Thanks....I normally would go to the Salvation Army but they no longer deliver. You are right about my body rebelling at the idea of hiking about in search of things!
I have a metal frame. It's the mattresses they think I should replace. I've had the box spring (foundation) for 28 years now and my mattress, a good quality one was gifted to me by a tenant who moved to Houston, back about 8-9 years ago...The headboard came from a unit as well....it's wood and rickety, used to be kind of a bookcase one....but parts are missing....and it was very buggy. Of course with the awesome encasements on my mattress/box spring thing....you don't see any grubby parts! I'll see how it all plays out.

I was able to get some more work done this morning, laundry was picked up, I got my hearing aid from Amazon and have it charging. I pray it works as needed.

I had a normal nap for the fist time in a long time and that was nice. I will see what else I can get done this afternoon.
Hope you appointment went well and nobody hurt you! Love and prayers~

Oh Boy! The hearing aid is perfect for my TV time. It's the in the ear type tho they are not shaped like a prescription aid is but for my needs...it's great!
I got a set of the little bento type containers to play with...just need to sort my fridge again and find things to load in them for quick meals.

I got trash out this morning and that was a hard task. My back was screeching! Instead of two trips to my car, I put the big Wal-Mart box and Styrofoam cooler in front of my loaded cart...and pushed it to my car! That's as far as I got today tho...was loading it in my car to drive around to the dumpster. I'll do that tomorrow...
I vacuumed a wee bit and swiffered my kitchen floor....I need new linoleum/tiles in there....or a maid type person to clean well for me.
I need to move some more things to the walk in closet, clean behind/beside my bed and vacuum some more. I'll tend to that after the bug man comes and does his thing....then will play in the kitchen with my containers....

I'm so glad that the new ear pieces work so well. Yeehaw! You sound like you are able to get quite a bit done. Praise the Lord.

I think that I figured out the resolving pneumonia. Without getting two rounds of antibiotics my body didn't completely get rid of it, so it is trying to resolve just using my immune system. I'm surprised the lymph nodes aren't swollen like they did the first time! Praise the Lord they aren't. So, it will take time for the pneumonia to get out of my lungs and then I have to go through the time period it takes to get the left overs of pneumonia out. I am just taking it easy since any kind of activity takes my breath. Other than that I'm doing well! Thank the Lord for that. My Mammogram went well, it wasn't too painful at all. The gal was very nice too.

I get about a week and a half before my next appointment. I already have my valium for that. I can't even think about the MRI machine, makes me too ishy!

    Love y'all.

That's a good report...considering! Glad the mammogram wasn't super painful. Resolving: I'd like things to resolve as quickly as they come on! LOL....Aren't we thankful for rest in the Lord when we are so weary and worn? He is totally wonderful and merciful! It's been quite a few years since I had an MRI and I'm OK with no more! I've had head, back and foot done. Glad you have something to help you and I pray it will be an easier experience than before.

I got a 10 page bill for my 2.5 day hospital stay. They charge $125.88 for ONE Lipitor tablet! That's insane....Guess they need to pay the thousands of employees and upkeep somehow. My part after Medicare is $1582....I praise God it wasn't more. I have the ER visit on the 12th still outstanding. I also praise God that I have the funds in my savings to pay my bills at this time. The BB treatment was $1521...so these are my "gifts" to me for the next 2 years? I need to manage my care better so I don't end up at the hospital again and be totally free of all BB activity.

I've been resting so much better with my bed flipped and it should show up in my back and hips soon. I do feel better today than I have in awhile and am thankful! I'll be careful not to over-do and injure myself. When I work hard one day, it takes three to recover!

Bug man didn't spray yesterday. Because the BB treatment was done, they don't want to mix chemicals...so at Noon, when I realized he wasn't coming, I closed the door and went down for my nap.

I need to play in the fridge today, do some more decluttering in here...I can do that, sitting so that helps. I did 2 areas and ran the shredder yesterday and have 3 baskets I need to deal with today. I am grateful for each task I can do...and mark off the list!

Have a blessed day at your spot....Love and prayers for us all.

