Looking for plant-based friends on MFP for inspiration!
I'm down 15lbs since I started logging every day, I wasn't 100% plant-based to start, but still about 95% and I'm doing my best to keep it at 100% vegan. I was vegetarian for the last several years. I'm 36yo F, 5'9, and looking to lose another 45 lbs but I want to do it gradually over time so most days I'm eating back my…

Any plant based success?
I"ve dabbled with it in 5 year stretches a few times. It makes me feel better because I have a lot of allergies. The first time we got off track was when the kids started school and went on their first field trip. They stopped at McDonalds for lunch and my son came home to announce when he grew up he was going to be a…

The Slow Creep
Hi all, in 2020 I lost ~40 lbs logging food and through regular exercise. Well, I’m happy to say I’ve maintained the regular exercise which has been great for my mental health and body (and heart too I guess), but I’ve slacked off the logging. I’ve gained almost 10lbs since logging regularly (since about Oct ‘21). I’m sure…

Return Member
Used the free program many years ago, and it helped. My main problem with "dieting" has always been once I get to goal weight, I assume I'm good. Hence, my prior (bad) eating habits creep back in, slowly. So, I start to gain back. So, yep, I'm a yo-yo dieter. I just need to realize this isn't exactly a diet per se, it…

Getting more Light
Lately I cannot blame the lack of light I am getting and the cold weather for my mocha and mocha coffee chip urges I give in to, but I can try. Feedback? What is good exercise in the Winter?

I need MFP's Help
I have been doing really good on my weight loss on my own. I keep my calorie consumption at about 75% of recommended daily allowance. I realize there are many foods that I have previously enjoyed that I have to give up if I want to hit my goal. One thing I know through my own research is that if we consume a food that our…

I’m Back
I’ve used Fitness Pal in the past to track calories. This is when I’ve been most successful with weight loss. It promotes Mindful eating. But I’m new to the community side of things. I’m not much of a joiner. I’m trying for a bit more accountability this time. Checking in regularly. Making this part of my daily journey.
