I would like to stay on the step challenge for 6000, please.
Personally, I am aiming for 6/7 or 5/7, not the 3/7 I had some weeks in January!

Happy Thursday Everyone. My WI is tomorrow, and I am not expecting good things. I have had a really bad week. Good Steps Mo, Tu, but yesterday I was feeling awful again. But I am working on things. Steps are done for today, and I am ready to buckle down after a scare last night. A little nighttime nervous breakdown. I should have gotten up and checked in here!
So three big changes started here today for my health.
1. No added sugar or dessert or candy for a while. I need a break.
2. Drinking hot beverages, mostly a little lemon water or hot tea.
3. Reset my calorie goals to 2 lbs per week and tracked AND MEASURED.
Y'all, I am on a diet. I am not just trying to lose a couple of pounds, I am trying to turn my LIFE around. Time to get serious. This is not extreme, just plain dedication.
I know my WI tomorrow won't show anything, but I did not want to wait to get things going.
So that means my favorite kitchen gadget for the foreseeable future is my Mueller electric kettle. Boiling water on demand!5 -

Steps - 4802.
Calories - 1712 or close.
Exercise - none. Hypotension kicked up today so I stayed sitting down for most of the day. Went to grocery store for a couple items and a furniture store to price things. I had to cancel my blood donation appt because of it. Hope it stops soon.5 -

I didn't take lunch to work so I got a burrito. BUT I got a vegan burrito so no extra calories from cheese or sour cream.5 -

Exercise: 60 minutes strength training and stretching
Steps: 7,930
My knees are pretty sore from physical therapy yesterday - if they feel better, I'm going to try to get on the elliptical today. I'm going to be extremely busy today and through the weekend. We have our big PetExpo this weekend - it's the largest fundraiser that we have for our animal rescue each year. Please keep your fingers crossed that people attend - we had to cancel last year because of Covid. I hope you are all having a great day!!6 -

I am glad this week did so little damage. I binged a couple of days so that wiped out a possible loss. It’s been a hard week between worrying about my granddaughter, not being in the pool( vaccine effects and ear infection) and sleep issues. I have started an antibiotic and I am hoping to be back in the pool Sunday or Monday. For today, I am setting a timer for every 30 minutes to get up and do a mini walk. My goal is to do a total of 30 minutes.
I apologize that I haven’t been responding to all post. I have entered all the weights in the spreadsheet and I am reading everyone’s posts. You guys inspire me daily.
