When you accuse the barista at Starbucks of adding in three packets of Splenda to your iced tea when she swears she only put in one, and you spit out diet lemonade from Chick Fil A you used to love because suddenly, Splenda is grossly over-sweet even though you used to use it on everything!

Ha! I know all the folks at all of the Starbucks in Winston-Salem, NC. And, they all know me. They know better!

CICO , I find it so funny , that folks who really believe this will actually fight you , they will say that this woe is wrong and we will just get fat again if we eat like we use too LOL well yeah duh . I think we are more tolerant, because we are full !! LOL

My tummy is happy even if I don't eat! When I ate carbs all day I had to eat all day! I love being not ruled by my cravings anymore!

    This^^^^👏👏👏

.... when you don't have to worry about your co-workers sneaking your lunch food from the communal fridge 'cause they're like.... oooohhw, the FAT!!'
Always a good supply of nut butters, pepperoni, and pickle juice, lol.

You have purse salt, pink salt in a baggie for emergencies.

Purse salt, car salt, and desk salt.

They didn't have any salt stocked at work. Pepper, yes. Salt, no. I had to bring my own saltshaker. :noway:

In a desperate moment I realized a credit card can be used to slice an avocado. Yes I was that hungry.

Now that was resourceful of you, congrats, well done.

It's the sodium in it. It helps fight off keto flu by replenishing your sodium. It's not the only way to do this but it is one of the fastest in my experience.

when supper is pepperoni, beef, and a peanut butter, cocoa, and veggie smoothie. My favorite ways to get salt are pepperoni and Parmesan cheese though I'm not keto.

Sadly, I've been drinking the pickle juice, and green olive juice, far longer than I've been low carb...it's just sooooo yuuuuuuum! Even my kids know, when you finish the jar, you leave the jar with juice in the refrigerator.

Not only do you eat pickles, you drink the pickle juice too, like it is a cocktail.

And you soak all your chicken in pickle juice and a little heavy cream for your own a flavorful "buttermilk". 😋😉

Or you throw your peeled hb eggs in the pickle juice and leave 'em for a week, til they're yummiest.

    - You have an extremely specific and confusing Starbucks order that no one is going to be able to order for you in the office, even if you write it all down (No classic! Extra heavy whipping cream!)
    quote]

Ventti Iced Americano, Light-Heavy whipping cream, 2 pumps sugar free vanilla, 2 sweeteners, blended

When you see a TV ad for dog food with pictures of the meats included in it, and it looks so much more appealing than the ad just before for a chain restaurant that was showing pasta and potato side dishes to breaded meats.

You're reading your Gramma's 1942 Women's Home Companion Cookbook and notice the party cocktails include sauerkraut juice (who knew that was a 'thing' then??), but you also notice how many breaded, crumbed, frittered, coated recipes there were :anguished:
