That's a good report on the leg malfunction! Improvement or reprieves are all good.

Yep...wimping out comes easy these days. I am back in my disturbed rest cycles so am up and down a lot, waking at 1 AM, napping twice a day...got up at 9:20 this morning and still was ready for a nap at 2 PM....
With the swelling on the right side, it's not so comfy laying on that side to read...and laying on my left side makes my eyes go wonky....so...I am up, playing for awhile at 11:30...

I didn't do my tilapia for dinner so it's on the plan for tomorrow. It's a quick fix. I'll steam or microwave some veggies to go with it. I have one bottle of tea left....and then I'll need to make my own. It's been a nice treat. I'm still waiting on this guy....veikyqj9jl9e.jpg

Heeheehee! I have one of those guys full time! It is really nice.

We went into town yesterday for an appointment and ate out at No Name Pizza, probably just a local Italian and other stuff restaurant. I got a pastrami sandwich with saurkraut and some Thousand Island Dressing on toasted bread. It was very good. I ate half of it and about 1/3 of my fries, the rest came home with us. Wade had the lasagna. Yummers. Then I forgot to pick up my meds at CVS! Oh brother. Well, Wade likes to go into town two or three times a week, so it shouldn't be a problem. I have enough for another couple of weeks. We have a pork loin in the crockpot for tonight.

Oh boy, I was just doing a massage on my arms, trying to move some fluid, and my elbows are really soft - hmmm? I don't remember feeling that before. It's nice. The tops of my legs are soft because I put Hemp pain cream on them every night. I probably just need to put it all over! LOL!

Well, y'all have a great day. Try to stay cool. Love you

I need to be doing some of that for my legs and arms. Can't reach my poor feet for any proper attention. My skin is super dry.
I've got another rash going on my right elbow. Keeping an eye on it and praying it doesn't explode like the one on my left elbow some years back and the awful cellulitis on my shoulder. Our bodies can get moody real quick like.

I can almost eat normally again and can smile with my whole face. I have just a little swelling left and the bruise on the chin.

I had two full days down after sleepless nights but last night was much better. I'm thankful for the good rest I get...and for feeling better so I can get some chores done.
I have the dishwasher going again and am playing in the fridge, cleaning, sorting and disposing of produce gone bad. I'm using my stool for the task...I need to sort my cabinets, freezer etc...but that requires standing so has to be done in my 5 minute sprints.

I got my Tilapia grilled last night. It was really good. I have another filet thawed that I'll do today...no mac and cheese as that's gone. It was part of my soft foods selections and I do have a pack of the mashed potatoes to have...then back to more "cooking"....normal stuff.6is44gy6blhn.jpg

Surprisingly, that look like a yummy supper! I'm going to do Wade's leftover lasagna for lunch. Not sure what dinner will be though.

Did you see the debate? It was really sad to see how much Biden couldn't say clearly and how lost he got. It's scary thinking that this man is the leader of our country. Leaders of other countries have to keep an eye on him and help him when he starts to wander - this needs to stop! He needs help, and whoever is running the show behind him needs to do the right thing for him and this country!

I hope that y'all have a wonderful weekend. Get good rest and a happy Lord's Day. Love you.

I saw bits and pieces of the debate. That was a sad example of what we've had in leadership...tho he's only the puppet....and "manageable" to achieve the evil his "masters" have in mind.

I got my fridge done...hooya...I did a shelf at a time, then the door so took four stages and 4 breaks to finish. I will attempt to keep it tidy now. That's the beats it's looked all year.

Thank you! I love tilapia...I had the other filet for lunch with a steamer bag...the Power Bowl...with black beans, corn, peppers and brown rice with chili seasoning.

My bathroom is flooded again...out into the hallway. Plumbers are at work and I know I'm not the only one in trouble. I'm waiting for my Wal-Mart delivery, then I'm going down for a nap...I am fading fast!

As far as the debate--The real "B" has been gone. The guy looked like a robot. Did he look real to you? Look closely. Then the next day his eye color changed, as well as other features. This show is getting to be laughable. It can't possibly be much longer, for the military to reveal what has really been going on behind the scenes! Did y'all hear Pres. Trump call him Brandon? That was funny.

