No exercise will specifically cause fat to be lost in any particular area. Just gotta lose weight overall and it will eventually come off.0

You can't spot-reduce. Just keep doing what you're doing and they will eventually shrink.0

okay thanks0

I agree with all the above. My trainer has some specific thigh exercises - but that's toning not weight. Girlfriend both me some neoprene shorts that really make me sweat when I workout. Make me feel like I'm trying everything to get smaller between my waist and knees - but probably just marketing hype!0

OP, you can't spot reduce like the others said, but you definitely can do something about the shape of your thighs...Number one is to lose fat all over, but then you can do squats, lunges, deadlifts - with or without weights, depends on your fitness level...Start with wall squats and lunges without weights, then move on to heavier stuff later.... I lost 30lbs, with running/walking as my only exercise - and not much difference in the shape of my huge thighs...Then started resistance training - Jillian Michaels in the beginning - and am now doing Body Beast - with heavy weights. It made a huge difference in my legs.....

TeresaMarie - neoprene shorts would do absolutely nothing except to dehidrate you.... And the sooner you add weight to your "toning" exercises, the sooner you will see results....0

cardio, to help lose the fat around them0

why would you want to lose your thighs? they hold up your a** and your trunk and everything else. no thighs = no walky- or runny- or anything.
Sarcasm aside, you cannot spot reduce- work a calorie deficit lose body fat all over- lift to make sure you don't lose muscle mass.
And remember
"Thick thighs makes the d*ck rise"
he he he he- don't hate me- it's a song.0 -

As you lose, it will come from all over. Lunges, squats, hip thrusters, etc., will help.0
