He is sorta on board with the low carb part but not so much with the high fat part.
Hahaha my boyfriend looked at me like I was insane when I grabbed 50% fat and 50% meat when we had a ham for dinner one night.3 -
When at least once a week someone wants all the details of your diet....and you get super excited to share the keto gospel until they say "oh no, I can't live without bread, cake, fries, insert other carby food here. lol6

.... and you resist the temptation to say, [insert favorite comeback you never utter, such as]:Oh. You mean:
"oh no, you can't keep your weight, triglycerides,
blood pressure and glucose high enough to reduce
your life expectancy and enrich your chances of getting Alzheimer's"
without bread, cake, [ho-ho's, doritos, leaded coke,,,,,].8 -

Haha! Yes! I wish I had a cow.2 -
When you look at the clock at 10:15am after being up for nearly 6 hours and are not phased by the fact you haven't eaten anything yet.
I really don't miss the days where if I hadn't already had breakfast plus at least one snack by now I would feel like I was going to die of hunger, and even if I had both of those, wondering if I would make it to lunch without another snack.5 -

I had a family member say the same, then laughed when I said I was cutting out all sugar. About 40lbs later she asked me "what's that diet you're doing again?". She's asked me about it a few times even after explaining it and helping her grocery shop and everything..She loves those "veggie" chips. Sigh.

Between this one and the one about checking carb count on TP, I am not sure which is my favorite post on this thread.
At least my wife is finally starting to understand well enough that she has stopped asking about foods until she has looked at the packaging.5 -