Trump really held back in this debate. I can't see Biden making it to another debate - but the stand-in might show up! I heard that Biden can't just go off the ticket, he's already been chosen by the prelim voters as their choice, even though there hasn't been the Convention yet. Quite a bit will have to be gone through to get him off of the ballots. It's rather complicated. The Obamas and Clintons better get busy!

That second plate looked yummy, Bren! Wade made me a pepperoni, mozzarella quesadilla with some parmesan on top - that was yummy! We'll watch out eating this week and try to get some exercise in. Fatigue is just fighting against me! Thunder kept me awake last night so I am having to prop up my eyelids this morning! (Big yawn)

    Love y'all bunches.

    Amen!

Okay, tell me if this happens to you. I get to the page with our group choices and I put my icon on my choice and the page suddenly jumps (finishing its downloading)? Argh! I need to be more patient.

Our government is such a sad state of affairs, with all the box checkers Biden put in place and himself riding on Obama's shirt tails and Michelle looking at perhaps an option for her to jump on the wagon. However....whoever is in office...our God is on the throne and nothing escapes His notice.

Maintenance has been in and out today. I got my new burner on the stove and can cook properly...hooya! The towels/rugs were picked up...Mary will wash them and return them to me. My bathroom sink had to be replaced as it was rusted out, causing the leaking and they are doing that now. Oh yay! A big industrial fan was brought in to dry my carpet. They will pick it up tomorrow. I was glad they didn't have to pull carpet up like they have in the past. Oh...and tomorrow, they will come in and repair my ceiling in the bathroom, and replace tiles around my tub that have been loose, falling out and looking grody for a few years. I am blessed!

Marilyn...it's so good to see you. Continued prayers for all of us here. God knows our names and needs and has us in His care. Love you all.

Oh No! I just saw that the dentist did not get all of that bottom tooth that crumbled as he was pulling it! I am NOT going back as he'd have to cut me to get what's left!

I've been having angina issues since last month...the stress of my brother's death and the memorial service was so much beyond normal for me...and then 3 full weeks of dental issues right after that...a week of pain, a week of antibiotics and waiting and a week of healing and now to see there's still part of a tooth there...ack! I'm hoping it settles down with continued healing of the dental thing....and stops happening several times a day. It's rather disturbing.

My nifty new sink with a swivel faucet....I like it.ln3arnpxsm67.jpg

oooo, pretty! So glad you are getting these upgrades. I'm sorry that you are going through so much right now and your heart isn't happy about it. I wish I could take some of this off of you! My heart has been beating faster even with my med, so I started taking an extra 1/2 a pill. I told my NP and this new prescription adds that half a pill extra! So glad. Some days even the 1/2 pill doesn't help, but overall it does. I'm doing pretty good right now even with all the things that I have that can go wrong! I am down to 238 again and so happy about that. I've cut some breakfast calories out (not always drinking my protein drink with my Aussie Bite, just having coffee with creamer. That cuts out about 150 calories! Now I just need to not add them somewhere else!

Have a blessed day. Stop and rest and meditate on the Lord. Love you

Having a good day - though the vertigo and the 2 sores on my tailbone are getting me - but will see the doctor tomorrow to get help with them.

Went to Tops this morning and scale showed I have lost 5 pounds = now I am at 232 and by the end of July I will be down into the 220's for sure = working now on one pound a week which is doable

Blood pressure was good today 126 / 80 with pulse 59 Tested for diabetes (finger prick) and it was 5.2 (Canadian = for US multiply by 18) So am ok with that. Funny how my numbers re diabetic are lower then when I was taken medication - docs are now saying I was on too many meds = and now am only one ones that I truly need such as an Iron pill, something for cholesterol, baking soda for acid reflux and a needle once a week for some hormone that was not working properly.

Kidney function is still low (now at 9) and should it get to 6 for 2 months I will have to have diaylsis ( I am in what they call end of stages re kidney failure) but the Lord has blessed me with 22 months no diaylsis and am praying that it will stay this way for a long time as the diaylis would help but the change of lifestyle with the need to be on dialysis 4 hours at a time x 3 days a week. So the more I can do to keep myself healthy the better.

Drinking lots of water, not having food with salt is a big thing. And they are now asking me to make sure I walk for 10 minutes a day and workit up to 20 - 30 minutes that is a new goal for me.

Big thing is no processed food - I didnt realize how much of it I was eating - and proessedd food just is not good for our organs - especially the kidneys.

