Hey Guys!
I’m not particularly focused on bodybuilding, but I’ve always struggled to meet my calorie intake goals, which has affected my weight. As a father to two young boys with my own little family, I want to feel capable of protecting my partner and kids, and be a person of reliability and safety for my loved ones. I’d love to…

Step - calories
How is it that I earn a 437 calorie adjustment for walking 14,000 steps one day but 1,000 calorie adjustment for walking 15,000 the next?? That is not proportionate at all. Makes me wonder how accurate the system is overall … Any ideas??

Today I'm starving unto feeling like I'm going to throw up after dinner and already over my calorie goal. I'm breastfeeding, but that should only be around 300 extra calories. I…

How do you stay within your calorie goal while meeting your daily nutrient goal?
Hello everyone, I got into the weightloss diet with my mother. Our goal is to stay within 1200 calories. I don't really need it, but I decided to do it for my mom. However, I'm having a hard time meeting my nutrient goal. I seem to always go over my carbs, sometimes fiber, fat, and on occasion sugar. It's usually always…

Weight + daily calories charts. How to?
I've got a pretty extensive database of my weight, daily calorie intake, macronutrients and so on. The thing is, MFP doesn't show these elements in relation to each other over time. I'd like to be able to see what my calorie intake over, say, a month looked like in terms of weight loss. I'm looking for information from a…

Almost two weeks in
I've been on my weight loss journey since September 16th, starting at 453.4 lbs, and I'm down to 443.6 lbs as of today. I’ve been sticking to a caloric intake of 1900-2000 calories daily, tracking everything carefully, including oils and sauces. I know from experience not to focus too much on the scale, but these mini…

Is this caloric deficit good?
Hi. I started my weight loss journey three days ago weighing in at 453. I'm currently 451. I weighed 238 lbs roughly 5 years ago and life threw me a huge curve ball and smacked me in the face, ended up falling into a bad depression and ate my life way. Long story short, I'm tired of feeling like this and having back and…

Calorie confusion!
I’m trying to log this Pret muesli pot for breakfast, but the app gives *such* different calorie counts for the same thing and I’m paralyzed about which to choose. I know dieters tend to underestimate rather than overestimate calorie counts so I don’t want to fall into that trap. How do people cope with these discrepancies…

how do I and what happens if I reset my daily calories because 1200 seems to be too high for me.
I set my daily calorie count to 1200 but I'm having a hard time hitting this on a daily basis. I want to reset it to 1000/daily but 1) i don't know how to, and 2) does this change the numbers for the days I've completed so far? I started on Sept 1st and have lost 6lbs so far. Thanks for any info/advice! Rose

I put in my information and, assuming its all correct as ill question the numbers separate from this question, I have a calorie goal of 1680. If i then do 45 mins of walking cardio at 3.5mph and I burn 240 calories. Does my calorie intake goal then go up to 1920? I do 45mins of this cardio 6 days a week... so essentially…

Calorie intake for weight loss
I have 2 questions. Question 1: Should I be consuming a set amount of calories regardless of my weight, intensity and frequency of working out? Question 2: If so, how many calories should I be consuming per day? Thanks for your answers!
