Naw.. It wasn't that bad - close to being a lot worse. It was a pretty thin scratch for the most part except where it went through the thumbnail and took a hunk out below it, but that quit bleeding pretty quickly. The wifey (who is a RN) looked at it later for me, and seemed ok with my treatment.

I'm glad it wasn't too bad, still makes my stomach turn a bit to think you went through the thumbnail.

Woohoo - jogged 3 miles without any walking breaks! It took me 38 min - excluding time and distance for warm-up/cool-down. I had planned to do C25K wk7d2 but felt pretty good so I just went for the 3 miles. I'm pretty sure that's the furthest I've run without any walking breaks. I know I took walking breaks during my sprint tris in my early 20s, can't remember if I was able to do a full 3 miles without breaks during training though.

Nice running! I've gone extra quite a few times on my c25k, but after my first 20 min. straight run last week, I was ready to quit...

Thanks, that first 20 minute run took everything I had. I'm thankful for the C25K program, I certainly would have overtrained and hated running if I had done it on my own.

Another unplanned rest day yesterday (walk during lunch break) but made up for it today: 45 min arc trainer, 13 min intense rowing and 30 min yoga.

4.5 mile walk on Sunday - nothing yesterday. Today is my 2nd day home from work with a sick baby & I was feeling run down yesterday. Feeling OK today so I hope I can get a workout in after kids are in bed tonight. I borrowed the insanity program from a friend so I'm planning to start that as soon as I can.

P90 with the wife (kathyazach) yesterday. a bit of elliptical and strength training this morning. I was planning on running c25k this afternoon, but my body is screaming at me for missing my rest day this weekend, so I'm not sure if it's going to happen - don't want to pull something in my leg, and it feels like its on the brink.

60 minutes on the bike trainer followed by a little bit of core and upper body strength. Made it a very late night but really needed a good sweat.
