It’s been a while
Hello. I keep coming back to MFP . I am trying to get control of my eating habits and am pursing the macros plan. I am working out with a trainer for a short period of time. My body has changed as I age and am now realizing that I really need to get serious about commitments to myself. Looking for to hearing back from you…

Recipes exporter
It would be useful to be able export recipes singly and/or in bulk. I have 300+ recipes in MyFitnessPal but the one I want to refer to can be hard to find. Being able to peruse some data (e.g. a set of recipes in TXT files; or json structures, etc.) would be much easier than the current methods in the app or on the website…

My Recipes search enhancements
I was recently trying to find a recipe for something I had made previously but wasn't able to find it. Over the years I've added a lot of recipes in Fitnesspal - 31 pages of them when I look on the website! - and trying to find them is NOT easy. I think it would be helpful if the recipes I added in Fitnesspal could be…

Recipe search!
Please-- in this day and age a recipe search cannot be hard to implement. Your recipe discovery feature would be so much more useful and functional if one could search by ingredient.

View ingredients when adding to diary
Currently the only way to see the ingredients and instructions for a recipe is to go to More>Recipes>Find the recipe>Edit. That’s a lot of clicking to see some information I want to quickly get to. What I end up doing is that I go to add something to the diary but then I can’t remember how much is in a serving or what…

Have MFP do the calculations from serving size to what amount you use
This, imho, is where MFP fails epically. The user must calculate the amount take to coincide with the serving size that is labeled on the product. I am more than willing to put that data in, but what I want is when I serve my portion, I put in the amount I serve. For example, serving size of Thai's unsweetened coconut milk…

How do I search for recipes?
This question was last asked in 2012. I figure somethings must have changed in 11 years? I'm looking for a database of recipes that are gluten free with certain types of vegetables. Does that exist? If not, why not? Thank you

Hello everyone! My name is Kristial, I'm new to MyFitnessPal, and I have about 57 pounds left to lose! I've lost about 115 pounds so far, but I'm stagnating, so I thought it's about time I start tracking my intake of food. I'd love to hear about your success stories and what maintenance looks like for you. I'd also be…

Searching for Recipes
1. Is there a way to search for recipes? Simply browsing through Discovery is cumbersome and annoying. 2. 2. Once I locate a recipe, is there a way to add to My Diary for a future date-then have that entry actually link to the recipe? I plan meals ahead of time, but often have trouble locating the recipe on tge day I…

High Protein Low Calorie meals
What are you favorite high protein low cal meals? Share pics too! I’ve been loving this cottage cheese and egg white dish with spinach and cherry tomatoes. Less than 200 calories and almost 24 grams of protein! I sautéed the onions first with some cooking spray, then add the spinach and tomatoes sliced in half. When that…

Hello New to Fitness Pal
Hi, my name is Jeanett. I need to lose 50 pounds and keep it off. I'm giving myself 10-pound goals at a time. It will be easier for me not to look at the whole picture, but at incremental goals. I have it in my head that I want to do this. I have lost those same 50 pounds several times over the years. My main goal will be…

Website - Edit Recipe - Edit Quantity - Broke
When editing a recipe on the website, clicking on Edit Quantity no longer brings up the quantity change box. It just returns to top of page. This has been broken for almost a week. I tested it on both Chrome and Edge. Anyone else experiencing this?

Chia Seed Pudding recipes
I've been reading about the benefits of chia seeds and interested in using them more often in my plan. I made one last night for my breakfast this morning and I wasn't really thrilled. It was a chocolate pudding, made using cocoa powder. There was maple syrup as a sweetener but it didn't really cover the bitterness of the…

Improve Recipes - Folders, Search, Notes, Measurements
Here are 4 ideas to make recipes so much more useful. Now that I am using the feature more, I am running into limitations. The 4 suggestions are: 1. Organization - allow people to tag recipes or make folders. 2. The mobile app searches recipes well. Desktop does not. I often cook off the desktop version of the site and…

Hello MyFitness Pals, day 60 on my new health journey
Hello, I'm twenty-four pounds down with many pounds left to go on my new health journey and I look forward to learning so much more about, Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats and all that jazz. I'm exploring new foods, new recipes and storing them on OneNote for future use. Who knew this journey would be so much fun with the…

Search for recipes by ingredients
I’m sure I’m not the first to suggest this. I find the way the app classifies recipes is next to useless. I want to type in a list of ingredients, for example, zucchini and feta, and see what comes up. This feature would ensure I use the recipe section and would save me laboriously looking for a recipe outside the app and…

How to create recipes that include items like flour
OK, assume I'm adding a crispy fried shrimp recipe. I may use 1 cup of flour and some cornstarch, but that's just to cover the shrimp before it goes in the fryer. Should I add some flour in the ingredients, like a tablespoon, or just exclude it altogether?
