....I did Arc instead of spin.... there was a sub instructor for spin when I got there tonight, whom Iβve had beforeβ she plays slow country music πΆ and is very off on her jump timings.... so Iβm out... canβt take it. Lol π I burned more on the Arc though and got more steps in!1 -

GOOD MORNING TEAM
I HAD MY PSYCHIATRIST VISIT YESTERDAY..... THE ONLY REASON I SEE HER IS SHE IS MONITORING MY MED WELLBUTRIN FOR DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY. I ALSO SEE A SOCIAL WORKER FOR THE NITTY GRITTY PART OF THIS CONDITION.
I WAS PROGRESSED TO EVERY 4 MONTH VISITS NOW THAT A HUGE JUMP... THE HARD WORK PAID OFF... STILL; GOT SOME ISSUES TO RESOLVE BUT DAMM 4 MOS.. I AM GOOD WITH THAT ... GOTTA GET MY IMPULSE TO KICK *kitten* RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE UNDER CONTROL... AND WORK ON BEING TRUE TO ME... SO I CONTINUE THE BATTLE WITH THIS CONDITION AND HOPEFULLY ONE DAY I'LL BE ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT THE MEDICATION.

I so wish I could go out for a walk or even get my yard squared away... This damn knee is making me feel so helpless. I am still hanging strong, but getting weaker by the minute, at some point my luck is going to have to change and get back on the upclimb again...
So my knee keeps re-injuring and is getting worst even with the PT. PT is now thinking we are going to have to re-book with MD for re-evaluation to determine if the tear has separated or has formed a flap. Pain is still severe and when it feels a bit better, it seems to shift and then slam, it spikes and gets intense again.
To top that off, I got a flu shot and of course every time I get a flu shot I get sick, so guess what - yup - I am sick with some upper respiratory thing that just sux! Then, my right thumb got infected and had to be lanced and drained and I am now on antibiotic... Finally, when I thought the worst was over - my furnace dies and we have an unexpected expense we can't afford right now...
I could sure use a simple victory in here at some point... got a patient, be back to continue later!

Dietician: Tips for increasing fiber. Seems I either do well on protein or fiber but not both! Also what are good foods to fill and satisfy and easy to prepare while being low in calories (or "worth" the calories)? Is IF more effective at weight loss or just a strategy for reducing calories?
When to eat carbs - morning/evening or before or after workout? Same for protein. How much does it matter? What about fruit (berry) smoothies in the morning...healthy or insulin spike and shock to system after fasting overnight?
Athlete: If I consistently only have 40 minutes daily for a good workout, what is a good strategy between strength training and cardio? What are some fun, low impact ways to burn calories? Are pre- and post-workout drinks really needed to optimize muscle building or can I just eat a healthy meal afterwards? How much stretching should I be doing and recommendations for stretches. Same for core work.
Medical doctor: Sell me on the benefits of weight (fat) loss, even 10 pounds! Gluteus medius tear that doesn't seem to heal - should I be considering surgery or live with it and just avoid what aggravates it?1 -
GOOD AFTERNOON WARRIORS .... THE LAST FEW DAYS I HAVE IN TACOMA GETTING A BATTERY OF TESTS AND ULTRA SOUNDS. I WILL CONFER WITH DOC BERG ON THURSDAY COMING AS TO WHAT OUR BATTLE PLAN WILL BE DOWN THE ROAD. HERE IS HOW THE LAST FEW DAYS HAVE TURNED OUTTODAY MY FRIENDS I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HEPATIC STENOSIS OTHER WISE KNOW AS FATTY LIVER DISEASE. I ALSO HAVE A Sluggish flow is visualized within the right greater saphenous vein. THIS IS MY CALF OF THE RIGHT LEG. THIS LEG HAS BEN BEAT UP TREMENDOUSLY OVER THE YEARS. THEY TOOK NEW MY PROSTHETIC BRACE AWAY TO DO SOME MORE CUSTOMIZATION TO SO IT WORKS BETTER WITH MY ILEOSTOMY. I DO BELIEVE THAT DOC BERG IS GOING TO PUT IN ME COMPRESSIONS SOCK FOR BOTH LEGS BECAUSE OF THE SLUGGISH FLOW.
I DO BELIEVE THAT JESSICA MY NUTRITIONIST WITH A SLEW OF ALPHABET LETTERS BEHIND HER NAME WILL REVAMP MY MEAL PLAN AFTER THIS NEWS.
DOC BARKIN MY SHRINK HAS HELD ME STEADY WITH MY WELLBUTRIN AND HAS PUSHED TO A 4 MONTH CHECK IN IN THE FUTURE SO THE HARD WORK I HAVE BEEN DOING WITH MY ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IS WORKING. I STILL HAVE A FEW ISSUES TO RESOLVE, BUT IT'S A WORK IN PROGRESS AND MUCH BETTER THAN IT WAS A FEW MONTHS AGO.
NOW ON THE BRIGHT SIDE THIS WASN'T LIKE WHAT COACH NATALIE DID AND KICKED CANCERS *kitten*, BUT I TOOK THIS DEPRESSION AND THIS ANXIETY CRAP AND KICKED IT TO THE CURB. SO YEAH I KICKED IT *kitten* ALL THE WAY TO THE CURB!!!
I AM SURE THAT DOC BERG AND JESSICA AND I WILL FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT AND MOVE FORWARD TO MAKE ME HEALTHIER IN THE FUTURE

Steve.... sending you my thoughts and prayers for healing all around---sounds like you have been through the ringer lately between your knee, illness and now the thumb tooπ£π.... hang in there my friend. You are getting the care you need and hopefully they can give you whatever means necessary to heal that knee so you are pain free and mobile again.
