@k80flec Hoping for a speedy recovery for you and your hubby.

Started vacation at 0700 this morning. I'm off for twelve days, then go back for one whole shift before leaving the job - the joys of giving two weeks notice with vacation scheduled. We had a salad party last night for me, the last two shifts have not been busy and chaotic, I was hoping for chaos so it would just reinforce my desire to leave. When the coworkers are nice, it's just weird.

Gorgeous day out so adding 4.3 miles of walking, a few of those steps were walking around a big black snake right in the middle of the path. We both chose the same direction so I swerved the other way. #thingsyoudontseeonatreadmill

@k80flec : Hope you a re feeling better very soon.

@kar: I feel like you. Chaos is almost what I have been experiencing every day. I asked God to clearly give me signs that I need to get out and I am getting pounded with them. My work has become very toxic. I feel sad but it is time for me to move on.

@Dave: All day yesterday, I kept saying, "Is there a full moon?" and never realized it was Fri., 13th.

Adding 15 miles today. I should lose about 3 pounds today. I never stopped. First out for a run, shopping at Sam's, garlic planting from 10 to noon, finished building my raised bed, 2.5 hours of pushing a mower, 2 hours of raking leaves and sucking them up in my lawn vac for my compost bin. Off to unload my trailer of the last of compost and shoveling and wheeling 8 cart fills to my new raised bed. Walked the pups...and I am pooped.
    TTD: 165 miiles

I tutor a special needs teenager 3 days a week. There are times where I am at wits end. Those are the days I want an outdoor ride. Today would have been perfect but.......it was 37 F this morning, foggy and damp. It didn't really warm up much all day. So in I stayed.

10/08 - 16.0 miles cycling (out on the road, no wind but rode between rains storms. But really cold, 40F all day)
10/08 - 09.0 miles turbo trainer (mopped up the mileage target for today, warmer indoors)
    10/09 - 02.0 miles rest day walk
10/10 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (well looks like the rainy season has officially started here in the Pacific NW)
10/11 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (split workouts, lots of stuff to do today)
10/12 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (split workouts, lots of stuff to do today, taking/picking up grand daughter from Head Start)
10/13 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (after 3 days tutoring a special needs teenager I am pretty knackered)
10/14 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (got the sunshine, 37 F, but snow on the Coast Range, very low elevation)

    Total: 282.0 miles

Sounds like it's time for a change for you too. Toxic is no good for the mind or the body. It was a scary decision, but the fact that I feel at peace with it makes me realize it's the right one. I need to start eliminating negative/toxic situations and people from my life and this will do a big chunk of that. Hope you find your answers.

Thanks. It's mostly going to be me running around doing a lot of errands before my weekdays are no longer open. This week I'm seeing the gynecologist and dentist on the same day :smiley: Tomorrow I plan to go to the NC State Fair and eat fried things. And make it my weekly no logging day. But I've done things like buy a new work bag and water bottle. My current ones are fine, but I really want to start fresh if that makes sense.

    Adding 2 miles today.

@Kar: I think we both will be a lot happier when it is all said and done.

Oct. 15: Lots of school work today. Have been at it since 11 AM this morning and it is now 9PM. Adding only 10 miles today. Got two dog walks in and raked up some more leaves before it rained and got them ground in my compost bin.
