I took a hike this morning with my boyfriend and our fur babies. It was peaceful and we only came across one person during the entire hike! Both dogs were exhausted afterwards, but they loved it!

I am happy to say I have stuck to low carb/keto all week! I have stayed under 50 net carbs each day, with one day in the 40s, a couple in 30s and 20s, and one day below 20! The hardest thing is that I'm still eating my fruit, just not as much! I am learning certain berries add up quicker than you realize! I am also dying for a cookie, and unfortunately there is an abundance of them in our cabinets 😬 I'm staying good and trying to find alternative recipes for such goodness!

Great work! What beautiful pictures; it sounds like a great day. :)

Congrats to those with nice wins last week!

My weekend plans (and three day weekend) got thrown a curveball. My wife and I either ate something that got us sick or had a 24hr bug. Needless to say I did not get out for any walks or really track my food on Sat/Sun.

Positive news: feeling much better and I already got my exercise in today. Let’s all kick this last week of July!
(also can’t believe it’s the last week of July...)

    HELP!!!

So, I had a really good week last week and a good weekend and today I just CANNOT stop eating!! I keep going to the kitchen poking around trying to figure out what I can eat next. I can't even focus on work, I just keep thinking "what ELSE can I eat?" I've already had my daily fun size pack of M&Ms, which is usually my after dinner treat. Thank God there are no vinegar chips or chocolate chip cookies in the house is all I can say.

How do you cope with these things? I've drunk water, and coffee (hoping to satisfy my sweet tooth), tried going for a walk but with the heat index I don't want to leave the AC. :#

Walk in the room! No need to get dehydrated outside- it's disgusting out here, too! And I'm struggling wanting sweets, too! I wish I had a good suggestion for the sweets!

Today was pretty good. Work dragged on for quite a while, but it wasn't a bad day overall.

I was still craving something sweet today, so I made a "keto coconut bar" and it came out tasting awesome - kind of mounds-like, despite not looking great! It is currently cut and in the freezer for occasional snacking!
    q212n1yxxhf3.jpg
    Recipe:
    3 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
    1 cup melted coconut oil
    2 tbsp Swerve(my preferred sweetener)
1 bar Lily's Dark Baking Chocolate

Mix coconut, oil and sweetener together. Press into parchment/wax lined 8x8 baking pan. Place in freezer. Melt chocolate. Remove pan from freezer and spread chocolate over top. Top with a few coconut flakes. Freeze 1-2 hours before serving!

Makes 16 servings, 215 calories each

I am sorry. I have been traveling and was off the grid and diet for a few days. Decided to move to CT for a couple months. Living with the parents. I got on their scale and it says 145. Since I know I haven’t lost 80lbs in one week, I am going to assume it’s broken. I am back on the diet today and will try finding a working scale by the end of the week. I think coming to CT was a good move for me. My parents have a backyard, a lake to swim in, and hiking trails up the street.

Keep up the good work everyone!

@schmonthei where in CT did you move to? I am in Middletown area :) I hope everything works out for you!

I just tried a delicious new fruit I haven't tried before: Sugar Kiss Melon; a super sweet, very tender cantaloupe. It might be good for sugar cravings.
