I am nowhere near the 10 minute mile the app tells me I should be at, but I can run a full 5k and that is all I wanted! Next step....10k! Last night I even ran 3.25 miles on the treadmill (the treadmill kills me; it is so much easier to run outside for me). I seriously love the c25k app!
Congratulations! Excellent job!!!0 -

Hiya all
W3D1 done. I managed to do 3 intervals of 90 seconds, 2 of 3 minutes, and at the end another one of just over 90 seconds. It was raining today and I considered not running. But it didn't rain in about a year here, and it was warm so I decided to go nontheless. Do you go running when it rains?
Nice run! Yes, I do run when it rains (if it's warm) - I come back all soaked anyway0 -
I did W4D1 today and it was MUCH harder than W3D3... congratulations!0 -

I needed to slow down the pace....kinda sucks because I don't want to be "slow" but I'd rather be slow and finish than gasping for breath halfway through.

Patience- speed will come later! Great job everybody!0

Tonight I start W5D1!! Wish me luck!
I went to my docs and got another inhaler and was told to use it 15 minutes before I begin so lets see what that does!0 -

That sounds very much like me. I love stats, and having stats urges me to try better. Oh well..
Today was W3D2 and I did set two new records, though no speed record
I did 5 minutes warm up, then the 2x90 seconds and 2x3 minutes intervals from the programme and decided to double that - and succeeded! I did stop after the fourth 3 minute running interval and did not walk on because I was so out of breath and the interval ended right in front of my house door. But I made it! *dances around* Duration: 38:03, distance 4.49km, almost half of that running. Wow!
edit: seeing MissKissKins comment about the inhaler: I hope I didn't do anything stupid. It was storming today, and that usually means lots of dust. I've been fighting with some kind of asthma. Hope everything's fine.0 -
