That's right, sometimes when you up your physical activity your body will retain a bit more fluid so the cake may say you've gained but if you're consistent you will see results! Don't give up!!

I'm 5'5" and started out at 85kg (187lb) and am currently 74 (163). My goal is to get into healthy weight range so 68 (149). From there I will reassess. I eat around my BMR at 1550 calories and exercise daily with walking and weights at least 2 times a week. Great topic guys! So interesting to read ur answers!

Hey don't sweat it :-) It works for some, not for others. For me I found I didn't like how much I focussed on food in the fast and then felt too hungry on the other days. Well done on making a positive change in your life :-) I feel like if 1600 is feeling good, why change? Stick with it for a while and see if you get results. If you don't see any changes in a month, then re-evaluate. Have you calculated your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)? Just make sure you eat at or above this. Good Luck on…

You've been given some great advice on here. Weightloss is a journey and sometimes it's good to reflect and tweak what you've been doing. Change things up and your body should respond. Don't give up!!! :-)

I had a great salad- Spinach leaves, strawberries, sunflower seeds, goats cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette. Simple but really tasty, I'm sure it would go great with some added chicken too!

Make sure you eat at or above your BMR at the bare minimum. Also try and meet your nutrient goals to allow for optimum health and weight loss.
