@LPeattie I find that only until I get used to the workout. Like now I am deconditioned so when I go workout I am sore for a while, before I was doing 2-3 sometimes 4 workouts a week and didn’t get sore. So I would say be conservative with new workouts and possibly do a shorter workout than others if you take a class and…

I feel the same. I wish I had someone to check in on my food choices. I can't always workout due to some physical limitations due to EDS and i think added activity helped me in the past to maintain and lose weight. Feel free to add me

Apparently emojis mess up text. All three done. Working on making better food choices.

Hi there! I have EDS-3 I'm struggling too because in the past I could up my exercise but now my pain is at an all time high. I also started using food when I was in pain and couldn't workout, now that it's an everyday thing I've had to change that bad habit.

Hello I was recently diagnosed as well. The doctor told me to limit gluten and dairy due to the digestive issues. He suggested physical therapy to strengthen the areas that cause issue. I built my own plan by searching stabilizer muscles for each area. I found it helpful then fatigue sidelined me. So far what I've found is…

I'm in as well. My overall goal is 133 -19 pounds from here so 9 would set me up nicely for that. I'm using Weigt a watchers and Mfp groups to get this done. I'm 31 and my weight yesterday was 152.8 or so.

Hi ladies! Yesterday I did 80 minutes of Zumba/ dance cardio then in the evening worked on a dance I'm teaching for my volunteer job. Today is rest day on the BWLW calendar so I'll just focus on finishing the dance. Glad to see this post so I can join.

Hi @Katie_Gee19 I too am trying to get back to "me". I struggle to lose if I don't go to extremes. By which I mean the Tracy Anderson method in which you eat often but few calories and workout intensely daily. Or the use of a weight loss doctor who decreased my calories to 1000 a day and gave me diet pills. I would like to…

Thought I could do two terms back to back. Apparently my house is popular so I'll wait on the waiting list.....it feels a shame to hope something happens to another student so that I can get in.

I hope so too. Initially I was glad to know but now I am battling to not get too down about the permanence of this diagnosis given the pain and no suggestions for living (not just surviving)from the doctor I so.

Hi there. I was diagnosed Thursday. Thinking about getting a second opinion because I was diagnosis JHS not Ehlers Danlos and I believe I have the Hypermobility type. I'm not ready to give up dancing so I am working on strengthening my trouble areas.

From what I've read I believe Rheumatologists and geneticists are the doctors who can diagnose the syndrome. I have had a physical therapist mention it years ago, but he didn't make it seem important nor mention it to my pop at the time.