Thanks for the update Marilyn....Praying with you...that you can hold on much longer without dialysis as you're doing everything you can and trusting God for the heavy lifting. You inspire me...to do my kitchen inventory and bag up some things for the neighbor. Under duress, I've been really careless for so very long....using highly processed and sodium loaded things for "convenience" to the detriment of my health. The back pain has been so bad the past few days that it's a real push to accomplish the simplest tasks.

Thank you, Kim! I know you would share my burden despite your own! I'm hoping I will improve with better diet, some physical activity, rest in Jesus and calming of the internal things that are stressful at the moment. I've really been off the path of late.
I did call my dentist to let them know of the tooth remnant issue and she said to let them know right away if it causes any problems, but it should work itself out thru the gum...ack. I mentioned the money thing...and she said if he did it there would just be a small charge as I'd already paid for the extractions. $225 per tooth...plus the $169 initial visit...more stress factors! I am so thankful for my savings...but pray I don't have to do this ever again!
Another FB friend said she had that happen and used tweezers to pull the piece out and it healed right up. I'm a big weenie....don't wanna do that!

Mary brought my towels and rugs back. I'm waiting now for them to do the bathroom work before I put things back. I have one mat down to avoid slipping in there but know it will be messy to pull down the saggy ceiling and ratty tiles.

I sent a note to my Endo guy for refills and that now has them all back at Walgreens instead of the mail order pharmacy my insurance switched to. I have 4 in the delivery cue at Walgreens. It costs $3.99 for delivery so I waited until the two new ones were ready to process...instead of getting two at a time...I'll get all four.

It's nearly 1 AM...and I'll go back to bed in a bit...have a blessed day at your spots on the map....Prayers for Missy and her girl as they make ready for the baby, Blessings for all...

OOO, how about chewing a piece of gum and seeing if that will pull it out? I'm just wondering, if it doesn't come out, the gums could just grow over that piece of tooth. If there isn't any root left in it it shouldn't cause a problem! I think I had a sliver of tooth left after I had my wisdom teeth out and it finally did work its way out. Mine was below the gum line so I couldn't do the tweezers trick!
So glad you are getting those things checked by your doctor!

Marilyn, your numbers are looking so good. That 9, even though you are just shy of needing dialysis, is still three points above that six, and higher than some of your past numbers. Praising the Lord and praying for continued healing! Keep standing strong in doing what will help you.

Missy, praying for strength as you are helping out with two households! How is your husband doing?

I was able to do some walking yesterday and did some no-weight arm exercises. Am going to get some walking in today but won't do the arm stuff because I don't want to mess myself up and not be able to go to Worship Service tonight.

Wade and I are getting close to what we are going to do for my Medicare, adding some stuff to the A and B. In the long run I will be paying less overall even though my monthly costs will be higher than I wish they were. I am especially thinking about when I initially get it and the tests that my NP wants me to have. I would love an MRI from my knees to my head, but they usually just do my back. I would also love to have my hormones checked. In the past they were tanked and that may be why my thermostat is off.

Hope y'all have an awesome day and a blessed time of worship this evening. Love you

I worked 4 hours in my garden in the heat. It is looking nice.
I am exhausted right now, but I am getting a nice tan. I soaked up a LOT of vitamin D today!
    Happy 4th To everyone!
My hubby is doing much better. He still has some swelling, but so much better than it was. Thanks for asking Kim.
I go over my daughters every day that she is working and clean up etc. I took her doggie yesterday to get her stitches out of her eye. Not sure if I mentioned her beagle dog, that I take care of. She injured her eye the vet said that led to the other stuff. She lost her eye, and I took her to get stitches out yesterday. She is such a sweet baby.
Adalynn should be here soon. After the first 3 months. I will be her caretaker. I cannot wait! I love her bunches already!
I am overcome with heat exhaustion! I am ready for Fall weather!
    Praying for u all

Hope you all enjoyed your day...I didn't do anything anything beyond the norm. The illegal fireworks started around 9 PM and went sporadically until almost 2 AM. There are always those for whom the laws mean nothing, nor do respect for neighbors, dogs or Vets....or the possible hazards of sparking fires after a week of over 100 temps. Can you tell I am a grumpy old lady? I'll step down now before I hurt myself.

