The picture on the left is me at my heaviest and on the right is from Halloween 2024. With summer right around the corner I need to get remotivated and be a healthy example to my kids! Lets…

Accountability partner
Hey guys! First time here. I'm a 36F. Life's been a rollercoaster, and in the past two years, I gained over 50 lbs. I'm determined to get my confidence and energy back! I know I do better when I have someone to share the journey with, so I'm looking for an accountability buddy. If you also need support, let's team up and…

58, overweight, 25 lbs to go
Hi, I'm Kate. I'm 58, 59 next month. When I got on the scale at the dr's, I was (finally) disgusted. I looked in the mirror later that evening, and saw a big fat glob. I'm 5'5", with what I consider a curious (to me) body structure. I have a very short torso-low rise jeans come up to my belly button; 36" inseam; my lowest…

How do you begin, and continue full speed without ‘giving up’?
I want to hear your ways. I have been unmotivated after taking off 3 months with a broken hand, and I just can’t seem to stimulate the motivation within to get back into a routine. I even work at a gym, but that doesn’t even clue me in to get moving.

Looking for support
Hi everyone, I'm doing well on my weight loss journey. However, I get to 109.3 kilos or 241 pounds and I cannot get past it. I do a lot of walking daily and I go to the gym twice a week. To date I've lost 16.2 kilos or 37.1 pounds.

❓❓❓How have I maintained my 110 lb weight loss over 5 years? ❓❓
From 288 lbs to 178 lbs for over 5 years!! I do go up and down within a general 7 lb range, but how did I lose in the first place? Was it EASY? NO WAY was it easy. At that time, I couldn't walk much, but I could still lose!! I am not a healthy eater (Way better than I was though!) and I flatly refused to make any drastic…

What are some tips for my situation?
Hello everyone! My name is Izzie! I've been using MFP on and off for about a year now but for the last few months I have logged every single day (except holidays where I can't go on my phone). I was eating balanced meals (30% fat/carb and 40% protein) and reaching about 1000-1200 calories per day for about a month and my…

Time food is eaten on desktop app like the phone app
It would be great to be able to put the time each food was eaten on the desktop app like the phone app!! That would be very helpful. It is great to have it on the phone app but I also like to use the desktop for logging.

Macros and nutrition list what does it mean?
Hey, so I'm new to this app! I joined because I'm planning a trip with alpine. I'm more on the camping/ hiker side so Fitness itself like this app and the numbers is all new to me. So can somebody explain these pages? It says carb 50% fat 30% and protein 20%. Due to the type of workout routine I need for this; it's really…

Any tips for finding workout motivation?
Hi all! Lately, I have lost the motivation to exercise. I do work full-time and school part-time so my time is crunched but even when I'm not busy, I have no motivation to exercise. I just am a couch potato. Any tips for finding that motivation to exercise?

Introducing 🥁... Myself!
I have used MFP for 7 years, with varying intensity. When I use it seriously, it never fails. Looking back, I am not sure what knocks me off, unless it is extended travel with unusual food choices and a disrupted routine. I have never reached out to join the community but I'm hoping that an accountability group will help…

I also have a 19 years old from a previous marriage. Why all this background verging on TMI? Well because I believe it to be…
