I've had my share of ups and downs. I was ready this time to make a life change, and that has made a big difference in my thinking.

I'm perhaps 5'2" - that weight puts me at "normal" but I don't put much into those charts. Gosh - can you lend me some height?
-
I don't even like going up or down stairs - that's how scared I am (fear of falling) and yet - it was OK.
-
AWESOME - so good for you!

Highly recommend - breaking into new habits. or even one time experiences has really helped me get to know the new me.

I didn't anticipate that after losing over 70 pounds (with 30-50 more togo) that I would become a magnet for anyone to tell me their diet horror stories or excuses for why they are not losing weight.

I agree with all the above. My trainer has some specific thigh exercises - but that's toning not weight. Girlfriend both me some neoprene shorts that really make me sweat when I workout. Make me feel like I'm trying everything to get smaller between my waist and knees - but probably just marketing hype!

You got this! Happy to connect and support each other. One decision at a time. Healthy choices add up to a new life!

I started early this year with 100+ to lose as well. I hit the gym, I track my food, I do all the things that I should be doing. I weigh once a week - and the number is what the number is. Down is good, flat is good. Up is bad. As long as you can get to the end of the day or week and say that you did everything you could…

Good for you! I joined a gym at the beginning of the year and have been working out 5-6 days/week. I maintain a 1200 cal diet too. I've lost 54# with another 62 to go! Reach out to connect - You can do this. Great tool here to track your activity and to find support.

I was recently restricted to either swimming, biking, or elliptical by my dr - because of foot problems. I have never liked swimming - but I probably should admit that I don't like being seen in a swimsuit so that's probably most of the issue :( Well I've dropped almost 55 pounds this year - and I bought a swimsuit. Let's…

Yes - taking a moment to celebrate this milestone. And refocus on hitting it for the rest of the year (and life!) I'd love to be like some of these success stories where I can say lost it and kept it off for years and years and years :)
-
Yeah - looks good on you. Great inspiration for my journey.
