After having a 3 hr flight delay due to heavy wet snow & then getting back to -24* we ended up getting in at 1:30 in the morning! It was 2 by the time we crashed. Thought about another motel but we wanted our own bed! My 3 furries were happy to see us!!!
I am SORE but can do walking so I have done spurts of 10 minutes here & there! Here is my week (how sad for me!!!)
Sunday:
94 min = 937 calories PLUS my 2 miles of walking (No calorie burn taken)
REPs:= 250 ( 200 UB & 50 Core)
Stretching: 8 min
Monday:
64 min = 714 calories.

2. 100 ab reps. I have previously met the reps requirement for the week. These were extra

4. I have been drinking this week. Not gonna lie. Have tossed this out the window for the week. :ohwell:

Friday:
1. 45 minutes running on the treadmill (kill me now, but it is icy outside) 437 calories
2. 50 various ab reps after running and 25 pushups
3. no goal stretching today

Hey there Dolphins, How are we all doing this weekend? I have to say having my husband home the next several days for the holidays are going to make things alot harder on me. When he is home all he wants to do is eat and wants everything that I shouldn't eat. I wish I could figure out how to work this out.
Great job tabbydog on being so close to your goal. Hang in there.

Thank you DEVLe! I agree with what to do when (like yours) the family wants what we KNOW & are trying not to have. I have always used fitness to recover but it is getting hard too. My sons are on their own now & my husband is thin so he could eat whatever but he does need to watch it too or he starts to get a paunch on him! You have been doing awesome so just have a small amount & move on! Tell your husband how hard this is for you & ask him for support, maybe he'll see how these food choices really are not the best & choose SOMETHING healthier! Or ALWAYS eat a HUGE salad before whatever his choice may be! I wish you the best cuz you have been plugging away at something that is very tasking!!! Thanks for your support!

It is SUNDAY dolphins & I am off to church! I will once again pray for my DOLPHINS!
I am getting better. Don't hurt quite so bad & moving much better. If you ever had a very large baby with tearing & an episiotomy. That is what it feels like only worse! After going through that TWICE I did not think I'd ever have that & Hope this is the VERY last time!

@Verda...how are you doing? You sound like you are mustering up enough strength to get through some seriously brutal pain!! I am so sorry you are going through that right now!!! (or ever!) And I'm sorry.....worse than childbirth....ummmm I'd want to die!!! sooooo I'm truly amazed you are hanging in there!!
Just an fyi...for those that may not have seen my challenge post or my profile post - I did drop the 90 minute workout to a 60 minute - just thought I'd cut you all a tinny tiny break :bigsmile: When I was totaling the chart I realize how tough the weeks workouts were...and while I would NEVER normally shy away from that....Christmas week I thought I'd give a bit of a break there!!0 -

I must say I never. Got in the 20 but today was the worst day for weakness! I will do what I can though!
I gave up chocolate for this week except for Christmas day. That day I am taking a desert that has chocolate in it and I want some! Chocolate is EXTREMELY hard to resist so I have told myself I will have to quit the team if I eat any besides Christmas.0 -
Sheri - THANK YOU!!! Cutting one workout from 90 to 60 has made a HUGE difference to how I
feel about this week (all mental!) - it's taken me from 'how on earth am I going to get this done?' To OMG that is a lot of squats!! I'd already done a 60 min walk, and can schedule a 2 hour walk with dog but I am heading to Spain on Thursday morning. I'm off to stay with a couple of very close friends out there. Luckily for me they are pretty active!
I need to do a loads of burpees today . I've been up at my parents for a couple of days and yesterday mum put out nuts, chocolate, biscuits and tablet. For those of you that don't know what tablet is.. It is an extremely sweet Scottish fudge like candy, that is seriously morish - especially when you have a sweet tooth!
Well - my week so far:
Sunday: 65 mins walking, 254 calories
Monday: 30 mins walking, 126 calories
Squats, crunches and sit-ups done.

With all the ice around here and all the chopping of ice and shoveling of ice, and cleaning the barn twice a day because the horses have been in because it is too ICY, I have been a slacker so far this week. Soooo, I got up early this morning to get some sort of workout in. I was up until midnight because my brother in law came with his sander to sand the drive way, and I had to get up at 5 to get it done.... :yawn: Good thing I only have to work until noon today!
Sunday - chopping ice
Monday - chopping ice and stretching
Tuesday - 30 minutes yoga - 77 calories
did day 11 and 12 of the squat/crunch challenge
I hope to get a run in also after work, but there are still a lot of errands to do this afternoon.

Good job Jenn but why don't you use the minutes from ALL the laborous work? They burn MORE calories than running! Watch your step with ALL that ice!!!!

Well, I have done 60mins, 120mins, 20mins and 30 mins so fine on that front.
I'm not sure that I am going to be able to complete the abs challenge though. Squats - check. Crunches - check. Sit-ups - I'm a few behind. They're not really something that you can do in public!0 -