I got my baskets and 3 drawers sorted/cleaned....and put what I kept from the baskets in new s-m tubs with lids...to cancel out a few hiding places. It's the first time in years that it's been so tidy at my computer area and I could do it all while sitting.

I also got the fridge done again....and a Wal-Mart order placed for delivery. Hooya! A bit at a time, I'm restoring order to my spaces....I am a happy camper.

I'm so glad you have a saving's account to fall back on! We paid our homeowner's and flood insurance this week! Phew. Now to figure out what to do to have enough for next year. I had heard people in NC who weren't covered because it was "storm surge" rather than "flood" that took out their house. I ask my insurance guy and he said both are part of our plan. Praise the Lord. We talked about not getting it this year but then these two hurricanes moved through and we saw how important it is to be covered - now to just get the insurance companies to do their part. I got a Medi-gap plan to pay for what Medicare doesn't, but still have to meet the deductibles which aren't too bad. I got a $500+ bill from my doctor's office for my "Welcome to Medicare" visit - say what!? She resent it and said that I may have to pay for the Regular Visit part of it because we talked about more than what the Medicare visit covered - they get you coming and going! Gotta expect stuff like this when you finally have insurance again!

Things have turned cool here, in the 60's today, maybe a high of 70. I had my robe on for a bit this morning because it was just 59 when I got up, but I quickly warmed up. My face is warmer than the rest of my body though. Just like going through menopause all over again. At least my whole body isn't involved like it has been. I even got cold in our Church Bible Study Wednesday. I chose that seat because I got the back A/C blowing right on me and also a fan - oops, too much this time. I'll bring my shawl to meeting and use that when that A/C is too much! Hopefully we won't need it anymore.

Have a blessed weekend. Love you

Oh yes! Me too! The last two years I worked and drew SS as well, I'd put $800 of my SS check into savings. That's what I paid my car off with as well...in only 19 months on a 6 year note. I was so blessed to be able to do that.

Oh yikes! What a nasty surprise! I hope that can be pared way down! I was charged for my Dr.'s pop ins at the hospital and for the specialist who ordered the CT on my elbow to make sure infection hadn't reached the bone. I was surprised to not see a charge for the air I breathed while there...LOL...

I live simply, my main expenditures are groceries and medical....and I was sending my son some money each moth but now they have changed carriers and I can only load money for calls and texts and I have no interest in that at all. I sent him a letter....and let him know he can figure things out as his end. I may get gas in my car when I go out next month for my appointments and lab work. I filled up last year in August...and still have almost a half tank...

I got my Wal-Mart order tucked away and am going down for my reading/nap time now. I treated myself to some tea again. As opposed to more fried chicken. LOL...I look forward to having one at dinner.

Oh I love the cooler days! I turned my AC to 75 yesterday as I was plumb chilled in here. A vent flows down on me at the computer...it's quite cozy now. I do still use my fan for sleeping.

I've done well today and feel great, compared to the past months! I am truly blessed....um5jzwk2f5qf.png

Yeah, I'm so glad that you are doing well right now. My breathing is doing much better, only the occasional need to take a deep breath and most of the time I can catch it. My right side is hurting today more than yesterday, so being careful with it. We caught a snatch of a video on YouTube about having a phlegmy throat. Ick! We didn't watch it but it got me to thinking, because that's been a problem with me for a long time. Sinusitis is one cause and I have chronic sinusitis, also an infection whether in the sinuses or in the lungs - bingo - pneumonia. Drinking more liquids will help as well as using a saline spray in the nose. I have one around here somewhere, but I may just order a new one since the old one must be at least a year old. Taking two pills that suck fluid out of me also isn't helping, so I just need to make sure to keep a close eye on my water or non-dehydrating fluids intake. I do drink a big cup of coffee each day (at least 15 oz of coffee and around 2 oz of creamer), but it takes me all day to drink it. In the meantime I make my healthy water which I add some 0 cal flavoring, some green powder, some magnesium threonate powder, some cranberry powder (just cranberries, no sugar) and sometimes my potassium powder, oh, and my liquid vitamins and minerals. Most of the powders have a fruity flavor to them so it tastes pretty good, although yesterday I didn't add the flavoring and it was rather bland! LOL!

