My goal is to build muscle and lose weight. The calories shown by the app is the required calories or the maximum calories or the calories meeded to maintain weight?

It will depend what you told the app you want to do - so it will have your stats and then depending if you said you want to lose/gain 1/2 lb, 1lb or 2lb per week it will give you calories for that goal

if you said you want to maintain it will give you calories to do that.

PS you currently have a BMI of 22.8.

why are you wanting to lose weight? Is that really the right goal for you?

Here's the official explanation. It's a lot better than I could do -

You told MFP you wanted to lose X pounds per week, so it calculated the calorie target needed to reach that goal.

If you eat more than that target, you’ll lose less than X pounds per week.

If you eat less, you might lose more than X pounds.

But the calorie number it gave you is specifically designed to achieve the X pounds per week loss you asked for.
