Yes I love the Golden Honey and use it in some of my smoothies as I also use peanut butter. The Bees seem to know how to communicate well between them all. I find the Bees fascinating, watching them buzzing around my garden and eating the nectar from my hanging floral baskets. They provide a lot of honey that is Made for our Local Stores.

We all have things that help us "cope" with life. I guess the drones mope while the others act differently.

All this talk about bees is making me hungry. What "type" of honey is your favorite? My friend let me taste some with lemon in it. I also have heard of hot chili, clover, orange blossom, acacia, avocado, blueberry, dandelion and eucalyptus flavorings.

Unfortunately while I appreciate the Bees and all they do, I cannot have honey. I us3d to like Leatherwood honey though before I realised my body couldn't tolerate pure fructose. It's a pity.

That is a pity that you can not tolerate honey. Glenn can not tolerate pure sugar but he can do honey for sweetening. I am glad that we three can talk about animals and bees because we have had experience with them. Those who have always lived in the "city" do not have that advantage. I heard a joke one time that a city boy thought that chocolate milk came from a brown cow and white milk from white cows.

Oh Linda I actually had a friend tell me that about the milk and cows, it still makes me Lol! You are right it is a shame that City folk don’t get exposed to all the Farm Animals the beautiful landscape of the country seeing all the Farms, I loved the Cows and Sheep and their Yound, the Newborn Lambs, their dear little faces. What City Folk are missing. It is such a Pity Susan you can’t tolerate Honey. I love Honey, Blossom & Clover Honey I always Loved. Still do! I can’t get my mind of all the baby farm animals, those (Itty) little babies!

Baby animals can be bity! Be careful, Judith and Linda. If you are like me, your skin might be thin. The babies won't mean to hurt us but they could.

Yes the kite might just be enough to distract them. A "bite" from a little kitty's small sharp teeth can be very painful. Of course, I know they do not intend to hurt anyone but are just playing.

Yes the Kitty sure likes to play, they Play Fite and sometimes in process they Bite not meaning to Hurt anyone. A Kitty can be fierce in their Play “Fite” (Fight)

In spite of being such a little mite of a thing, kittens can have big impact!

Yes they can impact us a lot but since they are just playing I can not "mete" out punishments on them. They are so cute.

Yes Susan with my Sunshine she is a little Mite but she sure has a Big Impact. And no matter what she does it’s hard to Mete out punishments especially as she is so cute, and she knows it too! But she sure pours out the Love’s and is great company, yes we are a Great Team!

Yes cats can be very comforting when they snuggle and purr in our ears. When we had cats, they were barn cats and not in the house. They had plenty of "meat" to eat in the barn in the form of mice.

Yes good thing about Barn Cats they keep the Mice population down. But a part from that Cats are so Neat as they Groom themselves pretty much all day!

You can't beat a cat for mousing! I used to have cats till I discovered their skin dander unfortunately made my Asthma worse 😞 I still love cats but at a bit of a distance.

You are right Susan, so sorry 😞 your asthma is made worse with cat dander… Thinking the next best thing to get mice off the property is to Bate them in friendly trap (Baits) they can be taken off property and put somewhere away from your Homes and Barns

We don't seem to have a mouse problem, thankfully, and my dogs would probably deal with them if we did. My dogs are 'hypoallergenic' dogs who have no undercoats so barely shed. I am not allergic to them. I would hate to not have dogs or cats!

With all the traveling that we do, it is best that we do not have pets in our house. Growing up we had dogs and cats but I loved the dogs the most. Eventually we may get a small dog when life slows down some but for now my "fate" is to be pet less.

It looks like we all rate pur pets highly. They sure are good companions and we are mostly able to adapt our travel plans to suit our dogs. There are many places we do not go because of them, though, so I understand your need to be pet-less for now, Linda.

My daughter's dog can be very much a pest at times, getting things off the table or counter and running with them so we chase her. When she does that, my granddaughter says she is being a "brat" like a naughty child.

Yes I hear you Linda about not having pets in the house, at least for now. I had to laugh about your daughters Dog doing things he shouldn’t just to get attention wrong way, I could just see you all chasing the dog to get what they grabbed off counter or table. Dear me, Yes they can be a Brat at times; But just as Susan said we do Rate our Pets pretty High! However when our Fur Babies get in a Mischievous Mood it’s hard to keep Tabs on them!

I used to have trouble keeping my cats off the kitchen counter. They would wait till I wasn't looking and sneak up there!

Sometimes when an animal does naughty things they are just wanting our attention. One way to solve this is to give them a job to do. My M-I-L had toy "rats" that she would wind up and the cats would chase them.