Well, the insurances are paid so we should be good for another year. We may have to go month to month next year, but we are going to try and set aside money for that each month. I like paying for a full year. I have three things that I pay for a year at a time and I just don't have to think about them at all. The other stuff is on auto-pay so I don't worry about it getting paid but rather that there is enough money in the checking account to pay it - here's where a savings account comes in handy!

Lunch time! Home made lasagna! Love you

I've seen article headings on the throat thing and didn't read them but hurried by. Ick...as you said but yep...I too, have issues with that.

I do plain water but have some of the lemonade and other SF add ins if wanted...and a box of a punch flavored electrolyte stuff....never opened. I enjoy a mug of broth now and then. I have reduced sodium chicken and the tomato/chicken that I really like...and some beef Herb Ox stuff.

It feels good to mark things paid doesn't it? I do my Medicare premium by the year, car insurance 6 months at a time. Year not allowed so they can spike us every 6 months. It's ridiculous...as I drive less than 30 miles a month and pay $81 a month...so each mile costs me $2.72 in insurance alone....at 30 MPM. Oh well....it is what it is and it's a necessity for us law abiding citizens.

Oh yes...on the savings. I've been so thankful I was able to set mine aside for my latter years. I am praying this BB thing will be my last major lay out for awhile....once I'm done. I am happy with my bed and will try to keep it....the recliner and desk chair, I can replace if absolutely needed...and be OK with it. The exterminator will come for the first follow up on Thursday and I'll get his intake and advice. I'm wondering if I keep it all until the last follow up on November 14th?

I feel good about the progress on decluttering last week...still have some to do and a kitchen purge eventually. That walk in closet now....may still be a hoarder's dream when I draw my last breath. We shall see. Makes me thankful to be an apartment dweller for sure!

    Today's stats: 240.6 133 135/76 63
I did get the batteries changed in the scale a couple weeks back so feel it's more reliable now. Still having BP highs...so need to stay on that.

May God draw us close, hold us, comfort, heal and strengthen us in each day we are given.qvhdvamh0fzb.png

What a beautiful picture! and so true this promise.

I don't know that they will let you keep stuff that has the bugs just because they will keep multiplying while you have them and move around the apartment. It may be best to get them out and not have that breeding ground there, but that each visit will kill the ones that are left. I may be totally wrong about that so best to ask the professionals - but that's my two cents.

Did I share the results of my CT scan with you? I went back to see but didn't see it. It seems like some of my posts from my other team had disappeared, so I'm not sure. Anyway, just in case I didn't - there were three bits of news from it. The lymph nodes are fine, I have resolving pneumonia (which could mean that the initial antibiotics didn't wipe it out and now it is trying to resolve on my immune system, just taking a long time to get there); and I have a cyst on my pancreas. I looked it up and it seems like it's not an uncommon thing for folks my age to get them and most of them are benign. I am trusting God with it and praising Him for the peace that He's given. I want to accomplish His purpose in allowing it and be who He wants me to be through it. Your prayers would be awesome, especially for when I go into that itty bitty machine! LOL!

Quite a bit of a cool down! So happy. I only have occasional hot flashes now rather than the one long hot flash! Praising the Lord for that as well.

    Love you! Kim

I love the water....and in looking for verses on restoration...this caught my eye! My only vision of water is the pool outside my door!

On the BB site I joined for tips and commiseration....they say to not throw everything out. My bed is very well contained in the encasements and in the 10 days since initial treatment I've only had 5 adults and a handful of hatchlings on the bed and snagged them with tape. They are exposed to the residual chemicals in their efforts to get to me as well.
The most live bugs are in the recliner and desk chair and the infestation is down to perhaps 5% of what it was prior to treatment and I've not had to get up at night to do a single search and seizure since treatment! That is such JOY to this old girl! I was waking 2-4 times a night with crawling/biting bugs and catching1---300 each time on the scotch tape. I've noticed as well that I don't have them on the floor now! Hooya!

