Rise and Shine and give God the glory, glory is what I sing to my children. Lol

Stayed in my calorie count for the second day in a row. This is after losing 105 pounds in a years period of time. Then gaining back 25, over a 5 month period. I now have the 25, plus an additional 60 to 70 to lose.

I was able to lift ( about 4ft high) hold in place and screw in a piece of Sheetrock all by myself. I surprised myself with how much stronger I've become.

Another year goes by, but this year you have lost that 100 pounds you thought was an impossible dream. So, you believe you can finish losing the next 70.
-
Sorry I accidentally posted before finishing: so.... When I looked at the picture, I couldn't believe how far I'd come. No more double chin, puffy face, small eyes ( because the fat surrounded them) . I'm going to have to take a new picture to put up close by as I do want the reminder of just how far I've already come.

I put up one of those group picture frame with some family pictures inside. My daughter stopped talking in mid-sentance, picked up the frame and just stare between it and me. She said she couldn't believe the difference, she just didn't realize I was that overweight before. I've lost 102, with 80 more to go.

@oosterman What a transformation. I had to sit on the sidelines when my children played on one if those gyms. So proud for you.

I am able to work outside in the heat now that I've lost 100 lbs. Still have about 80 to go. I sat cross legged on the ground for the first time in....years. I have been wearing my size 3x clothes (working clothes) when I buy my chicken feed at the country store. But the other day, I was dressed in my 1x pant / xl top with…

I am 53 and have reached my 100lbs lost just this week, in 11 months. I started at 297, 5'1" and I'm now down to 197 with at least 80 more to go. I hurt my foot probably 10 years ago and the weight just kept piling on ( but I was about 70 lbs overweight then). I started walking on a treadmill at a 1.7 for about 10 min it…

That's is fantastic. Loved the smile in your eyes in both your before and after pictures. Congratulations

I so wish there was a like button on everyone's comments!

That's a great before and after picture.

@raregem99 I loved the Callanetics workout video. The one I have is from back in the 1980's. I haven't tried it since I was so overweight, but know that I've lost some I might have to try again.

Thank y'all for the support. It's 2 in the morning and I need to go back to bed. Hoping to finally get my computer fixed so I can post better again.
-
I do a lot of lurking but not much posting but I wanted to share to encourage others. I reached my 100lb loss today!!! It has taken me almost a year. Mostly low carb 30 - 50 a day, walking about a mile a day. I appreciate reading your lives stories.

Some of the moments: when I climbed up on the roof to watch fireworks with my daughter I can wear anything in my closet with more than half of it really being to big I'm under 200 for the first time I years I can fit into any booth at a Resturant

Giving away a bunch of clothes I have "under grown", yes! I am using some of the clothes to make a quilt. It will be a beautiful reminder of how God can make "beauty from ashes" to me.
-
Sounds like you and your husband have a great relationship. It was nice to hear how he supported you during your transformation. Congratulations.
-
Last night I climbed on the roof with my daughter to watch all the fireworks going off around us. It's been years since I climbed in the roof.

Just move and eat less and you will lose weight. Wether you walk or jog would depend on your fitness and weight level. If your significantly overweight it might not be best to start with jogging but as your fitness level goes up then you can make the switch.
-
So happy for you. It may seem a small thing but I know it's a hugh milestone
-
You are doing fantastic.

@hugheseva To know your heart is getting in better shape is one of the best NSV's I've read. Congratulations.

I thought when I lost under 200 (I'm 199) I would go on a Hot Air balloon ride, but I decided that would have only been for me when my family has been on this journey with me. I'm now trying to decide between a real bike or stationary one. But in 2 pounds I will also have lost 100 pounds. I think I might get a permanent…

@bound4beauty Were almost twins now. Lol. I just had to loose a bit to be at your SW.

Very successful transformation. Well done.

Blessing to you as you continue your journey.

I know, all the discussions about running make me want to try it also, but my body still says "no".

Getting stronger, waking up earlier and ready to start my day, wearing makeup/earrings more, wanting to be intament with my husband more often, smiling when I see myself in the mirror, not dreading the camera.
