Heavy LT
not the best look to be a heavy LT. Want to lose approx 30-50 lbs. I lift very regularly (4-5 days per week) in the morning (around 6 PST). Working out hasn’t been too difficult, but nutrition is what gets me (big time volume eater). I’d love to get more consistent for meal planning.

Why don’t the calories burned showing in my watch, also show up in MFP?
Hey everyone, so I’m on this amazing health journey like so many others! I have been wearing my Garmin Vivo Sport watch for months and it seems fairly accurate. I connected it to MFP about two weeks ago. I see the calories that I burn being counted properly on my watch, yet it will show like 4 calories burned in MFP?!…

Trying again
Working to get back in shape physically and nutritionally. Biggest challenge is staying motivated and keeping on track. Need a way to be held accountable for meeting goals. Staying on track with nutrition and gym i see progress but seem to sabotage myself when i see gains and go back to old habits.

Advice/complaint
Hello there! So I’m starting my journey about 2.5 weeks ago. First I was trying to go for loss of 1.5 pounds a week. I wasn’t happy gaining pounds within my second week even tho I was fine under the 3 pounds by 2nd week format. So. I’m going harder. 16:8 IF timeframe AND lower calorie intake for the 2lbs a week loss. Idk…

Polyam, pansexual, ER nurse losing weight slowly!
I’ve lived my entire adult life in a fat body. I have been 374lbs for the last year. I’m ready to change. I decided mid-January that I’m going to try to start losing weight again. This has been a slippery slope in the past. Whenever I would try to lose weight, I would become obsessive about it. I would have to weigh and…

How do you begin, and continue full speed without ‘giving up’?
I want to hear your ways. I have been unmotivated after taking off 3 months with a broken hand, and I just can’t seem to stimulate the motivation within to get back into a routine. I even work at a gym, but that doesn’t even clue me in to get moving.