You did! That's great that you know what's going on and why! And yes I will! Let Jesus go in first and hold you...So did they find the cyst on the pancreas in the CT scan? My Dr. has been wanting to do more scans on me and I am just not keen. The pain on laying flat on my back is a hindrance...and the fact that even if something is found, I doubt I'd be willing to uhhm...do anything about it.

Oh yes! I am loving the cooler temps as well even tho I am inside most of the time. I confessed to being mean when I had the hot flashes for so many years! I'd be snappy and snarly, and was often not my sweet, normal self!

I've had most of 2 days rest and recovery so am back at the chore list today. I am thankful for each thing I can knock off the list.

Have a blessed day at your spot! I'm having one here at mine for sure! Love and prayers for us all...

Today I am sleepy. I took some cough syrup since I was coughing quite a bit this morning. I'm hoping it's just from the gunk of the pneumonia coming out and not another bout. If I'm still coughing tomorrow I won't go to Bible Study but Zoom it instead, just to be sure everyone is safe.

Yes, they found the cyst in the CT scan. CT scans don't last very long like the MRI's do. You're probably lying on the table for five minutes or so while they get your IV ready and take your scan. You could probably sit up while they do the IV and then lie down for the test. They give me a knee pillow so my knees can be bent and that alleviates quite a bit of the back pain during MRI's.

Well, I'm super sleepy, so I'm going to go and sit down for awhile and nod off. Love you

Rest is essential....so get it while you can.

So far, I've managed to not have to do the IV thing with my scans tho it was mentioned as a possibility a couple of times.

I stayed in bed until 5 AM today....that was nice! I haven't had a night in 10 since treatment that I was up poking around at 1 AM. It feels like I'm heading towards my "normal" sleep patterns after a 2 year hiatus.

I need to get my trash out this morning to free up my cart for my order from HEB this afternoon. There's a fee plus tip...I saved $8.50 with the coupons and the fee is $7.95 so I balanced out on that. If I'd felt like tooling around, I'd do pick up but the earliest available is this afternoon. I normally use them and do a pick up when I have to go to Walgreens for my meds. Delivery is a gift to me.

I'm going to get dressed for the day and get some work done. Love and prayers....m53dtbpkisep.png

I ordered a bundle of kale yesterday....that was the biggest "bundle" I've ever seen! I thought for sure there were three in that bag but no...it was only one "grand" bundle!
So...I have it chopped and cooking with some pork hock from the freezer and will drop some small taters in the pot the last 30 minutes or so of cook time.

I slept in this morning until 7 AM....that's a rarity! I feel well, rested well and am so blessed to get a new day. I'll play some more in the kitchen, get the trash dealt with and enjoy the day. Blessings to all....

Praise the Lord for your good night's sleep! So happy! Boy, I bet your apartment smells lovely with all that kale cooking. When Mom made greens, ugh, I could hardly stand the smell! LOL! Let alone the taste! But Dad loved them, so she made them. Occasionally she made them for herself, but thankfully so, not often!

Boy, yesterday was a carby day. Wade made us some Nahn bread pizzas - oh my, oops, I'm drooling! So good. I had my bowl of pumpkin spice Cheerios for my snack, my Aussie bite for my breakfast, and my peanut butter wrap with chips for lunch. Carbs on carbs! Yikes. I'll try to do better today. Oops, forgot that sliver of Atlantic Beach Pie too. I'd had to lose it since Wade went to so much effort to make it!
Not coughing as much this morning, but even after 9 hours of sleep last night, still feeling tired. But praise the Lord, I do feel better today than I felt yesterday. Not sure if I'll go to Bible Study tonight just to be on the safe side. If I start to feeling much better then I'll go! I hate to miss being with the body! It's like if your pinky decided to stay in bed when you get up, you just can't accomplish as much as you would have if that little digit was there!

    Love y'all.

I hope y'all are doing well today. I'm feeling pretty good. Wade and I went out for a ride, down to where we could see the Cape Lookout Lighthouse across the Sound. We got out to look at the water and the breeze made it really cold! I didn't stay outside the car for long! He showed me where he and Pastor David and sometimes the young men like to go kayaking and fishing. I'd like to go kayaking again, but someone needs to invent something that makes getting in and out of the kayak easier for rickety folks like me.

