I had some time this morning and early afternoon to catch up on a few miles. I'm over halfway to goal anyway. (Shhh, we aren't looking at
the date here, we are celebrating what we can accomplish). Added 5.25 miles for a February total of 41.75 miles.

    exercise.png

@scarfe9991 Thanks. I'm not so discouraged that I'm sitting around pouting, but .........

Oh I agree...it's been a lovely winter. My husband actual got out on the bike and we've been taking walks after work again. I love El Nino! :)

2.6 mile run/walk. And if I get blown away by any tornadoes today, I'll try to track the distance and reach goal.

Starting the month off right. 25 miles out of 150. Bike and XC skis. Gotta love winter.

Adding another 6 miles on the XC skis. That's 31 out of 150.

Adding another 3 miles on the XC skis. Skate skiing is TOUGH! I guess I just need more practice. That makes 34 out of 150.

6 more miles on the hamster wheel. That's 40 out of 150.

Adding 6 more miles for 46 out of 150. It was nice to start commuting again. I didn't expect that two weeks into February.

Adding 16 more miles. It's good to be outside on the bike again but I forgot how hard it is to lug my fat carcass up the hills. That makes 62 out of 150.

Adding another 15 miles for 77 out of 150.

Adding 6 miles for 83 miles out of 150. Coming right along this month.

Adding another 12 miles for 95 out of 150.

Adding 6 more miles for 101 out of 150. Too bad they had to be inside but after weights, I was spent anyway so it's just as well.

Adding another 12 miles for 113 out of 150. It was nice to have the road bike out again.

Adding another 12 miles from an FTP test. Those really bite but if you don't know where you are, how do you know if you're getting where you want to be?

    That's another 12 for 125 out of 150.

Adding another 6 miles for 131 out of 150.

Adding another 13 miles for 144 out of 150. I'll knock it out on Monday.

Adding 7 miles for 151 out of 150. It's bonus miles from here baby!

Adding another 18 miles for 169 out of 150.

Adding 16 miles for 185 out of 150. I love bonus smiles.

My logging is getting behind. My motivation has just been sapped. My son is experiencing health problems again, I have one wound from my cycling accident that just refuses to heal and that is so depressing. I keep going back to my health care provider, and get a nurse. I get the same song and dance that it will heal, but over 7 months I still have to do weekly SafeTac and Tegaderm patch changes. Well SafeTac costs about 120.00 for 10, Tegaderm are only 25.00 for 4 of them. Medicare does not pay for either one of those. Oh well, it is what it is. Just a constant reminder as the wound is right where I can see it everyday. Oops I am ranting, sorry just frustrated. This pic is from yesterdays Tegaderm patch change

    02/20 - 01.0 miles walking
    02/21 - 02.0 miles walking

    Total: 161.00 miles

    02/22 - 16.0 miles cycling trainer
    02/23 - 02.0 miles walking
    02/24 - 02.0 miles hiking

    Total: 181.0 miles

Well, it would be one way to make goal, right? I went to see a special showing of The Maltese Falcon in the movie theater with a coworker. She was concerned that if there was a tornado before she came to my house, she'd be blowing in the storm naked, since she had a massage appt  We made it through the movie (very cool to see it on the big screen), stopped to eat and were almost done when the phones gave the warning alerts. I'm home now, still under a warning alert for another hour or so. Glad I'm on vacation - storms strike fear into the hearts of Labor and Delivery nurses - everyone's water breaks.
