Thank You!

I tried to make a "sundae" once with plain Greek yogurt, heated up apples and cinnamon, date caramel and walnuts. Plain Greek yogurt tastes JUST like sour cream. A sour cream sundae is no bueno

We take fruit and mixed nuts when we go out Cucumber with salt and pepper is super yummy Rice paper wraps with veggies inside with a peanut sauce is good (blend up soy or coconut aminos and garlic and peanut butter) Cucumber or zucchini "sandwiches" I used to cube cheese and apples and walnuts to make a little salad with…

I think I might be the only weirdo who doesnt prep meat. I am trying to reduce our consimption and I am a bit of a texture queen so I do prep for most things but mostly not meat. Heres a couple of simple recipes with prepped veg from my site http://bigtinysteps.com/2017/07/18/six-easy-meals-with-peppers/…

Thanks so much :)

Yeah it's a *kitten* phrase. Lots of MLM schemes love it!
-
Yep those are great points! I also def live off hot sauce. My point was just that saying you're trying to eat clean (only for lack of a better one) gets responses that indicate it's not popular phrase at the very least.

Haha looks like I dropped bomb and walked away! What I mean is that I try to eat mainly unprocessed foods and support local farming when possible and have tried to cut added sugar etc (saying eat clean is a faster way to say this). the reason I feel like it's unpopular is because it invites lots of "so you wash it first"…
-
Love it! I started a weight loss blog and it's keeping me very accountable. I put my measurements on IG and now im def wanting to keep progressing in the right direction haha
-
I eat a TON of fruit with yogurt and nuts noe that I'm off sugar. The key to making it sustainable is to still eat food you love. Be creative! I've been experimenting with dates and coconut butter candy. Quitting sugar is super helpful I've lost over 20 since may in part by this and have started a weight loss blog. I lost…

I "eat clean" most of the time and would rather eat tons of yummy healthier food then eating less yummy junk. Seems unpopular around these parts. Works for me though I eat like a queen

Overall health. I also started a blog and have posted my stats there and so if I fail i have an audience

Get your mind right and don't try and go too far too fast. Trying to lead a lifestyle you haven't developed yet is destined to fail. Small steps work wonders! I lost 70 lbs this way without any B.S.!!

I am 5 foot 4 and I lost 70 lbs. I have a weight loss blog where I post recipes and tips and my weight loss story is on there www.bigtinysteps.com

I am 6 months postpartum with my third! I find meal prep and planning is super helpful :)
-
Hey I was in a similar boat. Just had my 3rd 5 and half months ago. If you're breastfeeding just be careful to make sure you have enough :) My story is in the success thread, I also went over 200 with all my kids. I eat minimally processed foods and after my second got down to 135 now I am 157 after eating pretty "clean"…
-
Totally understandable I actually did a write up on eating clean because it's very much a buzzword. For me I just avoid packaged food most of the time so that I have more calories left over for when I want to have treats (like Doritos or chocolate) which helped me lose a ton of weight. Thanks for the feedback!

I also quit sugar. I replaced it with fruit and at first didn't worry about calories etc. As I was wanting to break an addiction. The first 4 days were the worst and then I felt totally fine with it. Then after 2 weeks I had another couple of bad days out of the blue but I didn't crack. Part of what helped for me was…

I use coconut milk for the same reason. Only way to tell is to try. Good luck!!