MRI tomorrow. I have to get up at about 20 minutes to 6 AM so I can get something to eat before we go at 11 AM. My appointment is at noon, but I have to be there at 11:45. Then, lunch out afterwards! I don't think I can talk the MRI people to go just 6 inches lower so that they would be able to catch all my arthritis areas too, then I wouldn't have to have another MRI in January or February! Sounds good to me, but not likely!

Ick. I wish I could find a hand sanitizer that doesn't taste so bad. I use the stuff then get something on my hand when I eat and get that alcohol taste in my mouth! Yuck!

Have a blessed day y'all. Love you

Love that pictures and aren't we thankful for new days and fresh starts?

I love the Naan! I get the garlic, and have a package in my fridge at the moment and some pepperoni to play with.
I don't actually smell the Kale cooking....Some greens may be louder...but as I enjoy them, if they smell....I don't mind! I had some for lunch yesterday and have 2 containers left. I cooked some pork country style ribs last night in my air fryer. Mine is small so I do 2 pieces. Had one in a sandwich for dinner.

I got all the trash out to the dumpster today and am so glad to have that heavy job done. The bug guy is coming at 2:00 for my first follow up so I'll need to exit and stay out until 4:ish....I'll take my Kindle, phone and water bottle with me and scope out the courtyard.

It's cool here too. Now as cool as you were by the water I'm sure but we started the day at 45. It's 73 now so I should be OK to sit outside. If I need to, I'll sit in my car. That sounds like a nice outing for you two. I'm glad you're feeling better.

You will be in my prayers for the MRI time....hope it goes quickly and well and I'd be just like that! I'd want to say get everything covered in one fell swoop because I don't want to do this again! LOL...Looking forward to a nice lunch after will be a bit of a boost.

I need to gather my goodies, fill my water bottle and get the door open for the bug man....I'll drop my goodies in a zipper bag for ease in toting.

Have a good afternoon at your spot....Love you!

I got to play in the courtyard yesterday. It's been a minute since I was that far back on the property. They have installed two permanent park like BBQ grills....makes me want to use one! I haven't BBQed in 23 years and even then, I didn't do the fire....just used it once the neighbors were done. They have two big cast iron tables, surrounded by comfy chairs for bigger groups but I had it to myself. I got to see Sister cat!

Anyway: The good news is...my couch/love seat are fine, my mattress is OK, can keep the bed frame for now and am keeping an eye on my desk.
I have to dispose of the recliner, box spring, headboard, night stand, desk chair and will add some tubs under the bed to the take away.
Mary gave me the business card to a guy who does such things and I have him scheduled for next week on Thursday or Friday. The Bug Guy will return on the 31st for follow up number 2. He will be glad to see that my part will be done so he can do his well.

I have a new recliner coming Monday between 10-1. Hooya! I have a new box spring and encasement and a nice new chair mat in my cart at Wal-Mart, a desk chair in my cart at Office Depot....the headboard and nightstand will be replaced at another time. I'll be looking for those.

This weekend, I'll clear out that night stand, move my old recliner about so I can vacuum and clean that area. I will be so very thankful to have this all done and dealt with for sure!

Praise the Lord you will be able to keep so much!

We have a crock pot full of pea soup and a nice ham bone with some ham on it (which we left just for this). Can't wait for supper.

The MRI went well, although I had a hard time holding my breath with a large plate on my chest which had the coils that took the pictures. It felt like a weighted blanket! It was strapped to me so my arms were held close to my body. I had to take a number a deep breaths and then hold them, but air kept escaping my nose so I would stiffen my body to try and stop it from happening - I'd move, fuzzy picture, do over! I could easily hold my breath without escapage when we got home, so it was that plate that pushed the air out! It took around 40 minutes to get it done. I did fine in the tube, just kept my eyes shut. I had headphones and was able to listen to "Christian" music when it wasn't doing loud beeping and she wasn't asking me to take deep breaths. It made it nicer, easier to handle being in there. Praise the Lord. Maybe Monday or Tuesday I will have the results.

