I am totally ok with this gain--pretty sure it's water--lots of fun treats this week for the 4th! I am feeling really good about my body and my food and exercise choices. I can tell I have lost FAT and gained MUSCLE-been doing Fitness Blender Strong and it's showing!

Well I didn’t get on the scale this morning bc 😬 all the damn good 4th food! I did eat more bun then planned (holy they were HUGE buns!) but I feel I did pretty well. Stayed away from the sweets too! 🍻 Cheers to the weekend and working out and watching what I put into my body more! One day at a time!2

The day after, and feeling good about my food & drink choices yesterday. Loads of good & less good choices of food to choose from. I stuck mostly with the "good" stuff. Was on my feet most of the day, starting early in the morning prepping food, then headed over to my friends house, we co-hosted the party. Spent a bunch more time on my feet... keeping busy was good for me, kept me away from just grazing all day. Back to work today, I am already tired! Bowling tonight. Happy Friday Everyone!2

I pulled my food scale out to figure out why my weight isn't budging. I AM EATING SO MUCH FOOD! Time to go at it hard. I really want to see it go down by my next weigh in!2 -

Good plan, @SuzanneElizabeth16! I am getting stricter at weighing and measuring everything. I am also upping my water. My scale hasn't moved in about 5 weeks and I'm pretty much over it!!
@elisepfliger04, it's hard to do but being mindful of what we're putting in our bodies is proof that we're on the right track. Good job staying away from the sweets. My personal downfall!
@looneycatblue, good job staying busy and not grazing. I always try to keep my water bottle in my hand when I'm at parties to keep from picking things up. I have started socializing away from the food tables too. That seems to help, too. It's so hard!1 -

I pray that you receive strength to battle this problem. I know when I am hurting, I will emotional eat in the short run. I just want comfort food and people during my difficulty. My sister and brother in law moved in with us from our of state this weekend. My eating /drinking habits have not been healthy at all lately. But even though I gained some weight, some of my jeans are too loose around my waist. So that was a welcome surprise!2 -
