    Good morning.

The week is going pretty well for me so far. Under my calorie goal both days. I haven't taken on the dancing yet, I will try to start that today. The hike won't be a problem but I think I'll plan it for Friday as the weather looks like it will be great that day - and then after Saturday afternoon things look like they are going down hill. Snow in the forecast for Sunday! And then 4 out of 5 days after that. Ugh. Fortunately I'll be leaving town to the only slightly warmer but no snow forecast midwest on Tuesday.

Last night I had a running group workout that went well - considering it was dark, cold, rainy and generally miserable. But other than that, just fine. I ran a pretty good pace for the intervals (for me) and my coach even commented how well I'm running. Nice to hear! That's my last workout with this group, as my official paid half-marathon training plan is over, so I'll switch back to just a regular running group through the winter. I don't know that I'll do another HM training in the spring, we'll see how much I miss this group :)

Stella and I are taking a slow start today. She's tired from a big day of training and day care yesterday, and I'm tired from my workout. Work is going to be blissfully quiet today as most of the department are out of town at a convention so I'm taking advantage and going in late. I should be able to get more done with less stress for the rest of the week. And then it is break time!

I actually finished the hiking challenge today as my running miles for the last 3 days add up to 11.1 miles outdoor running. I still plan to do an actual hike with Stella on Friday if I can, but the challenge is taken care of.

I am also on track for day 3 of being under my calorie goal.

So now to just start working on those videos.

    3 days videos done,
    3 days logged and under
    miles done.

I have to make certain to get everything done next week before Thanksgiving because we leave on Friday for Europe!!! I'm hopeful I can do the following week's challenges. I will have wifi but no gym or workout gear with me. I plan to walk a crap ton though!

Now it's time for this chick to go to bed, I'm tired!

Finished my walking this week think we did 8 or 9 miles so far. Getting used to it for our Disneyland trip next weekend.
Finished all 4 videos twice yesterday. And did the chicken one a few times again just for fun. My dogs think I am crazy.
3 days tracking completed stayed under calorie goal but didn't make to healthy of choices today. ☹️ it was one of those days was just hungry.

Sounds like we're focused and getting it done as team! Way to go! I finished hiking challenge last night. Just finished videos this morning. So far 3 days under goal. Let's keep that Number 1 position!

WE ARE 90% OF THE WAY THERE! LET'S ARRIVE TODAY! B)

I have the videos done, should finish the miles today (I'm doing short legs on my breaks at work), and the calorie count doesn't seem to be a problem.

I need to leave town this weekend, so I don't think I will have very many numbers Saturday or Sunday. Can someone else do them for me? ;)

Looks like y'all are doing an awesome job! :)

I just added my minutes for today and we are back in first and 94% there! Going out to lunch with the girls and will try and be a good girl since I have a big party to go to Saturday night and definitely won't be logging. Would like to get the logging part done tomorrow!

Got 2 miles of outside walking in today @MissionEnforcer while waiting for my daughter to meet us at the hotel. Kind of out of my comfort zone being in Chicago since I come from a small town but the neighborhood is very nice. Seeing lots of planes coming in to land at the airport.
So I think I'm up to 3 miles now. Will have to do the last mile on Saturday or Sunday. I have 4 days staying under so far so only 1 to go.
You guys are doing magnificent! Haven't been able to read much but I know you all are troopers!!!

Great job, everyone in making it to our destination!

I took 2 dog walks with Stella today, a shorter one in the am and long one after work. Crazily enough, I ran into the same buck on both of those walks! This morning in the park by my house there he was standing right in the middle of the park, which is down a hill/embankment from the street, as I walked by. It looked at me and Stella and didn't move. Then after we passed I watched it go up the embankment toward the street and then it must have darted back into the tree cover. Tonight as we walked back past the park in the dark, right at that same embankment - I looked over and my head lamp shined right on him. He was RIGHT THERE probably 10 feet away from me. I said HOLY *kitten* and fortunately he darted back away from us. I know it was the same one because I was looking at his antlers. It was a pretty small buck but still. Too close for comfort. Weird that he was hanging out in that same spot.

So, anyway, minutes logged and stayed under calories again today for a total of 4 days. Hopefully will finish off that challenge tomorrow. I promise I will get to the dancing, it just hasn't felt like a dancing kind of week yet. Tonight's walk was 3.64 miles and this morning was over a mile, so I completed the hiking challenge as a walk, as well as doing it as 8 miles of running. Double the fun! I'm really trying to enjoy this mild weather before the snow comes this weekend :(:'(

@mamaelf2008 -enjoy this time and good job keeping up with the challenges while life happens!

@katharmonic-very cool about the buck but that close one would be a little too close for me!

I can't believe I LEAVE FOR PARIS IN ONE WEEK!!! OMG I can't believe it's almost here and I have so much to do and zero business playing golf again! But I'm taking advantage of the incredible weather we are having. I just will have to hit warp drive when I get home this afternoon. I need one more day being under to get my 5 points then I will have completed all the challenges.

What's everybody's real life plans for the weekend?

My plans are very boring...last weekend I torn out the carpet and wallpaper in our laundry/mud room (who carpets a laundry/mudroom???) and this weekend I hope to have the walls prepped and maybe even the primer on. Hoping to attend a stag and doe tomorrow night and we are off to a hockey game Sunday afternoon.

Here are some pictures from my hike today... I ended up getting the trails mixed up and ended up on a much longer hike than expected. Though it worked out because I had tracked it to be about 3 and a half miles. Plus I'd already done a mile walk with the pup earlier in the week. So that challenge is now complete. I've also done the videos! Keep chugging team 1! 15254b2dcaab7f5478ab-y7ka7t0i8yf0.jpg

So beautiful, I miss trails like that! I have to drive a little bit if I want a trail like that. I envy you

Absolutely doesn't have to be consecutive. Just a total of 5 days

In @katharmonic neck of the woods. Hiked Watkins Glen gorge trail in the NY Finger Lakes. Then wineries. Having dinner and spending the night in a very nice one Glenora. Tommorow meeting my sister for Christmas shopping then other family members for my 60th birthday dinner. Head back to Ohio Sunday. 60 is a celebration in my case! My parents and my older sister all died in 50s. I'm still skiing and cycling so life is good! Also 7 years maintaining a healthy weight thanks to MFP and these amazing races!!!