So very glad this one is behind you! The headphones do help. I remember my first one and I told the tech I had a hearing aid and without it I'd not hear the loud noise she warned about...She said "Oh you will hear it!" Boy, did I! Let us know the results when you have them.

Oh I am so thankful! I checked the two under bed tubs today to see what was in them....one is computer cords, keyboard that doesn't work with my current computer, lines, CD's and the like I don't need and haven't seen in a lot of years...the other is full of magazines...15 years old and older. LOL...so they can go with the haul off. There's a couple of scales under there too, nonfunctional...that can go as well.

I have my headboard, bed frame (just in case) and a fully assembled night stand selected at Wal-Mart, to order after my last follow up visit by my bug guy. I want to be able to reclaim my space and put the bed back where it goes. If my box spring comes before the guy doing my haul off, I will ask him to help me get it in the encasement and on the frame...if he comes before I get it, I will have to hire someone to do it for me.
I can remember the days I could deal with such things myself...but they are far behind me! Have a good evening...rest well and enjoy your yummy dinner! I've been wanting beans and cornbread...but apparently not enough to actually cook stuff.

I have a couple of yummy things in the fridge from this weekend - split pea soup with ham bits and a ham/potato bake (ham, potatoes, gravy, cheese and broccoli). We make a 9X13 of it and have it for several days. I think I'll do the bake for lunch and soup for dinner. I like to eat lighter in the evening.

I've been trying to find some low carb crackers but they are so expensive! I wanted to have something for my evening snack and I thought crackers and cheese would be nice - oh well. I will go back to my half apple and cheese chunks, that was pretty good too. Oh, Wade made me some pumpkin no bake cookies. Nothing healthy about these though, so they are a weekend thing. Pumpkin, oatmeal, sugar, pumpkin spice, butter. Ugh! Really good though, but they didn't hold together. They would work well as a topping over ice cream - oh no! He is going to leave out about 1/3 of the sugar next time because they were rather sweet.

Well, it's lunch time and I'm really looking forward to my bake. Love you

Well...I just found out maintenance is not allowed to come in my apartment until I am declared bug free! I have 3 bulbs out...and two follow ups left, last one November 13th and will have to wait on the exterminator's say so to the status....in the meantime...it's very dim in here so I may just ask Jesus to help me get the bulbs replaced so I can see. I have a three step stool and would be very careful.

My new recliner will be delivered today so I had to wrestle the old one out of it's spot so I could vacuum and prep for the new one.
I got furniture covers to do up the items for disposal. I'll check for chair sized as they are all sofa sized and I don't need that big for the recliner, night stand, desk chair...I'll be glad when this part is done and dealt with.

I like the old recliner in it's temporary spot. I'll use it until it's picked up so no bugs will come looking for me in the new chair. It's normal sized and quite lovely.

I made sure to leave space ll around the old one....for protection. I'd say the bugs are down to about 2% activity now.

Oh yay...I found my lost hearing aid! It was on the coffee table between my family Bible and Mom's memory book. I was glad to see it...but am also glad I have a great back up as well!

I'm waiting now, for UPS to come pick up my Amazon return...and once that's done, I will go down for reading and rest time.

I had some rotisserie chicken for lunch with some coleslaw and potato salad from Wal-Mart. I have a nice salad with boiled eggs and an apple for dinner.

I'm planning on a salad for lunch. I haven't had one for several days. Curly lettuce, 1/2 an apple, three baby carrots, some sugar snap peas, ham pieces, cheese and raspberry vinaigrette! Yum Yum. What did the Hee Haw folks say when Grandpa read off the menu for the day? I can't remember (no surprise there).

Still waiting for the results. Hope they come soon and are just fine! Trusting Jesus! Love you

This might have been me a time or two....just sayin'....

I hope you hear from them soon....and I too, pray for a positive outcome. Knowing you are in God's loving care means so much and brings such comfort.

I had another angina episode yesterday morning. I had moved the old recliner out and about to make room for the new one on Monday, did some vacuuming, kitchen work and was reminded why I don't shift furniture about in my latter years. The job is beyond me!

