At first I was a little deflated reading this thread realizing I'm losing slower than most others. But I stopped myself. I am real proud of myself. I'm really happy with my new WOE. I failed so many times losing nothing or not being able to stay on plan more than 3 days. I am THRILLED with my numbers. OMG I sound like a biggest loser contestant!!7 -

Hmpf! I'm holding onto a lot of water for some reason. I can feel and see it in my shins and ankles. They're usually very bony, but the last couple days they are really squishy Still eating well and feeling good though!2 -

Yay! Met my first goal and that was to be in the 160's! Last time I was in the 160's was in 2008. My fasting blood sugars are in 80-90's and im only metformin. So happy i finally found the right WOE for me and an amazing group of people who are both supportive and very knowledge (this is looking at you MFP Low Carber's Group)9 -
Week 7 Wednesday Weigh-in I'm reporting a small gain... Won't lie, was a rough week, had three days out of the seven that I had more hunger and cravings than usual (messed up hormones suck), but I still managed to minimize the potential damage by not overdoing it on the carbs... Still moving forward, still smiling...
Starting weight: 301.7 lbs
Last week's weight: 291 lbs
Today's weight: 291.6 lbs (+0.6 lbs)
Total Lost: 10.1 lbs

I'm on day 15 of keto. I did a month of Atkins before starting keto and lost 8 pounds of water weight on Atkins. So, my original starting weight was 180. But for keto here goes:
SW: 171.5
CW: 169
GW: 125
Weight loss seems to be incredibly slow on keto, but it was non-existent on Atkins (after losing the initial water weight). But, at least I'm losing. I just feel like I'm working soooo hard on it. I'm only consuming 1400 calories a day (deficit of 500 cals) and walking to brink of exhaustion... all for 1/2 pound a week weight loss. I'm trying really hard not to feel discouraged to the point of giving up.2 -
I've lost 2.5 lbs since re-starting keto. Yay.
I'd love to lose 4-5 more.6 -
