TEAM FIVE

I've been eating all of my colourful food, but the last two nights I've also found a stash of Halloween chocolate bars. So, my goal for tonight is to leave them alone! And only eat the healthy colourful stuff! Last night I made oven baked sweet potato fries and regular fries (white and orange). I have also been having some homemade sweet potato muffins made with whole grain flour (brown).
I did some more skipping this morning. I'm only at 9 minutes, but plan to do more today! I'm currently up to 216 consecutive skips as my record5 -

Wow! I'm good if I can get 50-60 in a row, although my record is 92. I think my rhythm gets off track when I start feeling fatigued.
I'm going to be out of pocket until Sat morning, but will try to get some exercise in tomorrow.
Reminder for everyone... if you know you aren't going to be able to complete any of the challenges because of sickness/injury/life, etc. please enter in Zero's in the spreadsheet so the rest of us know not to bug you about it at the end of the week. Thank you @CaptainBoing for doing so.
We're falling behind a bit, but I know some haven't had time to get minutes and challenges entered, but please try and enter them before the weekend.4 -
Just to really impress you @rusgolden , I went home today at lunch and did 308! That was my entire 3 minutes. My calves were burning (maybe numb) by the time I was done6

You folks are amazing with the jump rope!! I'm essentially the poster child for the second video (of what NOT to do). But, I'm done with the challenge FINALLY!
Great paddle today...super long, but pretty gentle - smooth-ish waters, low winds. Saw 1 dolphin, 3 sharks (1 bonnet head, 2 black tip), 15 blue crabs (usually only see 1 or 2, so today was pretty special), a few rays, lots of fish, pelicans, herons, sea gulls, an osprey, and some other birds that I don't know what they are called. Almost could imagine I was paddling the GBR in Australia...a fabulous paddle day!!
Tomorrow will be a light day for me, traveling to race location and having fun at the pre-race shrimp boil (yum!), but hoping to get to the gym in the morning (we'll see if I can do it). Saturday is only a 3 mile race, so low minutes, unless we stay out in the waves and I try some SUP surfing. Sunday will be a little bit of paddling to a Thanksgiving lunch on a sandbar in the area (about a mile), but my friend and I may paddle the long way back (about 2.6 miles RT). Should be a great weekend!3 -

I love jumping rope. I have nice high ceilings, so I just put on some kpop and start hopping in my living room.
Doing it on carpeting has its downfall. It'll catch and snap up and whip me.
However, my record for cross crossing the arms without messing up is 9. I really want to get to 10.3 -
I managed to finish the arm challenge yesterday before I left, so I won't be missing all those points.
My food so far is:
Monday: strawberries (red) and sweet potato (orange)
Tuesday: cucumber (green), tomato (yellow)
Wednesday: sweet potato (orange) and spinach (green)
Thursday: avocado (green) and tomato (red)
Colours used: green, red, orange, yellow,
Going to make sure I grab some blueberries today. Made this post so I can copy and paste when I make my official post as the weekend is going to be busy!2 -

Wednesday: Green (Spinach, jalapeño), Yellow (Sweet corn), Red (Tomato)
Thursday: Green (Spinach, Cucumber, Avocado), Purple (Raisin), Red (Strawberry, Apple), Yellow (Sweet Corn)3 -
@Miami: Is that your dad/uncle/grandfather? (My uncle, granddad, and grandmom are buried in Arlington.) I'm grateful to all who have served or are currently serving! I wish I could go to the local Veteran's Day parade today to show my support...
I am amazed how hard jumping rope is now. I remember doing it for hours --- that, and pogo-sticking!
A propos to nothing: I really wish we could comment on each others posting -- like you can on YouTube, for instance, or on the news feed here on MFP. I read all the postings and laugh or nod with appreciation... and you all so often don't know it! For whatever reason, I find it really hard to respond to everyone in my post. So, I'm sorry if I'm not very interactive. I really do appreciate everyone's comments, updates, and accomplishments!

Day 5: kale (green), cabbage (purple), carrot (orange), cilantro (green)
Colors eaten: red, orange, yellow, green, purple, brown, black, white
I've been writing down my exercise on a piece of paper...although some of it I've logged on MFP this week --- I just haven't updated on here yet as that piece of paper and my computer time seem to never be in the same place at the same time!4 -
My father @2run2ski, I also come from a military family. My biological, paternal grandfather served in the British Royal Army & all of my dad's brothers served. I also have several cousins who serve or have served in different branches in the U.S.
My family's a mini-UN, everyone married where they served, so cool.
Have a great weekend everyone!3 -
Happy Veterans Day in the US, and Rembrance Day in Canada, Europe and other locations!
Posting this now, even though I've not eaten my White and Yellow yet, but already have 3 colors for the day with my morning protein smoothie with berries. Pretty sure I won't have internet access much over the weekend since I'm staying with a friend for the race weekend, but will try to log from my phone. But wanted to post since I'm done with the third challenge @MissionEnforcer.