I also changed my keyboard. I had dropped something on the old one, months back, and broke the enter button on the right side. It was still usable...but I love this new one. I'm getting used to it a bit more....it's got low profile keys and with my poor lighting at the moment I actually have to watch what I'm doing more.
Today, I need to collect trash, pull up this old, cracked chair mat to prepare for the new one coming today. This is my new one...2iphr9cefydo.png

I slept in until 6:30 this morning. I'd have liked another hour down but have things I need to do, I sent my haul off guy an e-mail, making sure he knew I am in treatment for bed bugs. So far, I've had no activity since Sunday on the bed or recliner and very light activity on the desk chair.
Less each day. Praise God! I wanted him to have the option of declining my job if need be. He's OK with it and may be able to come this afternoon. That would be great. With the new things coming in, I need the old ones out....My desk chair comes on Monday and I have Angi's set up to come do the assembly. I look forward to a bug free environment and using my new things...like that recliner!

Prayers for us all in this new day...missing Missy and Marilyn. Prayers for strength, healing, provision and peace. Be blessed and rest in Jesus.

I had a rough start but have recovered and am ready to have coffee and get my work started for the day.

    Yeah, I miss them too!

Lovely carpet! You'll have to take a picture when all the new stuff is in!

Well, we are getting ready to go to town, so I'll check back later. Love you

Oh yay....my stuff is gone and I am so thankful. His wife/helper was with him and after all the stuff was hauled out, I asked them to change my bulbs for me and they did! Very nice couple and I'd use them again....
Oh, that's my new chair mat. I have a kitchen chair in here for the time being as my new desk chair won't come until Monday and the assembly pro will put it together on Tuesday. Hooya!

Now, I can sweep/clean under and around the bed before putting my new box spring in place and putting the bed back together.
I had 4...yes four....old scales under there! LOL...nonfunctional...don't know why I hadn't just tossed them when they quit working.

I sat in my new recliner for the first time...used the footrest...works great! However....it's SMALL! LOL....I was very used to the comfy wallow room in my old, oversized one. This one will take up less space tho. I'm going to have my tea, watch a bit of TV and wait for my delivery of the box spring.

I have been watching my granddaughter day and night this week at my home. Her mom and dad caught a nasty cold and was afraid to spread it to her.
I just thawed out some frozen breast milk and made her bottles for the night. I love that her momma continues to breast feed.
She is getting so big. She goes soon for her 4 months check up! I can't believe she will already be 4 months on the 7th!
I sat outside and rocked her in my glider. I'm already telling her about the kinds of birds, veggies, and flowers! LOL
    Hope ya'll enjoy your weekend!
    Hugs and Prayers

Time slips away so quickly! I know you enjoy your time with her. Prayers for a speedy recovery for her Mama and Daddy. Prayers for you as well...in this one of many rolls you play, Missy.

My box spring is delayed in delivery and last night was spent on the sofa and in the recliner, in quite some agony. I was in so much pain that I would have cried if I had the energy for it! LOL.... It seems I may have to do it again tonight. I didn't get the cleaning done anyway...so perhaps today I can tackle that. God is ware of all that needs to be done and He says in Him....I can do all things!

Love you all...be blessed best where needed most!mjseydesv4dw.png

Missy, does taking care of baby bring back memories of when yours were that little? I hope it's easier now. Oh, that is such a cute picture, Grandma teach granddaughter about the garden and the birds! These are the formative years, so who knows how much is actually taking root!

Bren, :'( I'm sorry getting it all together is going to take some time now. Can you use the mattress on the frame without the box spring? It may not be great sleeping, but it has to be better than the sofa or the recliner. Wade sometimes goes out and sleeps on the sofa when he wakes up in the middle of the night - he says it's really comfortable - hmmm, for me it's too hard! Of course, he sleeps under a fluffy blanket even in the summer! When it turned cooler I put mine on the bed and had to take it off, it made me too hot! Having a flannel sheet and a thin quilt on the bed has been too hot! Yikes!

Well, time to go and watch the chickens. Love y'all.
