Had yesterday off work, so I took another long, long walk. :happy: I'm sure I'll be OK hiking on vacation next week although I'm still not sure how well my legs will handle any long climbs. I'm willing to try anyway.:bigsmile:

I haven't been real good at tracking my miles this month, but I have been getting some miles in, mostly in short walks with my dog. She is rehabing after orthopedic surgery (rod and pins to repair a broken tibia/fibula) so no long walks, just short 10-15min walks several times a day. Also getting some treadmill miles doing C25K - currently on W3D2. Here is my total miles to date.

I was able to get to the gym to teach spin this morning - 20.6 miles done. Then, came home, and kiddo is seemingly content watching tv so I did some gardening outside. Felt good to be outside. I'm going to do some work inside during the heat of the day (e.g. work on painting the hallway), and might do some more work outside when it cools off this evening. I'm feeling restless.

Good hot almost non windy day, good day for a ride. Going up into the mountains next week for some high altitude training. Getting my bike fitted to me has brought the joy back into riding. I have only walked 2 days this week.

I should probably bow out of this month's challenge I believe. With the start of the new school year and working 9-12 hour days, I'm too tired when I get home to even think of doing anything athletic.
I'm not even a quarter of the way to my goal and we're nearing the halfway point of the month.
I'm going to keep logging, but I'm not holding out any hope of winning this time around.
