And that's GOAL for @CPANUS and @CLEPANT!!! :drinker:
@KAR328 - Sorry you won't be able to do your TRX class regularly, but maybe you can pop in when you have a day off from time to time.
@CLEPANT - My heart goes out to you. Sorry you have so much going on and then on top of that to have to go cover the special needs room....UGH...I don't know how you keep it together. Sending strength and prayers. And maybe Dean's gorilla tape idea isn't such a farfetched thought either...

Dave
Thanks. I do plan to do that. I really like this instructor and will miss her. There are Saturday morning classes I'll probably try at some point, but I know they're very popular and fill up fast as well. TRX was the first class I did regularly when I started this weight loss journey so it's special to me. If anyone's never tried it and has the chance, I highly recommend it.
FYI - Facebook with their annoying "this is what you posted x number of years ago today" thing gave me my "before" picture this morning. It's the one on the far left of my profile pic here. It was taken five years ago, and I started trying to lose weight as my New Year's resolution. It was a good opportunity to look back and see how far I've come, especially when I have those days where the scale doesn't move and I still see 248 lbs in the mirror.
I went to the NC State Fair today and ate yummy things. I decided wisely to make this my weekly no logging day I'm going to add 2 miles even though I did more than that.

Oct. 19: Four hours of sleep and looks like another night of them doing school work. My pup is walking okay and the tail is wagging but he has anal sac cancer with a secondary spread to the lymph node in the stomach. Onward to surgery and probably chemo to buy some time with him. Been down this road numerous times. Praise God for having pet insurance on both these guys after my my former dog's $20,000.00 medical bills.
One more day of my obstacle course and 2 hours of tearing it down tomorrow night.
Adding 12 miles today of purposeful walking and running.
TTD: 222 miles
Both my pups are failing. The one on left just diagnosed and one on right is lame.

I just finished a glorious 20 mile run. After all my belly aching about how I'm having trouble getting motivated, a day like this comes along to remind me how much I love to run. Sunny and dry, with a cooling north breeze. I wasn't fast but I was very steady and strong and loved every mile (ok maybe not the last couple, but I didn't hate them). I think I'm ready for the New York marathon in two weeks!
I'm at 57/75.
@Lisah8969 - don't give up! Motivation comes and goes but pride from keeping going is forever.
@clepant - such beautiful dogs. When they're not doing well we wonder why we put ourselves through so much pain and worry and expense, but then we remember how empty our lives would be without them. Hope your dad is doing better too. This is quite the year for you. <<hugs>>
I'm just back from California checking on my parents who are doing pretty well given their age.2 -
@clepant .... You and your family will be in my prayers....0
