I will try the Fit version- thanks!
-
I had to Google Seitan and now I want to try it- thank you!

I haven't tried that brand, maybe I will. I enjoy fish/ seafood, but my husband is deathly allergic, so I rarely have it. The meat thing is weird- something will sound good, I'll prepare it, and after about two bites my body is just like "nope" and I can't choke it down. 🤷🏼♀️

I haven't tried those "pastas", but I'm willing! That pasta sauce sounds delicious! And my past experience with tofu was bad, but I'm willing to try again. Thanks for the ideas!

While I don't love cottage cheese, I do eat it- with tomatoes, fruit, or even just a teaspoon of jam. I've tried tofu and did not like it, but I'm willing to try it again. And I've never heard of protein pudding, so I'll look for those, thanks!

Thanks for looking at my diary- that's exactly why I started logging again, to see if I'm really eating what I think I am. I know when I grab a quick breakfast I tend to omit the protein- at the very least a cheese stick would help. I think that while I've been maintaining my weight I've not necessarily been making the…

46 here, and in the last two years I've lost 45lbs and now I'm down to what I weighed back before I had kids (my oldest will be a senior). I feel SO much better, and more confident! You can do this!!
-
:) Old enough to be your mom but willing to be your friend, too. MFP and calorie counting has helped me lose 45lbs in the last two years, so stick around! You can do this!

Cucumbers.

🙋🏼♀️ Add me! My diary is open and I'm not judging anyone- you'll see that I have good days and days where I eat total junk.

I weigh daily, but don't count it as a true loss/ gain until Ive seen it on the scale 2-3 days in a row. That's usually enough for me to know id it's just a fluctuation or a true change.

Like others have said, it depends on what else is in it. I love the mix of a sharp cheddar with chicken and alfredo sauce, but the stringy mozzarella on a tomato sauce is delicious, as well. Personally, I use whatever cheese I have on hand-- I love any and all kinds of cheese. But I do use it in moderation, as I've learned…

Weekdays it's a spinach smoothie I can drink in the car on the way to work. Spinach, milk, banana, oatmeal, PB2, and sometimes cocoa powder. On the weekends or days off, I usually have scrambled eggs with spinach/cheese and a high fiber english muffin.

If you click on someone's name, then click again on their name to see their profile page, you'll see an "add friend" button.

42 here and always looking for positive MFP friends! (Please no negative comments tearing down others-- I will unfriend you because I don't support that kind of "motivation"!) I log in daily, I'm on day 295, but I tend to just log breakfast and forget the rest of the day... which has led to me gaining back all that I had…
-
Request sent-- I log daily but have gotten into the bad habit of only logging breakfast and ignoring the rest of the day's calories.
-
Request sent. I log daily but have gotten in the bad habit of only logging breakfast... my goal is to stay on track logging every bite. Always open to new MFP friends--- no products, no negativity!
-
II'm always up for new MFP friends! I log in daily. Most days I log at least part of my food, LOL... but I'm trying to get myself back on track and that includes logging every bite. I've been eating a lot of fast food lately and I need the accountability of logging every bite to get me back on track!
-
Friend request sent to the OP, but I always welcome supportive new MFP friends, so everyone else, feel free to add me! I log daily and it helps to have a few comments here and there. I log even on the days (like today) when I didn't eat well.... for me, it's all about being accountable.
-
I only log housework (cleaning) when it's out of my routine. Things I do daily, like cooking (there is a food prep option) or whatever, I don't log.
-
My favorite breakfast smoothie: 1 banana 1 cup skim milk 1 cup raw spinach 1/4 cup oatmeal 2 tbsp PB2-- the chocolate kind is my favorite, or you can add in 1 TBSP cocoa powder I was making this with 1 TBSP regular peanut butter before I discovered PB2. With the PB2, the whole thing is down around 300 calories.

30lbs is an awesome accomplishment! I'm so sorry your mother has said such horrible things to you. I get that if she grew up that way she learned to treat you that way, but that doesn't excuse it-- she still chooses what comes out of her own mouth. I hope that you will continue to make the best choices for yourself-…
-
Whoo hoo! That must feel great!
-
You can do it! I agree with several other comments that small goals are the way to go. Personally, I'm finding it motivating to add MFP friends... those silly little comments and "likes" each day make me want to check in and be sure to do my log each day.
-
Assuming that this friend agreed to be your running buddy, maybe she's just having a "off" couple of days. If someone was nagging me on a day when I truly didn't feel well or just didn't want to go, yes, I could see where that (constant reminders) would be annoying. A couple of texts should be enough-- tell her when/where…
-
I also find it motivating to have interactive friends on MFP... it keeps me checking in and logging daily when I have MFP friends to chat with. Feel free to add me!

What about putting supper in your crockpot? That way all you have to do is maybe make a salad or a side and supper well be ready. There are tons of healthy crockpot recipes out there.
-
I love to cook and feed people...I think it's my love language, lol. That said, though, I'm not offended if someone declines my offer. I think if you force someone to take something than its not really a gift, it's an obligation.
-
I'm also looking for active friends to help cheer each other on. I find that I always lose when I stick with logging my meals, and having some interaction helps!

I'm on day 4 of cycle 1 and would love some mfp friends to share support!
