Sally is now ours… (Sally the Salamander lol)

Good morning! Welcome home :) ~
That's fantastic about Scott bringing up the pantry, and loving your weekend plans ! oooo, on Mom's eye. I cringed when I read that
I'm sorry about the job news. But, GREAT that you have advance notice of what is coming! Wishing success on the search, I know you'll find a good opportunity, J. 💜
Nor'easter blowing in during the late afternoon. I'm going to hit Planet Fitness in just a bit. Cruddy sleep last night, I was awake until 3:30 :(. BUT, we had fun last night. Played cards after dinner.
We did go to dinner with my daughter and mother-in-law last night. We stopped at one place for drinks and apps, it was 'Weiner Wednesday' lol and my daughter really wanted to try it. 'Weiner Wednesday' is a twice a month fundraiser at a local cool … I don't know what you call it! heh I was going to say wine bar, but that's not right. . Half the profits from the weiner sales go towards a local charity. I had about a quarter of the 'Signore' , which is basically a bean salad-topped hot dog :p. And a "Swedish Pie", which was a rum cocktail.
They describe themselves as a '… retail store for the best in prepared & speciality foods, cheese & charcuterie, small-production wine, beer, & ciders with a strong sense of place, and all the cocktail supplies your heart could desire.During store hours we offer very casual counter service. A selection of wines, beers, ciders, and bottled cocktails are ready to be poured for you
to enjoy at the bar or on the porch (weather permitting!). You can shop the shop for snacks to enjoy while you sip.We hold regular wine tastings and host lots of fun community events.'
I can't recall what the charity was last night. But here's an announcement from one of the charity's that was featured during one of their pop-up Weiner Wednesdays last September:
I didn't get a picture of the hotdog I shared with hubby, but they have a picture of a couple of them there. I did get a picture of my 'Swedish Pie'. Despite the 'pie' name, it wasn't a particularly sweet concoction.
Anyway, due to the apps and drink before-hand, when we went to dinner, I looked for something that would be delicious, but not heavy. We went to another cool local spot, The Great Impasta, which proudly declares on their website, "We are proud to be Maine’s only 3 star certified Green restaurant. Environmentally-friendly practices are paramount in every aspect of our business. From reducing waste, cooking with energy efficient equipment and composting, we are focused on being a restaurant with minimal environmental impact.". Cool !
I had a small bread-plate-sized portion of my daughter's Beet Salad (fresh mixed greens, roasted beets, goat cheese, and toasted nuts with honey balsamic dressing), which was delicious. I forgot to snap a pic, tho. I chose an appetizer for my entree - Gamberi Aglio (shrimp sautéed with tomatoes in a roastedgarlic and herb olive oil white wine sauce) - also delicious !
And I ordered a Spumoni for dessert (ice cream confection made with pistachio, cherry, vanilla and chocolate flavors drizzled with claret sauce), which we all shared. So, I got in some freg, including some green! and had delicious small plates that didn't bust the calorie budget. Win all around :D.

PS - what are Jeeves, Gertie, and a skink!? lol

Good morning, Jennywren!
I visited a different Planet Fitness club yesterday, for my workout. My club closed at midnight Wed night, and will be closed for 5 days, for new cardio equipment installations. I was curious about other clubs. This one is much smaller, and the stuff wasn't quite the same. It all looks newer, tho, so I wonder if that is what the equipment will look like when my home club reopens.
The indoor bikes are all pedal-powered there, and there are no individual tv screens. Instead, there are a bank of huge tv screens across hanging from the ceiling, in front of the rows of cardio equipment, each playing a different channel. Plus, all the cardio equipment was in two rows, all together - stair steppers, ellipticals, bikes, indoor bikes, row machines, recumbant bikes, all of it. My home club had two rows of just bikes!
We're going away Sun - Tues, so no chance to check out more other clubs on those days, but I could check out 2 others if I go for a workout today and tomorrow, too! I don't know tho, I'd want to check out all the machines I usually do, but I don't do ST on back-to-back days, usually. Plus, a nor'easter blew in last night. It's hanging around until Saturday, too. Blech. :p
Today's plan :
- catch up on some computer work.
- make a grocery order
- do some laundry :)
0 -
Good Morning! :) Gertie and Jeeves are our robot vacuums. We have 2 floors, so we have 2 of them! :) A skink is a type of lizard. I ended up asking Grok if it was just unable to get out of the box and Grok said I should put a piece of bark in there and see if it will crawl out on it's own. It did. LOL
What a wonderful dinner you had with your MIL and Daughter! Thank you for sharing! Those pictures looked amazing! How much fun! And I love that you were able to stay on track with your health goals by having small plates!
Sorry about the PF, sounds like the one you regularly go to is much better- maybe this one needs to update too! :)
With the Nor'easter does that mean a lot of rain? We were supposed to have rain all weekend, but now it's changed and not supposed to have 10% chance starting at 4 pm.
We ate and drank under the stars last night, watched some tv, listened to music, had a nice campfire. Then we slept in the camper! We are slow moving today, but isn't that a requirement for a long weekend? ;)
Today we will start cleaning out the pantry and seeing exactly what we have to work with, and what we need to get. :) I'm so excited!