I'm up at 3 AM...will go check mail from M-W....I saw the other morning that Calico Granny and Junior had come to visit and Bully Boy was at the mail boxes. He's lost a good bit of wait since the feeding program was stopped. I still talk to them but they are leery of us after months of no daily feeding. I love them all and am glad of any sightings.

Prayers for us all and our assorted needs. Love you Ladies, and thank God for you.fm3qcocge630.png

I love that passage, Bren, and what a beautiful picture to go with it. I put it in my pictures folder! How was the BP today?

Missy, I'm so excited for you and keep praying that mom and baby do well! Praying for you and hubby too. So glad he is doing better.

Marilyn, thank you for the pictures, they are a blessing! Keep on heading in the right direction. I'm so excited to see where God will take you in your kidney journey! You got that number up a wee bit and I am asking that, if it be His will, He would bring it up a wee bit more!

My hip and right leg are hurting today. I tried to cross my right leg over my left and my hip and leg were filled with pain! Eek! My hip is just aching right now. Oh my. I can't take any kind of arthritis meds either, they give me severe stomach pain. I've been taking my one Tramadol, but that doesn't do much.

Have an awesome day. Drink plenty of fluids (me too), and thank God for everything you are facing - He has good things for you! Love you

Thank you, Kim! I want two of them...only in my dreams tho....as much as I'd love a cat. I still see my sweet kitties on occasion...not all of them but Granny, Junior, Sister and Bully Boy make an appearance and while my heart still wants to feed them....I dare not!

I love that passage as well, Kim. It's one of many favorites! You asked about my BP...I had the one day, back on the 1st, at 121/65 which was great...all the rest have been high...and higher! Like 168/84 on the 2nd. Yep...I do need to get my head out of that salt box.

I'm praying for a balanced sleep pattern....and more alert time during the day when I can get chores done. I am up...too early to make noise....been awake since 2 AM...so when I go down for a nap, I can sleep until after 5 PM! A couple of days ago, I didn't get up until 7 PM...God is aware of it all and the reasons why I am out of sync.

I'm going to put coffee on, do my "plan" for the day and get started...Wishing you all a blessed Sunday! I love you all and you remain in my prayers.

Oh my! Definitely need to keep salt on your mind and look at the sodium on whatever you have to eat. I had to do that with saturated fats for years, we still look at the sat fat in things because that will raise cholesterol. Give yourself a limit for each day and if it won't work save it for another day! That's how I had to do the sat fat. I know that it's hard for you because processed is so much easier than fresh, but that is a way to try to control the amount you are taking in - and maybe make it easier to use up the fresh stuff you are buying! I hate that your sleep is backwards. Can you ask your doctor if there is something you can take to help your cortisol? That's what controls sleepiness and wakefulness. Mine was backwards too, for most of my life! I was awake at night and sleepy during the day. I can't remember what I was given to help it turn around, but it did. Now I am sleepy between 11pm and 12midnight, unfortunately I'm waking up a couple of times during the night to go to the bathroom, and then waking up around 6:30-7:00, so I am still sleepy during the day! Ugh! Wow, grammerly has a bunch of red lines on this message! Gonna keep it as it is anyway!

Love y'all and hope you are doing well.

My sleep patterns have been off for over 2 years now...started with that week both feet went south and I couldn't function. I was bedridden a full week, and once one foot healed enough I could shuffle about with the walker, I did that for another week. I was sleeping so much, due to the pain and mobility issues that I got stuck...not knowing some days if it was night or day when I did wake up. It makes for a much less productive day, which is discouraging to say the least.

I have so much stuff in my kitchen that is unhealthy...and it's a real problem many days. I'm more concerned with the sodium than I am the carbs tho they are trouble too. I can balance that with my insulin....not much I can do besides be aware of the sodium and aim for less. I can't afford to give away everything and start from scratch...tho I could part with some things. I'll give it some consideration.

It's really hard when we are on a fixed income because the stuff that is good for us is so much more expensive than the stuff that isn't - of course, these days everything is expensive. I can remember when $1.99/lb was cheap for cherries, and now we are thrilled when they are down to $2.98/lb! I know that you will do the best that you can. I am just concerned because I want you around until Jesus takes us all home together! That goes for Missy and Marilyn too! You ladies are such a joy to have in my life.

    Praying for you!
